RUGBY & DISTRICT CANINE SOCIETY – Open Show Held on: Saturday 8th OCTOBER 2022

I would like to thanks the committee for the invitation to judge at this well-run show. The entry was down from other years. This may be the future as the income crisis bites none of us have as much income to keep our hobby going. Having said that I was happy with the over-all quality present today. Well done to all for the entry.

NEWFOUNDLAND J D/B (2,0), 1. Miss M. Bull, Sandbears What Ya Fancy At Ravenshore: A 17mth old bitch, sound mover, very nice type, well balanced head, clean neck, good back, good angles front and rear. Pleased to award her BOB and later Working Grp 3. Well done.    2. Burton, Mr. R.C. & Miss J., Ceedernewf In The Forest: This girl is a bit younger at 15mths and just a little smaller than 1st but is a nice-looking bitch, good type and out-line, her head is just a little smaller but is still balanced. Was just let down on movement. Needs time to settle. Res.BOB.     PG D/B (1,0), 1. Miss M. Bull, Sandbears What Ya Fancy At Ravenshore: As above.     O D/B (1,0), 1. Miss M. AVNSC WORKING J D/B (3,1), 1. Miss D.E. Seward, Elleonia Unbreakable Heart: Siberian Husky. A 16mth old dog, well up to size and is of a nice type and nice out-line. He has a well-balanced head with a good eye and ear set. Good length of neck, neat front and brisket, nice back and neat angles to rear. Good tail set and strong hocks. He was shown in good coat and moved out well around the ring. Well pleased to award him Res. BOB.      2. Miss D.E. Seward, Elleonia Whisper In The Dark: Siberian Husky. Litter sister to 1st also has nice angles to front and rear. But did not seem that keen on showing. Never mind, may settle with time.     PG D/B (6,3), 1. Mrs. K. Tinker, Veloce Ludovico Schagya Polonia At Lolotea, (Imp. Pol.): Siberian Husky dog that is just under 3yrs of age he is of a pleasing type with a pleasing out-line. Shaded in colour, his head is well balanced for size, good eyes and ear set. Strong neck with good angles to front and rear. Nice top-line and good body. He was steady on the moved and shown in nice coat.     2. Miss D.E. Seward, Elleonia Hear Me Now: Siberian Husky. A 16mth old bitch, still has some filling out to do, but is pleasing enough. Very feminine, nicely balanced throughout. Good angles throughout. Just needs to mature a little more. 3. Bratchie & Baillie, Miss C. & Mr. C., The Love And Hope Is Dvariskiu At Skookumbull, (Imp. LTU): An 18mth old Bullmastiff bitch that still needs to settle down. Just seemed a little nervous. Over-all she is of a nice type and out-line.     O D/B (4,1), 1. Mrs. K. Tinker, Multi. Ch. Zaltana Kiss My Paws At Lolota, JW, (Imp. Pol.): A 4yr old Siberian Husky dog, very sharp, of good type and out-line and well-balanced through-out. He has a good masculine head, excellent neck, good brisket and angles to front and rear. Strong back and good tail set. Super hocks which he used to his advantage powering around the ring. Pleased to award him BOB and Working Grp. 2.    2. Bratchie & Baillie, Miss C. & Mr. C., Essenceera Turn The Magic On At Skookumbull, JW: A Bull Mastiff dog that is nearly 4yrs of age. There is a lot to like about him, he is of a good size and showed off his virtues very well. Moved nicely across the ring.     3. Miss S.M. Atkins., Akna Peechee for Qimugta: A 7yr old bitch, Canadian Eskimo Dog, that was just beginning to show her age in her movement. Other than that, a pleasing bitch of good type and out-line.

WORKING GROUP: 1. Miss D.E. Seward, Teuschons The Fierce Knight With Elleonia: A Dobermann, dog aged 9mths. This youngster took my eye straight away, superb out-line and type, well balanced through-out, and just super on the move. Won this with ease and stood alone in the Puppy Group.     2. Mrs. K. Tinker, Multi. Ch. Zaltana Kiss My Paws At Lolota, JW, (Imp. Pol.): A 4yr old Siberian Husky as before.     3. Miss M. Bull, Sandbears What Ya Fancy At Ravenshore. Newfoundland as before.

WORKING PUPPY GROUP: 1. Miss D.E. Seward, Teuschons The Fierce Knight With Elleonia: A Dobermann, dog aged 9mths. As before.
