I was spoilt today with a lovely quality entry.

Special Yearling (6,1)

1st Chamber’s Hototo Pretty Ballerina. What a super young lady with a beautiful outline. 8month B with a classic head atop a clean neck that flows into well laid shoulders with good return of upper arm. Good forechest, straight front with neat feet. Level topline over correctly sprung ribs of good depth. Well angulated rear used to stride elegantly round the ring with a level wagging tail. Will watch her with interest. BP and lovely to hear she went to win the Puppy Group.

2nd Youens’ Riverglide Secret Reprieve 15mth D. Another lovely youngster, masculine with correct head, clean neck to well made forequarters, good bone and feet. Correct spring and depth of rib under a level topline to a well set tail. Nice rear angles. Would like to see him stride out more on the move.

1st Gardiner’s Bitcon Taylor Made for Svenjak. This 3yr won a close battle of these two very nice Bitches. Lovely outline, feminine head with correct shape and planes, clean neck into well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm and nice forechest. Level topline and well set tail and carriage. Super mover who excels behind. RBOB

2nd Wilson’s Hameldowntor Music Of The Night (Imp). 5yr B. Another quality B, slightly larger frame than 1st and well balanced. Feminine through head, well made forequarters, good bone and neat feet. Correct level topline and well set & carried tail. Not quite the forechest of the winner and not as positive on the move.

Another nice trio

1st Romeo-Dieste’s Hopevalley Morning Rainbow JW. Really liked this 4yr old B. Lovely size and shape. Correct head shape, feminine with lovely eyes. Super forequarters, well laid shoulders and return of upper arm, good forechest, nice bone and neatest of feet. Level topline to well set tail over well sprung ribs of good depth. Well angled and well muscled rear. Drives round the ring with ease. BOB, such a shame she couldn’t stay for the group.

2nd Salt’s Levelmoor Acorn Antiques via Wetnoses. 3yr B and another of good type. Correct head, beautifully made forequarters with good forechest, correct spring and depth of rib under a level topline. Well muscled and correctly angulated rear quarters with a well set tail. Moved with drive.

3rd Pingree’s Calzeat Gentleman’s Agreement to Heatheridge (Imp Swe) JW

1st Weyman’s Spuffing Prosecco. Loved the size, shape & balanced outline of this young 9mth Liver & White B. Soft feminine head of good shape with dark eyes & well set ears. Lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders, good bone and feet. Level topline over correctly sprung ribs. Good rear angles. Steady mover with reach and drive. BP & RBOB

2nd Ainsley, Nicklin & Gardiner’s Barecho Cover Girl (Imp Swe) NAF TAF 7mth Liver & White. Different shape to my winner, a little taller and shorter in body. Pleasing head with well set ears. Good forequarters but not the forechest of 1st. Level back with correct spring and depth of rib. Lacking rear angles, moved true.

1st Simmons’ Dexbenella Frivolity. 2yr Liver & White B. Liked her overall shape. Pleasing head with a light hazel eye. Well made through neck and shoulders with good bone and feet. Correct spring and depth of rib, level topline through to a well made rear. Moved ok but needs to stride out more.

1st Cokell’s Carlyquinn Kisses Of Fire JW. 3yr Liver & White B. Lovely head and expression, dark hazel eyes and well set ears. Clean through neck to well made forequarters and nice forechest, straight well boned front legs with neat feet. Correct spring and depth of rib under a level topline to a well muscled and well made rear. Super mover, stylish & true with drive. Looking a picture today carrying a good coat with lovely feathering. BOB and pleased to hear she went on to win Group 3.

1st Remington’s Rozamie Black Pearl. A naughty 11mth black B. Lovely head and eye, clean neck into well laid shoulders. Straight front with correct amount of bone and neat feet. Correct body shape and proportions, good depth and spring of rib for age. Level topline to well set tail.Moves with drive. Handler needs to remember not to overstretch her on the table. BP & RBOB

2nd Kitchen’s Annilann Bhama Mama TAF. 15mth Blue Roan B. A different shape to 1. Shorter though body which makes her very square. Feminine head of good shape, well laid shoulders but I would like more forechest. Topline drops away to rear which is well made. Moved well.

1st Clifford’s Wyncastle’s French Quarter Smash with Chamford HJCH (Imp Hun). 2yr Blue Roan D. Very nice boy of good size and shape. Head of good shape and proportions with lovely dark eye. Clean neck into well made forequarters with good forechest. Straight front with nice amount of bone with neat feet. Level topline to a well angled rear, super mover. BOB

1st Adam’s Kacela Sweet Zuri. What a sweetie. Very feminine 15mth B with pleasing outline. Clean through head with soft expression and good length of neck through to well muscled and well made forequarters. Neat feet. Well muscled rear. Steady mover.

1st Stanley’s Jomeel Now I’m Here. 3yr B of good shape, size and type. Feminine head of good proportion, clean neck into well laid should and good forechest. Correct spring and depth of rib. Well muscled all through to her well angled rear. Moved true with good drive.

So close between these two. Subtly different but so many nice points on both of them.

Both presenting good outlines. Both have super forequarters with straight fronts, good bone and neat feet, level toplines & well angled rear quarters. Both move true and drove round the ring.

Just preferred the head shape and muzzle of the winner.

1st Morris & Randall’s Kalimor Dottie. 8mth B. Oh my, what a stunner with clean flowing lines and a classic outline. Feminine head of good length with correct shape and proportions, clean through neck. She excels in forequarters, well laid shoulders, good depth of brisket and forechest, straight front. Level topline over well sprung ribs that extend back to give the correct length of body. Moderately angled rear and muscle developing. Typical puppy on the move, enjoying herself but so full of quality she could not be denied the win. BP and later Puppy Group 4

2nd Martin’s Deifstock Déjà vu for Teufel. 14mth D. Masculine boy, good head and neck, well made forequarters and straight front, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Moderate rear. Lovely true mover with drive.

Correct spring and depth of rib and well ribbed back to create correct length of body. Level topline through to correctly angulated rear. Lovely fluid, driving mover. RBOB

Easy mover with drive. BOB

Clean neck to super, well muscled forequarters, well laid shoulders and good forechest, correct depth and spring of rib. Straight front, good bone and neat feet. Straight topline to set set tail. Muscular hindquarters with good angles. Free easy mover with drive. Definitely ever so special. BP and later Puppy Group 1

2nd Bromwich’s Rafthouse Kickback. 14mth D. Masculine boy with good head shape, clean through neck into well made forequarters, straight front with good bone and neat feet. Correct topline over deep correctly sprung ribs. A little lacking in rear angulation and tail curled too tight for me. Moved well.

1st. Webb’s Multi/Int Ch Shalissa’s Siriusly Costly (AI) JW Bel Jun Ch ISTRA W21. What a super 5yr D. Mature, full of type and substance. Stunning masculine head of good shape with dark eyes. Muscular neck into super forequarters with well laid shoulders, good forechest and a well boned straight front with neat feet. Deep ribs, well spring and good depth of loin., Very nice rear angles, super true, powerful, driving mover. BOB and Group 4

2nd Sharp’s Martifers Keep The Faith. Another lovely D. 3yrs old, good shape and size, a touch longer in body than the winner. Good through head with dark eyes, well made forequarters with straight, well boned front. Good rear angles. Lovely rear movement but not as tidy in front as my winner. RBOB

Gp1 Bratchie & Baillie’s Essenceera Turn The Magic On At Skookumbull JW – Bullmastiff.

What a stunner, this 17mth fawn D. Head broad and deep of good proportions. Super forequarters, well laid shoulders over deep well sprung ribs and a super straight front with good bone. Well muscled rear and excels on the move and just didn’t put a foot wrong. A pleasure to award him the group.

Lovely 2 year old B, liked her style and outline. Good head with flat skull, good depth and breadth to muzzle and dark eyes. Muscular well laid shoulders good bone, deep chest and spring of rib. Well muscled hindquarters. Moved with ease and drive.

Puppy Gp2 Green’s Waldershelf Gin And Tonic – Bernese Mountain Dog. Who doesn’t love a Gin & Tonic? And this one is particularly nice. 11mths and so well put together. Lovely head, swell made forequarters, good bone, lovely depth and spring of rib. Super rear quarters and a steady mover. Hopefully a bright future.

Puppy Gp3 MacDonald’s Spoutnik Du Temple D’Haoma for Chedham NAF – St Bernard. Such a baby at only just 6 months but this young dog catches your eye. Lovely head and expression, well made and so steady on the move.

Puppy Gp4 Evan’s Makaevo Solista – Neapolitan Mastiff. Another baby at 10mths. For such a large breed he is so together. Well made and lovely to go over. Impressed on the move.
