Crufts

Again a big thank you to the Crufts Committee for the huge honour of judging this year at Cruft's. On the Day 4, I have had the pleasure of judging this lovely breed: the CANAAN DOG the typical Israeli breed, full of charm that has its origins in ancient history.

POST GRADUATE DOG ( 2 entries, 1 abs.)

1st – ANACAN WE GOT THE POWER - 3 & ½ yrs nice black dog of good type, correct in body proportions, excellent head shape, lovely eyes and expression, correct ears set, quite correct the carriage. Good neck, correct topline, croup and tail set, well balanced front and rear angulations, correct and typical in movement. Good coat quality. Today he's Reserve Best Dog.

OPEN DOG   ( 3 entries, 1 abs.)

1st – Ch. RIVER ROCK UNANIMOUS DECISION - 6 yrs old excellent type dog. Perfect in body proportions, very nice, masculine and well typical head, lovely eyes shape and breed expression, correct ears set and carriage. Good reach of neck, correct topline and croup with excellent tail set and carriage. Correct and well balanced front and rear angulations, hocks fairly well let down. Smooth and typical movement. Excellent coat quality. Great personality and ring presence, truly a show dog. Pleased to award him the Best Dog & BOB, certainly a great example of the breed to show in the main ring today.

2nd – ANACAN ABU GHOSH – 10 yrs old, in good general condition. just slightly too long in body to have perfect body proportions. Good masculine head, expressive eyes, correct ears set, acceptable carriage, good neck, slightly sloping topline, correct tail set and carriage. Good movement and coat quality.

PUPPY BITCH ( 1 entries)

1st – ANACAN ROCK MY WORLD - 10 mth old puppy of excellent type. Correct body proportions, feminine head full in type, lovely breed expression. Good neck, but not so firm topline. Correct croup ant tail set, unfortunately the tail is not well carried due to a too shy temperament. Good on the rear angulations, but in front the pasterns are a little soft. Typical in movement, excellent coat quality, she just needs to improve her confidence in the ring. She's the Best Bitch & Best Puppy of today.
