1st Griffin’s Griffial Make It Count – 7 month blue roan bitch, cleanly chiselled head with a square muzzle while remaining feminine. Cat-like, tight feet with good bone. Balanced angulation and well sprung ribs. Moved well in all angles. Best Puppy
2nd Hutton-Baber’s Esqueen I’m Iconic at Babtonkelpie (Imp Pol) NAF – 6 months black & white bitch. Broader in skull and muzzle than my winner. Well-balanced and compact with tight feet. Dark, bright eye and ears set low. When she did concentrate on her movement, she was free striding and true.

1st Anderson & Foster’s Zakova Baloo Moonshine at Sabaloo – 13-month blue roan bitch who was just a little cracker. Loved her for her compact, sturdy structure. Pleasing expression with dark eye and low-set ears, with square muzzle and clean chiselling to her head. Strong neck leading to well-placed shoulders and good forechest. Well-developed chest and good depth of brisket. Moved well although her handler needs more practice to get even more from her, and I was pleased to see he had a crash course by the stakes class. Best of Breed
2nd Hutton-Baber’s Esqueen Following Star at Babtonkelpie (Imp Pol) NAF – 19 months blue roan bitch with a dark, round eye. Good bone and coby body. Didn’t have the development in chest of my winner, just feel she needs more time to mature.

1st Bavin & Austin’s Rojoys Chase The Dream JW ShCM – 7 year old blue roan bitch who defies her veteran years and moves true and light-footed with reach & drive. Good spring of rib and a nice amount of bone. Dark eye with square muzzle and refined head. Reserve Best of Breed
2nd Cassidy’s Manchela Speechless at Cassoz JW – 2 year old blue roan dog of good size and bone. Tight feet and moved well in profile and rear. Just lacked in forechest.

1st Tadhunter’s Taramount Pure Imagination – Spaniel (American Spaniel) – 7 month buff bitch who is superbly made. Muzzle broad, deep and square and well-developed nose. Skull broad with round, dark eye and long ears set low. Short, compact body with good angulation fore & aft and good ribs for age. Moved well once settled, covering ground with smooth and effortless strides. Best Puppy
2nd Wilson’s Winhampton’s Pandoras Box – Spaniel (Clumber) – 10 month bitch long and strong in the body with a deep chest. Standing on large, round feet, with strong bone. Moved effortlessly around the ring with reach and drive. Head broad with steep stop and square muzzle.
3rd Pearse’s Jolicraft French Kiss - Spaniel (American Spaniel)

1st Weyman’s Spuffing Procecco - Spaniel (English Springer) – 15 month bitch who is full of quality, she just needs to finish maturing and get her coat back. Symmetrical, compact and strong throughout. Pleasing head and expression with bright eye and well chiselled below the eyes. Good bone and standing on tight, compact feet. Level topline with strong, short loin. Moved free and easy throughout the class.
2nd Braine’s Ansona Dream Big – Weimaraner – 16 month dog with lovely front angulation, good lay back to shoulder and return of upper arm. Broad skull and strong muzzle. Level topline, well-sprung ribs and deep chest. Firm, compact feet with well-arched toes.
3rd Baldry’s Llon Llanharran Lleuci - Spaniel (Welsh Springer)

1st Rowlinson’s Meltarose Midshipman - Spaniel (English Springer) – 3 year old coming into full maturity, he is a lovely lad in good coat. Soft expression with a strong muzzle and round eye. Tight feet, and amble bone, he is well made and good width of thigh. Moved well with lively action to the tail to complete the picture. Best AVNSC
2nd Revill & Monday’s Julita Ryveeta JW - Spaniel (Welsh Springer) – 4 year old bitch with a feminine, refined head with a slight dome to skull. Medium, round eyes and good ear shape and carriage. Balanced in angulation with sufficient forechest. Smooth, ground covering movement and tidy fore & aft. Round tight feet and good bone. Reserve Best AVNSC

1st Kaye, Bryne & Barclay’s Bryanelly Wood Among Nizzana – Portuguese Pointer – 4 year old dog shown in great condition, this is a lovely dog to go over. Broad skull and square muzzle with slightly pendulous flews and well-defined stop. Standing on oval feet and has good bone. Deep chest, short, broad back and short, strong loin. Gently sloping croup leading to tapering tail. Easy, elegant and rhythmic trotting action, while standing alone, well deserving of Best Import Register.

1st Crocker & Lewis’ Riverbrue Ophelia Winky – Irish Setter – This young male has some great foundations and depicts racy. Pleasing head, moderately long neck leading to well laid back shoulders. Deep chest with good spring of rib. Correct topline with a gentle slope from the withers. Wide & powerful hindquarters with good width of thigh. Free-flowing movement. I look forward to seeing him when fully matures. Best Puppy
2nd Scutcher’s Winsleywood Wild Jasmine - Retriever (Labrador) – Short coupled and strongly built, while retaining her femininity. Sweet head and dark eyes expressing intelligence. Well laid back shoulders and a good turn of stifle giving correct angulation. Good depth of chest with well-sprung barrel ribs. In good condition and she moved true front & rear and covers the ground in profile.

1st Strevens’ Tollisty You Can’t Decline - Retriever (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling) – Clean cut, slight wedge-shaped head. Strong neck of medium length leading to well laid back shoulders. Good bone and tight feet, level topline with good spring of rib. Good turn of stifle. Jaunty mover with reach and drive with tail carried up on the move to complete the picture along with good coat. 2nd Smith’s Tollisty Couldn’t Careless - Retriever (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling) – Little sister to 1, and prefer her for body proportions, but today she lacked coat and would prefer a little more bone to be picky. Lovely wedge-shaped head and ears set high. Short strong pasterns and tight feet. Level topline carried on the stand and move, with jaunty movement and reach & drive.

2nd Titterton’s Spyefire Reyt Bobby Dazzler – Irish Red & White Setter – 5 year old strong dog with broad head. Muscular neck leading to well laid back shoulders and strong, oval bone. Good depth of chest and well-sprung ribs with strong loin. Wide and powerful hindquarters and well-bent stifle. Moved OK today, but was playing up his handler.

2nd Rodemark’s Bonmac Twinkle Twinkle – Boxer – Screams nobility and square in build with strong bone. Her head was beautiful, arched skull and with the balance of muzzle which was broad, deep and powerful. Muscular neck and well angulated in forequarters and hindquarters. Deep chest and ribs well arched. Short loin and slightly sloping topline. On the move, she showed free striding reach and drive. Just 8 months, she has a bright future.
