AVNSC Toy

P (2)

1. Whitehouse’s Amalric Coco Chanel with Dalmonde (ETT). Pretty girl, very much a baby needing a bit more substance and body weight as she’s a touch narrow at the moment. Feminine wedge shaped head with lovely candle flame ears and darkest of eyes. Rich chestnut tans and glossy jacket. She is a bit uncoordinated on the move, and will need plenty of time to develop.

2. McFarlane’s Sharlarna Black Jack RAF (Löwchen). A nice sized dog with good substance for his age. Pleasing head and expression. He has a compact body shape underneath a huge coat and is well ribbed back. Unsettled on the table today and needs to get together more on the move, hopefully he’ll get the hang of it in time.

J (3,2abs)

1. Park’s Raygen Cupcake (Min Pin). A pleasing young b/t girl, I liked her size and naturally sloping topline with nicely angulated hindquarters. Feminine well-proportioned head. Shown in gleaming jacket and in fit hard condition. Sound on move, lift in front could be a little better to give true hackney action.

PG (3,2abs).

1. McFarlane’s Sharlarna Black Jack RAF (Löwchen) - see notes above, he was more settled on the move in this class.

O (3)

1. James’ Jaegerson Code Red (Min Pin). Red girl, she is very showy and such an attentive showgirl too so immediately catches the eye. Very nice head and expression, dark eyes and nose, good front, lovely shoulders and topline gently sloping to her nicely angulated quarters. Shown in beautiful coat and condition. Moves so soundly, with some lift at the front, lovely girl. Best AVNSC.

2. Whitehouse’s Twowayshouse Tudor King for Dalmonde (ETT). Handsome boy who just seemed a bit disinterested today, but I liked his type and shapely outline very much. Attractive wedge shaped head, dark eyes and high set candle flame ears. Deep chest and well ribbed and good hind angulations. Shown in fit condition with rich tans and glossy black jacket. Moved soundly. Res best AVNSC.

3. McFarlane’s Kerryken Keir Rob (Löwchen)

Toy Group. A strong group making for some tough decisions,

1. Phelps’ Bilohka Beretta (Pug). Eye catching youngster who scored highly on his beautiful headpiece, masculine, very well pigmented with plenty of fine wrinkle without being overdone, I liked his large round eyes with just a hint of mischief. Cobby well balanced and short coupled body topped off with a plush coat and well curled high set tail. Came into his own on the move, sound and stylish and quite the showman too. Delighted to hear that he later took RBPIS, well done.

2. Morley & Hitchcock’s Lizlanmor Stormin’ Norman (Pekingese). Close up in the challenge, this charming youngster, not long out of puppy, is so very typy. Beautiful head, shallow and wide with large lustrous eyes and open nostrils. Defined waist, low slung with plenty of width between his legs topped off with a beautifully presented coat. Very sound on the move with the desired slow dignified roll.

3. James’ Jaegerson Code Red (Min Pin). Quality and very smart girl, looking lovely in profile with her classic outline. Just wished she had a little more hackney action at front on the move.

4. Rooney’s Yorone Centre Stage (S/C Chihuahua). Saucy youngster, beautiful head and expression, clear eyes, large flaring ears, moving briskly around the ring, super prospect.

Toy Puppy Group

1. Phelps’ Bilohka Beretta (Pug). Still showing his socks off, his showmanship and movement won him the puppy group.

2. Rooney’s Yorone Centre Stage (S/C Chihuahua). Another promising youngster, just giving away a bit on maturity today.

3. Rooney & Green’s Yorone Hold That Thought (Japanese Chin). Lovely size and shape, super head and expression, moved soundly, not quite the look at me attitude of the first two.

4. Hill’s Penemunde Asia (Chinese Crested). Real baby, this attractive hairless boy has a nice outline with slightly arched neck flowing into to a firm topline, lovely skin, attractive head, dark eyes and furnishings are coming along nicely. Full of himself on the move.

Special beginners stakes

P (5, 1 abs)

1. Beer’s Lowrider All Might and Magic (Min s/h Dachshund). Promising male, still very much a baby with lots of maturing to do. Shown in lovely coat and condition. Attractive and nicely shaped head and eye. Deep in chest with good rib cage, strong legs, nice shape to body with well-turned stifles. Moved out well to take this class.

2. Moore’s Purbarn Friends Together (Golden Retriever). Masculine well-proportioned head, dark eyes and kind expression. Neck of good length, into well laid shoulder and firm topline and well angulated quarters. Moved soundly and steadily.

3. Patterson’s Eltimaris Jubilee Hoorah (Bearded Collie)

PG (22, 15 abs)

1. Rutherford’s Potbelli Limited Edition JW (Pug). Smart compact young man, liked his size and substance. Plenty of work to head with dark clearest of eyes and open nostrils. Good legs and feet, well bent stifles and well curled tail. Showed himself off to advantage, and moved very soundly with good reach at front which won him the class.

2. Gough’s Cretshengan Kitchi Lake (Ai) (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever). Eye catching male shown in lovely richly coloured double coat. I liked his size and outline. Handsome balanced head and kind expression with well set on ears. Good front, deep chest and great hindquarters which enabled him to move out so soundly.

3. Cooper’s Haveback Beech Haven (Welsh Corgi (Cardigan)
