AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD

O 2(0)

1. Turnbull/Clegram’s Ch. Jenkova To The Other Side. 3 year old shown in excellent coat and condition, she had good angulation front and rear, keen alert expression, shown in full coat and well muscled throughout and moved to advantage, I was delighted that this bitch went on to not only be my Pastoral Group winner but the eventual Best In Show winner, BOB.

2. Turnbull/Clegram/Holligan/Douglas’ Talard She’s Got The Look. A nice blue merle bitch, good reach of neck, a little extra length in the loin I felt but yet to mature and a good prospect, easy ground covering light footed gait.

BEARDED COLLIE

J 4(1)

1. Nolan’s Talraz Badge of Honour. Masculine head, correct eye, good underjaw, balanced angulation giving good reach and drive, correct croup, tail set and carriage, I just preferred the extra forward reach of 1 over 2.

2. Jay’s Talraz Song of Summer. Lovely feminine bitch and therefore more refined than 1, correct bone, good angulation, plenty of drive from the rear, easy efficient gait, nice prospect.

3. MacDougall’s Clanmac’s Hey There Delilah.

PG 4(1)

1. Jay’s Matamata Lorien Lady at Talraz. Very nice bitch, a little ‘aware of her surroundings on the day’, feminine head, good reach of neck, excellent angulation and took the class with some comfort, I was delighted that this bitch went on to be my Group 2 in the Pastoral Group and I believe once she has settled down she will be an excellent prospect for the future, BOB.

2. Nolan’s Talraz Badge of Honour.

3. MacDougall’s Clanmac’s Hey There Delilah.

O 3(2)

1. Jay’s Talraz Gift of Gold. 5 year old bitch, well proportioned, moderate reach of neck, balanced angulation, well held top-line, good croup and tail set, tail occasionally rose on the move given her surroundings.

HUNGARIAN PULI

J 2(0)

Two 13 month old youngsters.

1. McBeth’s Maclaurien Maggie Mae. Just had come on a little bit more than 2, nice dark eye, good angulation and absolutely sound on the move.

2. McBeth’s Mclaurien Georgy Girl. Good proportions, not quite the rear drive or turn of stifle of 1 but parallel on the move when settled, it will be interesting to see how she matures.

O 1(0)

1. Lewins’ Pedro Zwierz W Dredach. A male shown in full coat and in very good condition, moderate angulation throughout, balanced and a parallel gait on the move, perhaps some practise would benefit in the context of handling and movement, BOB.

AV IMPORTED BREED REGISTER

O 2(1)

1. 5 year old male White Swiss Shepherd, excellent angulation, strong top-line, good croup, shown in full coat and absolutely sound on the move.

G1 Turnbull/Clegram’s Ch. Jenkova To The Other Side - Australian Shepherd.

G2 Jay’s Matamata Lorien Lady at Talraz - Bearded Collie.

G3 Holmes’ Lisjovia Hanky Panky - Pyrenean Mountain Dog. Lovely feminine bitch, 17 months old, kind dark eye, excellent angulation, showing a long easy gait, excellent prospect.

G4 Curren’s Stormymoon Odin. Impressive 3½ year old male, full of vim and vigour on the day, good balance in profile, correct head, powerful throughout and moved to good effect in profile. could have been a touch tidier moving away on the day.

PG1Bycroft’s Niavana Raw Silk - Belgian Shepherd Dog (Tervueren). A really nice prospect, very well handled and presented in full coat and excellent condition.

AV PASTORAL

1. Critchlow/Wilson’s Pavoskas Eloisa Esteli - Finnish Lapphund.

O 4(2)

1. Arkley’s Domburg On My Mind - Belgian Shepherd Dog (Tervueren). A super example of the breed, correct head, good proportions and absolutely sound on the move.

2. Reay’s Saniaquinto By Magic at Jacqueilas - Welsh Corgi (Pembroke). 3 year old boy I have judged before and on a very hot day he coped better than most, once again very well handled and presented and moved with a quick parallel gait.

V 5(1)

1. Nolan’s Talraz Nuts In May. Excellent on the move, good overall proportions, impressive reach and drive, 8½ years old.

2. Martell/Woodgate-Ball’s Caldonbeck Winter Soldier - Border Collie. 8½ year old male, lively on the day and very impressive on the move, a credit to the breed but met strong competition from 1 on the day.

BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG

J 1(0)

1. Copeland’s Kernow Dollar Promises at Maxjabar. 14 month old male, strong masculine head, keen expression, well angulated with a strong top-line, a touch extra length in loin for my preference but proved to have an easy parallel gait, BOB.

PG 1(0)

1. Copeland’s Trudaleaze He’s Fab You Lous at Maxjabar. 2½ year old male, correct overall proportions but not quite the drive from behind as that of 1.

TIBETAN MASTIFF

O 4(3)

1. Conway’s Thamche Sashi. This is a 6 month old Tibetan Mastiff, very chilled bitch, nice balance when viewed in profile, parallel movement on the out and back, nice prospect with practise, BOB & BP.
