Spanish Water Dog

Thank you to the Leeds Committee for their invitation to judge at their 2023 show.. My thanks also to my two stewards who were very competent and very pleasant.

I thoroughly enjoyed judging this quality entry, all the dogs had excellent temperaments, and all coats were of a woolly texture and well presented.

Puppy Dog (4,1 ab)

1st Searles, Cravessa’s Bottoms Up. A pleasing outline on this 11month old brown & white dog, who was in short coat. Liked him for his overall balance when stood, as he is rectangular in appearance and sturdy all through.. Well balanced head piece, with correct ratios, showing parallel planes and a dark eye. Strong short neck, leading to well-placed shoulders and has strong hindquarters. Moved true and fluidly when he settled.
