I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge at their prestigious

Championship show at this lovely venue and for their hospitality, also the exhibitors for the

super entry and the continuous support around the ring, I was delighted to have so many

quality bitches. I would also like to thank my stewards for all their help in making it run

smoothly. Thank you to my co-judge Mrs M D'Arcy for our friendly discussion and the

referee Mr David Howarth for his decision.

VETERAN (10, 2)

1st TATCHELL'S – SMOKEYCOT EBONY DAYDREAMER

Black, rising 8 years old, lovely feminine expression, correct balance of head and muzzle, plenty of

bone, deep in forechest, good angulations, moved free and sound, sorry that it was a little tired in

the challenge. BVB

2nd PATTISAN'S – PATTILANDS SHINING STAR

Yellow, rising 11 years old, loved her head and length and width of muzzle. Well ribbed and good

angulations, good moving bitch that kept her topline on the move.

3rd HOOPER'S – TULLOCHMOHR DREAM OF ME AT BALCRIST JW

MINOR PUPPY (7, 0)

1st BOULDEN'S – RUMHILL BOSSY BOOTS

Chocolate, of 8 months old, lovely puppy just right for her age. Loved her head and eye shape, clean

neck leading into well placed shoulders, good bone and correct feet. Balanced throughout, level

topline and good tail set, moved well

2nd CAMPBELL'S – BINNAIG BUPPSALA

Black, rising 7 months old, lovely sweet feminine head, good neck and front, good bone and tailset,

level topline, not as clean as 1st. Will change places often.

3rd MCLELLAN'S – SARANDEN PIPER

1st LAVELLE, LAVELLE & WILES – CROSSCROYDE CHIANTI

Yellow, nearly 10 months old, sweet melting expression, good reach of neck , good bone leading to

neat feet, good topline , clean and balanced throughout. BPB

2nd BISHOP'S – THE GIRL IS FUN FROM LINJOR

Yellow, 11 months old, Strong head but still feminine, good reach of neck and depth of body, nice

well developed hindquarters, moved well.

3rd O'NEILL'S – RAMSAYVILLE GIGI AT TALIGAL

1st DAWSON'S – WYNFAUL CARBON COPY AT BESKERBY

Black, correct length of muzzle to head, with lovely expression, strong in outline, with plenty of

bone, neat feet, good front and rear angulation, barrel ribs, good mover, tail carriage a little high

2nd DAVIS & ROWE'S – ROCHEVALE PALM READER

Black, another I liked and will swap often, pretty feminine head, lighter than first and in lovely

condition with double coat, although like most on the blow, well ribbed and good turn of stifle,

moved well, just preferred overall balance of 1st on the day.

3rd BIDIN'S – ANUEDIS LEIA ORGANA

SPECIAL BEGINNERS (5, 3)

1st STATTS – QUINTE HONEYSUCKLE

Yellow, lacking in coat today, pretty head with lovely eye expression, she had lovely angles front and

rear, good level topline and tailset, good mover.

2nd JONES – LEMBAS TIANA AT SERENJAR

Black, very pretty bitch, just couldn't go over her today as she was being a handful for her owner,

what I could assess was her overall balance, good chest and depth of body.

YEARLING (7, 3)

1st CASEY & JAYES – BERLAN FIRST IN LINE AT SANDYLANDS

Pale Yellow, super type and quality as usual from this kennel, just lacked coat. Lovely head with a

sweet expression, good lay of shoulder, level topline, short coupled with good angulation front and

rear, stood foresquare on neat feet, moved well.

2nd BIDIN'S – ANUEDIS NOMI SUNRIDER

Another Pale Yellow, lovely balanced bitch, good depth and overall confirmation, with strong rear

quarters, moved okay, just preferred head on 1st.

 3rd KING'S – MIKMAQLABS HEART'S DESIRE

MAIDEN (8, 2)

1st PHILLIPS – ROCHEVALE GYPSY AT SHEENARON

Yellow, nearly 14 months old, loved her eye shape, colour and pigmentation, good front and

shoulder placement, nice tight feet, enough bone, moved true, just needs time to mature

2nd YOUNG'S – POTTERZURI MYSTIC ZENA

Black, maturing nicely, pleasing head and expression with good neck and front, level topline, good

mover, just preferred coat on 1st.

3rd BOULDEN'S – RUMHILL BOSSY BOOTS

NOVICE (6,2 )

1st O'NEILL'S – RAMSAYVILLE GIGI AT TALIGAL

Black of pleasing type and balance, strong for one so young, with plenty of scope, nice head with

good eye shape and width of muzzle, good length of neck, level topline, good second thigh. Moved

well.

2nd CAMPBELL'S – BINNAIG BUPPSALA

Chocolate, quality bitch from this well known kennel, good head and expression, with lovely neck

and layback of shoulder, short coupled with deep chest, would have preferred a longer length of leg.

1st SHIRTON'S – WOOLMAN CAREFREE

Lovely class, just had to nit pick, yellow, good substantial bitch with a lovely head, eye colour and

length and width of muzzle, correct angulation, level topline which she held on the move.

2nd MILLS – JAYBEC WINTER WISPA JW

Yellow, lovely type, pleasing head, good bone leading to tight feet, well angulated hindquarters,

moved well

3rd BRADDON'S – TRENDLEWOOD SHAPE OF YOU

POST GRADUATE (9, 2)

1st METCALFE'S – BAILEYDALE HELLO SAILOR

Yellow, this compact bitch was a lovely example of the breed, she stood four square, head a little

strong but still feminine, a lovely level topline and good otter tail. short coupled with good

angulations.

2nd PERCIVAL'S – WYNFAUL NEW YEARS EVE

Black, lovely bitch, a shade smaller than the first, good type with correct balance all round, shame

she had lost her coat.

3rd LAPPER'S – NAIKEN EVITA

MID LIMIT (11, 2)

Yellow, a bitch that I had admired as a puppy, had it all except for her coat. Balanced head, level

topline, good depth of body, enough bone and neat feet, just pipped for the C.C. Pleased to award

her the RCC today, congratulations on getting her third C.C the day before.

2nd MCLLELLAN'S – SARANDEN THE RIVER

Yellow, lovely breed type, slightly smaller than first, loved her feminine expression, clean neck

leading to well placed shoulders, level topline and front and rear angulation.

3rd WOODALL'S – MATTAND A MILLION DREAMS FOR THIRLMERE JW

LIMIT (14, 4)

1st BRADLEY'S NANCY'S SPECIAL TREASURE -

Black, that was oozing breed type and temperament, not over exaggerated, correct size, melting

expression, correct reach of neck and clean in shoulder. Well sprung ribs and well angulated front,

good width of stifle and second thigh, moved straight and sound, just holding onto her coat. Pleased

to award her her third C.C

2nd MINCHELLA'S – ABBEYSTEAD PSION OF HASELORHILL

Black, another lovely bitch, longer cast than first, excelled in clean outline, feminine head, good

length and width to muzzle, good length of leg leading to neat feet, good front angulation, level

topline and tail set, good mover.

3rd VENTURI ROSE'S – LEOSPRING EAST INDIE

1st CASEY & JAYES – SH CH LAPEMA MASQUERADE AT SANDYLANDS

Yellow, another excellent one from this kennel which I have admired from the ringside for a while.

Stood foresquare, not overdone in any way, well placed ears with a nice soft expression, good

angulations and depth of body, moved very well, not in her best jacket.

2nd HOPKINSON & KLEINHANS – ROCHEBY HAZELBERRY

Yellow, lovely mature girl, balanced head, deep in brisket, good front angulation, balanced, just

needed more tail to complete the picture.

3rd HODGE'S – CH NAIKEN ETOILE

1st PATTINSON'S – PATTILANDS MS INDEPENDENT

Yellow, lovely balanced outline, beautiful moving bitch, nice head leading onto good topline,

quarters and tailset.

2nd SMITH'S – FLYENPYG AMY SWINEHOUSE

Black, smaller than first, feminine head, good reach of neck onto good shoulders, neat feet and

topline, moved well
