Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge, had a good day with the rain holding off despite the wind picking up which was causing a few issues. Ground was uneven and rough which I am sure did not help some of the dogs movement, on better ground I am sure some of the movement may have been better. However, this was beyond the committees control.

PBGV

Class 84 Puppy (1,0)

1st Miss K Moulding  - Nykarth Touch of Class(B) – Playful girl who is not sure if she is a PBGV or a kangaroo, very sweet disposition who when she is still is lovely in outline, correctly angulated front and rear and has a lovely movement when all 4 feet are on the floor and going forward. Head is slightly longer than muzzle and ears just short of the end of it. Correct dentition and scissor bite. BPIB & RBOB

Class 86 Open (1,0)

1st Miss K Moulding – Nykarth Quite the Surprise(B) – A very happy hound who moved well even on the rough ground. Good clean neck into well laid shoulders with upper arm of equal length which enables her correct movement. An understated bitch with a lovely eye and ear set. Scissor bite with correct dentition and not lacking under jaw. Level top line held well in stack and on the move. Good tight feet. BOB

Class 245 Special Yearling (5,1)

1st Mrs K Whiting & Mrs J & Mr G Grant – Tattersett Many Clouds at Ormstiga CJW 22, IR Jun CH (D) – lovely typey tri colour boy who is correctly angulated front and rear enabling him to cover the ground well driving from behind. Good bone and substance with good coat making the overall picture one of balance and elegance without coarseness.  Eye oval and ear set correct and close to cheek, scissor bite, good reach of neck. BOB & Group 3

2nd Mrs V & Miss K McLoughlin – Arabin Silver Panda (B) – well proportioned bitch with correct angulation front and rear, moved well but think the ground might have been causing her issues. Oval eye, ear correct shape and close to cheek, muzzle not snipy, head of good shape, clean neck into well laid shoulders. Good tight feet. Outmoved by the winner.

3rd Mrs L A Beasley – Wansleydale Mayflower (B)

Class 246 Limit (4,1)

1st Mr A J White – Paduan Nightingale (B) – Nice Orange Belton bitch, oval eye and correct ear set, clean neck, back level, well ribbed up, good bone. Correct tail set croup not too steep as some were today. Good feet. Moved OK over the ground to take RBOB

2nd Mrs L A Beasey – Wansleydale Amaretto (B) – Nice typey bitch with a good shape, not moving as well as I am sure she can on the ground today, good oval eye, clean neck into well laid shoulder. finer in type than winner.

3rd Mrs G Skeggs-Gooch – Tawnymead Thumbelina (B)

Class 247 Open (3,1)

1st Mrs G Skeggs-Gooch – Tawnymead Thumbelina (B) – 4th in Special Yearling and 3rd in Limit – Possibly hampered by her handler today, nice type but not moving as well behind today as I would have liked, maybe the ground. Lovely head and eye, good clean neck into well laid shoulders. Went better in this class than previous classes but still not stacking well.

2nd Mrs K Whiting & Mrs J & Mr G Grant – Tattersett Frankel’s Storm at Ormsitga (B) – really not liking the ground today which was causing issues to her movement. Not really driving enough from behind though her good rear angulation would suggest she can. Good head and eye, correct ear set, nice coat, well maintained. Preferred movement of winner today.
