Lhasa Apso Club

Lhasa Apso Club Open show 10-7-2022

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge the club open show and to the exhibitors for the fantastic entry, I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon with you all. I’ve always had a soft spot for the breed after my parents gave me a gold and white Lhasa puppy for my 21st birthday, so it brought back happy memories.

PD (5,2abs)

1. Clutterbuck & Cain’s Kutani Hamilton. Great class to start with, this well balanced and stylish youngster caught my eye with his smooth free flowing action and proud head carriage. Well-proportioned masculine head with a typical aloof expression. Very good front assembly with a nice sweep of neck fitting smoothly into his shoulders, well ribbed and nicely angulated behind. Tail is set on and carried well. Coat presented beautifully. An exciting youngster who has a real presence about him, pleased to award him BP and BPIS.

2. Blake’s Jahneemahs Sunstone at Gallerio. Another promising and nicely balanced puppy, with a pleasing breed typical outline both standing and on the move. Attractive head of good proportions and dark oval eyes. Decent forehand with a reachy neck fitting nicely into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, strong topline, muscular hindquarters and tail set on well. Shown in lovely coat condition which is of good texture. Moved with a free and easy gait, just a touch close behind at the moment.

3. Roberts’ Domensa Positively Perfect at Marbledale.
