Vale Of Clwyd Canine Society

GREAT DANE

O 3(1)

1. Abbott’s Nikami Leap of Romance. Fawn male, good feet and front, masculine head, lovely arch of neck, good croup and overall balance, moved well, BOB.

2. Draysey’s Jaemluk’s Remy of Clunton. Black male, a little overdone in head for me, well muscled and good bone, just lacked the angulation of 1, nice croup, didn’t move as well.

NEWFOUNDLAND

PG 3(2)

1. Plant’s Barracechi Romani Charm for Shadann (AI). 18 months, still a baby, lovely head, good angulation, head and expression, good feet, excellent croup and moved nicely in profile.

O 3(1)

1. Austin’s Baranova Big Bopper of Elbear JW ShCM. Veteran, shown in excellent condition, good croup, stifle and nicely muscled, very stylish, BOB.

2. Lloyd’s Excalibur’s Lady Of The Lake Newfoundlandhills (imp ITA). Well put together, just lacked the appeal of 1 for me but still has time.

RETRIEVER (LABRADOR)

PG 3(1)

1. Greenwood’s Harrop Pipe Dreamer. Chocolate, good bone and overall balance at the minute, very waggy! Good proportions and feet, just happy to be alive! BOB.

2. Jones’ Lembas Tiana at Serenjar. Still very immature, shorter in croup and forward reach than 1 but lovely character, still needs time.

O 2(0)

1. Manning’s Overmarsh Take Five. Good overall balance, good bone and nicely muscled, moved well but would have preferred to see better reach.

2. Jones’ Willowrush Kersey Dusk at Serenjar. Really liked this girl but a bit too exuberant to assess, couldn’t hold her top-line today but I do think with improved condition could do well.

RETRIEVER (GOLDEN)

P 2(0)

1. Millington’s Golmas Guard Of Honour at Jarabees JW. 11months old, correct bone, nicely balanced, lovely profile, nice croup and standing on sound feet, just a bit more together than 2 in movement, good in profile and on the out and back, BP.

2. Plevin’s Bowshella All Fired Up. 11 months old and very promising, excellent feet, just knuckling over a little bit so needs to finish off, moved well in profile, needs to tighten up going away.

J 3(0)

1. Munro’s Alibren Ready Teddy. Very well muscled at 13 months, just a bit more together than the rest of the class, excellent croup and angulation and covered the ground well in profile.

2. Pickup’s Blenstone Yellow Topaz. Very nice bitch, just needs a bit more confidence, excellent expression and very pleasing head.

3. Williams’ Cesarka Sea Shanty.

PG 6(1)

1. Husbands’ Chisleay Chase The Dream. Nice overall balance, not too overdone, good croup and feet, pleasing expression and moved well.

2. Pickup’s Blenstone Yellow Topaz. This was getting better by the class!

3. Williams’ Cesarka Sea Shanty.

O 9(2)

1. Millington’s Carneval of Golden Duck-Cobey at Jarabees (imp SRB). Male, adequate bone, good feet and excellent muscle, nice croup and moved lovely in profile, really liked head and expression, BOB.

2. Pickup’s Blenstone Yellow Topaz. A list of ‘twos’ for this exhibit but I do think she was getting better by the class.

3. Parry’s Mitcharoon Kentucky Road.

SPANIEL (FIELD)

O 3(1)

1. Moore’s Elgert Sweet Little Lies at Gadhelic. 7 year old but nicely balanced and moved well, good croup and in excellent condition with fit feet, BOB.

2. Bowley’s U R Gorgeous Vom Blauer at Valdine (imp). 2 years and really promising, just lacking the confidence of 1, good bone, would prefer shorter nails, really lovely expression.

SPANIEL (WELSH SPRINGER)

P 2(0)

1. Moore’s Kidenoan Mark That Bird. Lovely compact bitch, pleasing head, 8 months and nicely understated, good croup and well muscled and moved really well in profile, BP.

2. Lewis’ Kidenoan Mark Up Von Trannon. 8 months, very promising, just a bit aware today but really good prospect. Note to handler: the dog was strung up just a little too much in front and shown looking up to the handler which accentuated a straighter front therefore didn’t have the reach of 1.

J 1(0)

1. Danks-Kemish’s Ferndel Dream On (AI). Nice overall outline with fit feet, well muscled, lovely dark eye, balanced head and good reach on the move, BOB.

O 1(0)

1. Moore’s Kidenoan Second Flute. A touch wide in front but well muscled and adequate bone, pleasing head and expression, just didn’t show the required forward reach.

IRISH SETTER

PG 5(1)

1. Danks-Kemish’s Copper’s Welcome To The Party at Alolfrana (imp SWE). Well muscled, good croup and well handled and presented, good reach of neck and good condition throughout, free flowing action on the move, BOB.

2. Cohen’s Lynwood Merry May King with Shushana. Would prefer fitter feet but a close call for the class, nice head with adequate croup, just pipped by the overall condition of 1.

3. Corless’ Swiftlark Invincible.

O 4(1)

1. Corless’ Swiftlark Illustrious. Good bone, balance and nice head, moved steady and in adequate condition, would have preferred more croup.

2. Danks-Kemish’s Rappatty Star Light Over Alolfrana JW ShCM. Would prefer fitter feet but overall good balance, was moved a little too quickly.

3. Corless’ Swiftlark Invincible.

POINTER

PG 2(0)

1. Collins’ Collholme Balthasar. Good overall balance, pleasing head, well muscled and moved well in profile, BOB.

2. Duncan’s Lithespirit Karens Comet. 17 months, very much a baby, nicely balanced and pleasing disposition, would prefer to be carrying a bit more weight but understand, at this age, it’s a challenge in itself to keep weight on Pointers.

O 2(0)

1. Collins’ Collholme Angelique. Typical head and expression and good prospect overall, moved well in profile.

2. Roberts’ Kanix Othello. For me, not his head his fortune, but shown in excellent muscled condition, moved well in profile.

GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER

O 3(2)

1. Stopforth/Squire’s Taftazini Jenu Wynn. Would prefer more feminine head, nice dark eye, good croup and shown in well muscled condition, moved overall, BOB.

AVNSC GUNDOG

P 2(0)

1. Jones’ Venatordream Lille (HWV). A bit more together than the 2nd place, balanced and nicely muscled and very together at the moment.

2. Bradbury/Preston’s Harasteorra Big Bear (Spaniel (Sussex)). This puppy was too cute for its own good! good feet and a little bum high at the moment but lovely disposition and I really will watch this puppy with interest because I do think it has a promising future ahead.

J 2(1)

1. Jones’ Arrowbien Gin King (Spaniel (American)). Presented in immaculate condition, would prefer more muscle but balanced and stylish on the move.

PG 4(3)

1. Smith/Fazenfield’s Konigsbracci Pavey Ark (Bracco Italiano). Good bone, almost 2 years old, adequate head planes and good overall balance however he was enamoured with something outside the ring which caused a lack of focus whilst the handler was trying to move him.

O 4(3)

1. Almanza Ain’t Nobody’s Business at Rhiewvalley (imp SWE) (Retriever (Flat Coated)). Good bone, pleasing head and croup, well muscled and covered the ground well in profile, BAVNSC.

2. Smith/Fazenfield’s Konigsbracci Pavey Ark (Bracco Italiano). More settled in this class than the last but still not focused on the job in hand.

AV IMPORTED REGISTER GUNDOG

O 1(0)

1. Davies’ Barbamore Starting On Monday. Really nice example of a Barbet with moderate bone, moved nicely in profile, good make and shape and attentive.
