Border Terrier

Three dogs from the same Kennel which were all of a high standard including a veteran that I did not judge but observed in the group.

Puppy:

1st Wright’s Totherend Honeybee (B)

A very promising young girl with of a nice size and frame. Nice head with correct ears and a good scissor bite. Good harsh G&T coat. Moved well for a minor puppy and again in the group (BPIB/PG2)

2nd Wrights Totherend Argus (D)

Litter brother to 1st so many of the attributes of his sister. Again very promising and being of a correct male size. Easily spannable with a great coat. Overall a very nice dog.

0pen

1stWright’s Totherend Greta Garbo (B)

Lovely 4 year old of a nice size. Feminine head with a keen expression. Good bite, neat ears.

A good bend of stifle. Nothing to dislike. Moved and showed well in the class and group (BOB/G4)

Jack Russell Terrier

First time I have judged this breed and I found it very interesting. Having studied them at shows and reading the breed standard it’s clear that there is some way to go to attain uniformity to attain a standard type in a breed. This will take time.

Puppy:

1st Kay’s Blazingjacks Best Mate at Jackopeaks (D)

Smart puppy of a good size. Alert and advanced for his age. I Liked the overall body shape. Good mouth, neat ears. Nice harsh jacket and moved very well BPIB

2nd Copping & Winnard’s Alice’s Dream at Rutaaro (B)

Another nice puppy, again of a nice size and construction. Very alert and lively.

Easily spanable. Would make a great worker. Just need to to be a little more settled in the ring which will come with age.

PG

1st Whiting’s Montravia Kit Kat to Rodale (B)

Bitch of a nice size, with a longer harsh coat. Alert, Good quarters, good bite, Moved solidly.

2nd Kay’s Jackopeaks This is Me (B)
