Many thanks to the Committee of Bournemouth Canine Association for the kind invitation to judge at their new open show, and to all Exhibitors who entered their dogs, as well as my super Steward for organising the ring so efficiently. It was a very hot day therefore, understandably, there were a few dogs absent. We were given a lovely, big, in and out ring which gave Exhibitors a chance to hide in the shade while waiting for their turn.

PUPPY DOG OR BITCH (3, 2a)

1. Todd’s KELBADORA DREAM OF DREAMS WITH TODDROSA She stood on her own in this class, but nonetheless a quality girl with a beautiful, feminine head and correct eye shape, good ear set, dark pigment. Good reach of neck and level topline. Deep in chest with good length of leg and bend of stifle, matching front and rear angulation. She’s in no way overdone. Moved out well. BP

JUNIOR DOG OR BITCH (3, 2a)

1. Taylors’ Mrs & Mr ALIBREN ALDANITI AT TANNADICE Nearly 15 months old boy with a lovely, masculine and soft head. Super pigment and correct bite. Excellent reach of neck and well laid back shoulders, level topline. Excellent bone and good length of leg. Well ribbed, short coupled body, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Correct tailset. He moved out very well. RBOB

GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (6, 4a)

2. Magsons’ Mrs & Mr CASTLEGOLDEN CLASSY LASSY 2 year old cream bitch with a lovely, feminine head and super pigment, good reach of neck. She stood on straight legs with cat like feet and neat, short rear pasterns. Good front and rear angulation, level topline. She moved well with reach and drive, but I preferred the overall balance of one.

POST GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (4, 2a)

1. Taylors’ Mrs & Mr ALIBREN ALDANITI AT TANNADICE

2. Brewer’s STRADCOT COCONUT ICE This 3 year old bitch excelled in length of leg. Lovely head with good stop and correct length of muzzle. Good length of upper arm, layback of shoulder, good forechest, front and rear angulation. Lovely bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Level topline and correct set on of tail. I preferred the shorter coupling of one. Moved with reach and drive.

OPEN DOG (1, 0a)

1. Taylors’ Mrs & Mr ALIBREN ECCLES AT TANNADICE JW Mature boy with masculine head and kind expression, correct bite and earset. Well laid back shoulders, good forechest, matching front and rear angulation. Deep ribcage and short coupling, good turn of stifle, neat rear pasterns. Correct set on of tail and excellent topline. A Slightly distracted on the move today, but a very balanced boy overall.

OPEN BITCH (4, 1a)

What a super class of three lovely girls!

1. Magsons’ Mrs & Mr CASTLEGOLDEN CLASSY LADY JW This pretty, paler bitch certainly knows how to move and without a doubt she absolutely loves it. Such a well-made bitch with mature body and beautiful head. Super topline that she maintains while moving, good fore and aft angulation, good bone, forechest and lovely feet. Deep, mature, short coupled body. Without hesitation I was pleased to award her BOB.

2. Clarkes’ Mrs & Mr SUNNYOAK CHERRY BLOSSOM Another lovely girl in this class with an excellent reach of neck, flowing into well laid back shoulders. Good forechest, deep in body, short coupled. She stood on straight legs with good bone. Presented well in super coat. She moved out well, but she was very unlucky to meet the winner of the class.
