1st: MCCAFFERTY, Mr Frank & MCCAFFERTY, Mrs Janet Thorscrag Hades. Good overall balance. Clean head with slightly rounded skull and high set ears. Neck of good length. Shoulder could be a little more paid back. Chest deep with good length of rib cage. Scores in his hindquarters. Excellent bone and feet. Moved on a free stride.


JD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: RUSSELL, Mrs Lynda & RUSSELL, Miss Hayley Fraulynzway Lightning Bolt. Of the correct size and well balanced all through. Clean head with well developed lips and strong jaw. Neck of good length leading to well laid shoulder and corresponding length of upper arm. Chest of good depth and ribcage of good length. Well made hindquarters. Excellent bone and feet.

Chest of good depth. Well sprung ribcage. Strong hindquarters with good width of second thigh. Well boned all through.

1st: COLLINS, Mrs Lynn & COLLINS, Mr Paul Barleyarch Hoopla At Forestpoint. Liked him for his type and outline. Correct size and excellent overall balance. Clean head with high set ears. Good length of neck leading to well laid shoulder. I would like a little more length of upper arm. Chest of good depth. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters with well bent stifles. Excellent bone and feet. Moved well on a good length of stride. In contention for higher honours.


OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: DYMOND, Mr Bradley Sh Ch Quintana Diamond Dust at Friarsbelle JW. Absolutely super dog from any angle. At 2 years old his best is probably yet to come. So well balanced all through. Head is clean cut with strong jaw and slightly skull. Neck, slightly arched and of good length flowing seamlessly into well laid shoulders. Chest deep with ribs well back. Scores in his hindquarters which are strong and well muscled. Excellent bone and the best of feet. On the move he really impressed - accurate and effortless - really covering the ground well with tremendous rear drive. Totally fit for function. CC & BOB.

2nd: MANN, Mr & Mrs JR & V Sh Ch Valger Ragnar JW. Another top quality dog who I liked very much. Good overall balance. Head clean with high set ears. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders and corresponding length of upper arm. Deep in chest and short in back. Strong hindquarters with well muscled thighs. Moved very well - not quite the length of stride as the winner but a very worthy runner up. RCC

1st: THURM, Mr B & Mrs F Sh Ch Bryburn Bacchus JW Sh.CM ShCEx. Lovely to have the opportunity of judging this “elder statesman”. Excellent overall balance showing true breed outline. Clean head of good length and breadth. Neck flowing into well laid shoulders and corresponding length of upper arm. Chest of good depth with ribcage well sprung. Strong hindquarters. Movement sound and ground covering. Can still give the youngsters a run for their money. BV.

2nd: WILKINSON, Ms K & WILKINSON, Miss Megan Zarozinia Beinn An Oir Sh.CM. Well balanced all through. Good breadth of skull and high set ears. Not as clean in jaw line as the winner. Clean neck leading to excellent lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Chest of good depth with correct length and spring of rib. Strong hindquarters. Moved on a good stride.


PB (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: HINCHLIFF, Mrs E Goosepoint ZsaZsa Gabor. Very smart puppy. Well balanced all through. Clean head with broad high set ears. Arched neck leading to well laid shoulder and upper arm of equal length. Deep in chest. Enough spring of rib for her age. Super hindquarters with good width of second thigh. Excellent bone and feet. Moved out well on good length of stride. BP

2nd: BARNETT, Mrs Rhona Magregor Howl to the Moon. Another very promising puppy. Head of good shape with slightly rounded skull and high set cards. Clean neck eating to well laid shoulder. Little shorter in upper arm than the winner. Chest of good depth. Well ribbed back. Well made hindquarters. Excellent bone and feet. Moved well.

3rd: TAIT, Miss Pamela Benboee BeeLoved


JB (5 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: PEARSON, Mrs W A Winterwell Lulu Moppet to Ladyhawke JW. I really loved this young bitch. Super overall balance and correct breed outline. Lovely head with slightly rounded skull and high set ears. Clean, slightly arched neck flowing through to well laid shoulders and corresponding return of upper arm. Deep chest. Ribs well sprung and carried well back. Well muscled hindquarters. Excellent bone and the best of feet. On the move she was effortless and ground covering. She pushed the CC winner very hard but had to give way on maturity. I am sure she will gain her title with ease. RCC.

2nd: STALEY, Ms Clare Jomeel Olivia's Choice. Another quality bitch. Very well balanced all through. Clean head and strong jaw. Good length of neck leading to well laid shoulder. Not quite the return of upper arm as the winner. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Well off for bone. Moved well on a good stride.

Slightly arched neck leading to excellent lay of shoulder and corresponding length of upper arm. Chest of good depth and ribcage well sprung. Strong hindquarters with well bent stifles. Excellent bone and feet. Moved well with good rear drive.

2nd: STALEY, Ms Clare Jomeel Now I'm Here. Good overall balance. Head of good breadth and slightly rounded skull. Clean neck. Not quite the lay of shoulder as the winner. Chest of good depth. Well sprung ribcage. Well made hindquarters with nicely bent stifles. Moved out on a good stride.

OB (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: HARRIS, Mrs S Barleyarch Pakora. Outstanding bitch from any angle. I totally loved her. Having judged quite a few bred from this kennel over the years - she is cast in exactly the same mould. Excellent overall balance with true breed outline. Everything is seamless and flows from nose to tail. Quality head with smooth slightly rounded skull. Arched neck leading through to excellent lay of shoulder and corresponding length and return of upper arm. Deep chest. Well sprung ribcage going well back. Good width and length of croup. Powerful well muscled hindquarters with good width of second thigh. On the move she covered the ground effortlessly with good rear drive. Delighted to award her the CC - which I understand is her third. My sincere congratulations to her owner/breeder who has over the years produced some truly lovely dogs.

2nd: THURM, Mr B & Mrs F Sh Ch Dappledele First Date at Bryburn. Another top quality bitch. Very well balanced with true breed outline. Clean cut head. Good length of neck leading to excellent forehand assembly. Good depth of chest. Slightly longer cast in body than the winner. Excellent hindquarters with well turned stifles. Moved well with good drive.

VB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: LINDRIDGE, Miss Katie Amidala Fast And Furious JW. Good overall balance and well made all through. Well shaped head with broad high set ears. Clean neck leading to excellent lay of shoulder. Chest of good depth and ribcage well sprung. Scores in her hindquarters with strong well muscled thighs. Excellent bone and feet. Moved soundly both fore and aft with good length of stride when viewed in profile.

1st: MORRISON, Ms Catriona Brozak Rise of the Phoenix. Good overall balance. Clean cut head with strong jaw. Good length of neck. I would like a little more angulation in the forequarters. Chest of good depth and well ribbed back. Well made hindquarters with nicely turned stifles. Excellent bone and feet. Moved steadily.

2nd: RYAN, Mrs Janine Magregor Peppermint Moon. Good overall balance. Head has nicely rounded skull and high set ears. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Longer cast in body than the winner and needs to strengthen through her hindquarters. Excellent bone and feet. Moved steadily once settled.

2nd: JACKMAN MBE TD, Col Stephanie L E L Lotte Eleanor NAVIGAREAMOR SPRING TIDE. Well balanced all through. Clean cut head with well placed ears. Good length of neck leading to well laid shoulder. Not quite the depth in chest as the winner. Well ribbed back. Scores in hindquarters with well turned stifles and good width of second thigh. Moved soundly.
