Glen of Imaal Terrier

Thank you all for coming and Showcasing your wonderful breed.

Also two the BOB and BPIB for staying for the group as Glen's were first in the ring at 9am which is a long day particularly for a puppy.

I found all exhibits to be of high quality and the open class decision was close.

P:

1st, Hannington's Mo Stor Ailin of Tatlers Jacks Clann at Boudivella

6 months old Wheaten bitch with a nice clear coat and body proportions. Correctly sized for sex and age. Lovely headpiece and a nice clean scissor bite.

Shows good promise and walked very well especially in the group ring after a long day. (BPIB)

1st, Harley and Hardy's Amhard Peanut Brittle

3 Year old Blue bitch. It was a pleasure to go over here as she was in great condition with a strong neck and powerful inner thighs.

Strong head with a great mouth, level topline rising to loins. Good pigmentations of nose, eyes and nails (RBOB)

O:

1st, Hardy's Amhard Quick Fire

2 year old Wheaten dog with plenty of coat which was tipped red on top. Correct size on inspection, Powerful jaw and neck, excellent scissor bite, broad across the withers, firm body.

Walked well in the class and in the group. (BOB)

2nd, Harley's Abberann Running down a Dream at Donvaleset

4 1/2 year old Wheaten dog I liked a lot. Another with a really nice coat. A little ring rusty after a long Covid layoff. Good head with a nice expression, Deep chest

Active and agile, Large clean teeth however the winner had a slightly better bite which tipped the balance in a close call.
