Puppy (1)

1. Gray’s Zoldmali Bolero NAS TAS – 6 months old dog on his first show outing, broad skull with enough furnishing for his age, straight front, good lay of shoulders, body in proportion and nothing exaggerated. Moved well. BOB and BPIB.

Puppy (2)

1. Barnes’ Ambancy This is Me – 9 month old bitch feminine head, enough bone for her age, straight front with well laid back shoulders, chest deep with ample spring of rib, stifles well bent and hocks well let down. Just needs to settle on the move. BP

2. Bootland Ambancy Dancing Queeen – litter sister to the first and lacked her sisters overall body condition. Head balanced with kind expression, straight front and another that didn’t settle on the move.

Junior (1)

1. Jakins’ Coolfin Clancy - Masculine broad head, muscular neck, shoulders well laid back, deep chest with well sprung ribs, moved well, sound and true. Shown in good coat and condition BOB

Post Graduate (1)

1. Bootland’s Oldestone Aspects of Love – mother of the two puppies, very feminine bitch, straight front with good lay of shoulders, more prefer more rear angulation. Moved ok.

Open (1)

1. Catton & Cook’s Daithi Shadow Dog With Ferngate (IMP POL) – upstanding dog demonstrating a balance outline. Angulation correct front and rear, deep chest, good spring of rib, muscular hindquarters. Preferred the more balance head of the junior dog in the challenge for best of breed. RBOB

1. Booth’s Lungarth Everest- 10 month old pretty feminine bitch of lovely type, a shade finer all through than second, sweet head, clean elegant outline with tidy and precise movement, good tail carriage and tail used well on the move. BP

2. Horn & Vowell’s Droveborough Lincoln – b/w bitch built on a bigger frame and not the curves of the first, feminine head, long neck onto well laid back shoulders, deep chest with good spring of ribs. Not as settled on the move as the first

2. Norbury & Adams Heartbury Belacqua – liver and white bitch who I have judged before but today she was not happy in the surroundings and at no point did she lift her tail. Feminine head with kind expression, nothing overdone with a balanced outline stacked, deep in brisket and well sprung ribs, short coupled, good bone and feet, correct turn of stifle

Novice (4,2)

1. Booth’s Sharnphilly Ginger Fizz at Lungarth - full of breed type, pleasing outline, just enough bone, good feet, balanced throughout, good length of neck into well laid back shoulders, moved well. RBOB

2. Perren & Welsh’s Evaluna Chasing Rainbows With Hookwood – 8 month old black and white young bitch, different type to the class winner. Heavier in bone and would just prefer a better turn of stifle. Pleasing head and long clean neck. Needs to come together on the move.

Post Graduate (7,1)

1. Booth’s Sharnphilly Ginger Fizz at Lungarth

2. Brooksmith’s Nightgold Pipkin - Liver and white bitch, head balanced, straight front with good lay of shoulders, enough depth to her chest. Shown in hard muscular condition. Not as settled on the move as the first.

1. Hazeltine, Razzell, Spey, Oldfield & Lopez’ SH CH/AM CH Bookstor Fabello Kinky Boots - O/w bitch and one I have judged in her younger days. Typy and full of curves. Good head and neck into correct shoulders. Straight front with correct bone, good feet and slightly sloping pasterns, angulation correct front and rear. Presented a balance picture when stacked. Moved well. BOB and pleased to see her go GP3.

2. Horn & Vowell’s Droveborough Smooth Mover JW - Full up to size dog but nonetheless, he is balanced and has a pleasing outline. Mature in body, but still needs to settle on the move. Typical head with good chiselling, long clean neck, good shoulders, depth to his brisket.

Veteran (5,1)

1. Welsh’s IR SH CH Oxfordacres Trinity By Hookwood JW Sh CM – Black and white dog masculine head with good ear and eye set. Muscular neck, he has good front assembly with depth and spring of rib, good turn of stifle. Moved well.

2. Barham’s Kenwardgold Minnie Me – liver and white bitch, pleasing shape, deep chest, good spring of ribs, hocks well let down moved straight and true using her tail.
