My thanks for the exhibitors for entering under me and to my stewards for keeping me on the straight and narrow. I thought there was a lovely atmosphere around the ring. For my Best Dog and Best of Breed I selected Wallis’ Gladsheim Veritas. My Res Best Dog was Hearson’s Gladsheim Acer At Jumasue. For Best Bitch I chose Mar-Gerrison’s Gladsheim Willow at Valkira and my Res Best Bitch and Best Veteran was Guy’s, Cirtap's Prinses Bynton Ida Rose MK (Imp Swe). Best Special Beginner was Caldwell’s Valkira Secret Love at Taighmuilne.

Class 567 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1145 BROOK, Mrs Leanne & BROOK, Mr Neil Papikoi Time Out

Well-made dog, on the stack he tended to lose his shape but won the class on movement. He has a handsome head and expressions. Ears have good ear rings. Good through the neck, heavy coated. Shoulder well set. Stands on well boned legs and compact feet. Well made in body, ribs well sprung. A shade soft in topline today. Quarters moderately angulated and hocks well let down. Scored in movement, coat in good condition.

2nd: 1156 MARSDEN, Ms S A Gladsheim Apollo

This dog scored on outline and balance but for me he was carrying a little to much weight and this showed in his movement. He has a well-made head of good proportions, with a masculine expression. Ears well set with black ear rings. Good angles front and rear, shoulders well laid. Well made in body, ribs well sprung. Quarters well developed. In excellent coat and condition.

1st: 1157 WALLIS, Miss Molly, Gladsheim Veritas

This chap is just 2 years old, and I thought him really smart. Good overall body proportions with that correct height to length ratio. Head shape good with good balance. Ears well set and well feathered. Loved his markings and colour. Strong neck which led on to correct front assembly, excellent lay back of shoulder. Straight, correctly boned legs with super tight feet. Body developing well, ribs starting to spring nicely. Super quarters for his age. Good action on the move, good drive and footfall. Pleased to make him Best Dog and later Best of Breed. I am sure he will have a bright future ahead of him.

2nd: 1146 CALDWELL, Mrs G J Crunchcroft Razzle-dazzle at Taighmuilne

Good overall shape and balance, not quite the clean lines of the winner and he is a tad broad in back skull. Good front assembly, neck short and muscled up. Front assembly good but would have liked him a little tighter in elbow. Body well made, good depth to chest and spring of rib. Quarters well developed, good breadth. Did enough on the move with a positive action.

Class 572 OD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1151 HEARSON, Miss J A Gladsheim Acer at Jumasue

The four-year-old chap had a masculine head and expression, super eye shape and colour. Well set ears. Excellent front assembly, shoulder well laid back, forelegs straight and standing on well-made feet. Body of correct proportions, ribs well sprung. Quarters well made, moderate bend of stifle, super muscle tone. Excellent side gate on the move, which gave him the call, just would have like a better tail carriage to complete the picture.

2nd: 1149 GUY, Mrs Katy Jane & GUY, Mr Andrew Gladsheim Eleodoro at Kerelkoor

He is out of a different mould to the winner, head shape good just not quite the expression of the winner and would have liked a better eye. Good front assembly, short neck, well-muscled. Standing on well boned legs. Body proportions good with level topline and depth to his chest. Hindquarters well developed, moderate stifle. Moved with drive.

Class 574 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 1150 GUY, Mrs Katy Jane & GUY, Mr Andrew Cirtap's Prinses Bynton Ida Rose MK (Imp Swe)

I see from my records that I judged this lady as a youngster when she won a good class. Classic head with good proportions. Appealing eye with good shape and plenty of work that gave her pleasing expression. Strong through the neck which led on to a well assembled front, shoulders well laid back. Standing on good well boned legs, super feet. Strong firm topline, ribs well sprung. Quarters strong and balanced, moderate stifles. Excellent on the move with a typical action and a good tail action. Very close for top honours, just pipped by the open winner on the move at the end Reserve Best Bitch.

Class 577 SBB (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1147 CALDWELL, Mrs G J Valkira Secret Love at Taighmuilne

Very pretty young bitch with good overall shape and balance. Pleasing in head which is well shaped and has good proportions. Clean in neck, well set shoulders, just needs to drop into her front and fill her frame to complete the picture. Body well made of correct proportions and level backed. Quarters developing well. Good on the move with a good fluid action.

Class 578 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1155 MAR-GERRISON, Miss A Valkira Whispering Hope

Litter sister to the second, she is feminine with the right amount of size & substance for her age, balanced throughout. Her head is feminine and well proportioned & has good fill in & work, well placed ears which were well fringed. Good front assembly, stands on well boned legs & neat feet. Good depth to forechest for her age and ribs well sprung, quarters developed & moderate bend to stifles. Covered the ground with a springy action.

2nd: 1147 CALDWELL, Mrs G J Valkira Secret Love at Taighmuilne

Class 579 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 1154 MAR-GERRISON, Miss A Gladsheim Willow At Valkira

I liked this lady, mother to the previous class winners. She has pleasing feminine head and expression well balanced, good eye colour. Strong through the neck, excellent front assembly with shoulders well laid back and a decent return of upper arm. Standing on good legs with super tight feet. Correct through the body with level topline and well sprung ribs. Quarters well made, broad with a moderate bend of stifle. Really used her quarters to advantage on the move to deliver that typical movement. Best Bitch

2nd: 1148 DUNFORD, Mr PHILIP Arthur & DUNFORD, Mrs SUSAN MILLHANGER VICTORIA PLUMB

I liked this lady for overall type, well made with a head of good proportions. Ears well set with good feathering. Neck strong, front assembly OK, shoulders well placed, needs a little more return of upper arm. Standing on good straight legs. Body well developed with ribs well sprung. Moderate quarters which she used on the move with a typical action.
