I would like to thank the committee for this appointment I spent a lovely day with some lovely friendly exhibitors and their great dogs had so many good dogs but not enough cards. Also a shout to my excellent steward Trudi and her very able young assistant. Many Thanks.

Overall the breeds in the toy group are looking good just a minority that needed better care, especially in the teeth department, Having Pekingese myself I know what a job it is to keep on top of teeth but dirty teeth do affect the health of a dog.

Chihuahua ( Longcoat) Junior 1ent

1st Taylor Chantaydan Strike a Pose this young bitch lived up to her name lovely compact body, very alert expression and moved with that lovely brisk action, correct well-rounded head good ear set correct scissor bite nice spring of rib level back as one with her handler. Moved out with that lovely brisk movement Beautifully presented BPIB

1St Skinner Mujerosa Bobby in Heaven Lovely expression nicely rounded head large ears correct scissor bite, definite stop, good spring of rib, the nice front moved with purpose balanced all round RBB

2nd Skinner Tyssul Dafydd Du Correct round head correct scissor bite correct stop nice tight muzzle moved well just preferred the more compact size of 1st

2nd Morris Mikichi Mr Moonlight Liked this lad but the owner left before I had done the critique so from memory he was a good shape and he moved well.

2nd Lewis Carleeto Minnie the Minx Young Black/Tan slightly larger than one but with a melting expression nicely balanced head good arch of neck strong top-line balanced body nice feathered feet moved with purpose.

2nd Merrifield Featherfalls Fools N Horses A nice young dog he had that lovely melting look only a cavalier can give handsome correct head nice shape throughout good feet moved well with the correct tail carriage

2nd Stansbury Cathmead Brian Boru at Dooraclare Nice headpiece well muscled throughout level topline balanced shape good feet moved well.

2nd Darlington Featherfalls Sacred Night Another nice dog very pleasing head good eye set plenty to like about the compact body of this dog strong level topline good muscles lovely tail carriage moved with reach and drive.

2nd Cox Magiro Snow Princess Pretty feminine bitch smaller than 1st she carried a lot of coat to the detriment of her shape when she moved she went well.

1st Crump Cedilla Maskerade Pigalle What a happy and lively bundle of pug this girl is only a pup when she stopped wiggling she was a nice type nice large head neat ears dark eyes short cobby body good spring of rib moved out well RBB BP

2nd Makepeace Cedilla Cherry Jubilee at Sandigara These two are of a smilier type nice head dark eyes strong stocky body well-sprung ribs that moved well.

1st Makepeace Sandigara Second Thoughts Strong looking dog large head with a good ear set dark eye short backed well-sprung ribs moved with reach and drive BOB

2nd Alexandra Tangetoppen’s Easy to Say Treveth This lad was well up in size he was also a fidget when I got hands-on he had a strong head of good type short cobby body moved out well.

1st Snell Moretonia Royal Navy Dark eye with nicely set candle-flame ears correct mouth slightly long in back well muscled throughout neat feet moved OK

1st Moretonia Golden Girl Very feminine girl with dark eyes she did not overuse her ears that’s for sure but when she did she had the typical candle-flamed ears set in a nice wedge correct scissor bite strongly made bitch thought-out well muscled Moved well BOB

2nd Dicker Neerodan Made to Make It Correct shaped head very feminine dark eye could of used her ears better good mouth nice overall shape in a good jacket just was not as sharp on the move as one.

1st Norvanik Rumour Has It First word I wrote was Gorgeous and she was and she knew it lovely compact shape lovely foxy head good mouth ears working all the time good spring of rib dainty cat feet moved out well. RBB BP

2nd Foster Brenafrost Sugar Cane This dog had a huge coat but in that coat he had a nice head correct ears and a scissor bit he is longer in the back than 1 moved OK

1st French Norvanik Happy Go Lucky at Bincombefarm Lovely put together girl, nice head foxy face, correct ears working all the time, good mouth lovely cobby well-muscled body lovely neat feet which she used well on the move good free movement BOB

2nd Foster Kenigsvet Deadly Dangerous at Brenfrost Nice headpiece neat ears dark eyes correct bite slightly larger than 1 but moved out well these two were close.

1st Olof Tarnock Sweep the Board What a handsome lad loved his very balanced head lovely dark eye correct mouth

1st Stanbury Inixia Made by Design loved this dog what is not to like lovely headpiece with great fringed ears and the darkest of eyes correct mouth deep chest good tuck up great size with plenty of muscle coat was silky and fringed and when he moved he was very free flowing with a lot of look at me. 2nd Orchard Panspayon Natasha JW another nice Papillion another nice head darkest of eyes great ears that worked nonstop correct mouth level top line deep chest good tuck up silky coat throughout neat hare feet moved out well.

1stOsborne Magstarai Magic in the Stars was very balanced standing nice type head darkest of eyes excellent mouth both for pigment and scissor bite a tad longer than my taste but she won this class on movement fore and aft was true and sound.BOB

1st Thompson Rossyn Asami (Japanese Chin) Loved this girl as she walked in the ring she had attitude such a smart girl and going over her did not disappoint good rounded fore face small well-set ears open large nose short muzzle plenty of cushion around her upper lip lovely dark eyes, legs strong but fine, correct body lovely hare feet Beautiful coat and feathering Moved out well BOB

2nd Lovell & Thatcher Devonia’s Anzio (Bolognese) Smart 10mth old lad nice wide skull for age dark round eyes with good pigment good jaw correct scissor bite medium length neck well muscled though out the good lay of shoulder nice level back with a slight rise over loin strong rear, tail set correct on the move this lad really showed how well put together he was, he moved out well BP

2nd Thompson Rossyn Magical Fantasy for Culverwood ( Japanese Chin) Similar in type to the previous class winner liked this dogs head marking his expression was intelligent and good-natured so typical of the breed nice dark eyes broad fore skull nice open nostrils good padding on the upper lip correct bite good length to height ratio nice hare feet Moved well but the movement was just not as good as 1st
