Cairn Terrier, Cesky Terrier and Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier

I would like to thank the Committee for inviting me to Judge at this most enjoyable Show. I would also like thank my Steward for keeping things running smoothly.

CAIRN TERRIER, Puppy, (1) 1, Saich CJ & LM’s Lindcoly Princess Alva NAF, 7 month Bitch, Good mouth, well proportioned head with good eye, good stop, neat ears, well ribbed, good topline, moved well once settled, good coat, BP. Sp Yearling, (4) 1, Purvis’ Springtime Rose At Mosspur, 20 month Bitch, well balanced, good mouth, lovely head with good stop, well placed ears, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, well made front, good rib, moved well going and in profile, held topline on the move, good coat, RBoB. 2, Saich K’s Lincoly Maleficent Mo, 12 month Bitch, not quite as mature as 1 but again, well balanced, good head, nice dark eye, enough neck, good spring of rib, held topline on the move, good coat. Limit, (4) 1, Saich AJ’s Lindcoly Ocean Dream, Well balanced 2 year old Bitch, well proportioned head with good mouth and neat ears, good front, well ribbed, good harsh coat, moved well holding topline, good tail carriage. 2, Purvis’ Mosspur Time And Again, 3 year old Dog, nice head, enough neck, less substance than 1, good coat, moved well. Open, (3) 1, Saich CJ and LM’s Lindcoly Singing Angel, 4 year old Bitch, well balanced head with good eye and correct ears, good reach of neck, good harsh coat, moved with drive maintaining topline, good tail carriage, BoB. 2, Tester’s Airytykes Excuse Me, well balanced 5 year old bitch, smaller build than 1, good head proportions, enough reach of neck, good coat, level topline, moved well.

Cesky Terrier, Puppy, (3) 1, Goundry’s Komidion Symphoniques At Sarminija, Well balanced 11 month Bitch, good mouth, well placed ears, good stop, well made front, good topline, moved well once settled, good tail carriage, BP & TPG3. 2, Fewings’ Komidion Schubert, 11 month Dog, litter mate to 1, larger build than 1 but still well balanced, similar head attributes, moved well maintaining topline, good tail carriage. Special Yearling, Williams & Jackson’s Wherrypoint Gladys (1), 1, 13 month Bitch, pleasing head with good mouth and ear carriage, good reach of neck, well made front, moved well maintaining topline, good tail carriage. Limit, (3), 1, Fewings’ Komidion Rhapsody In Ryme, Well made 3 year old Bitch, pleasing head with good mouth, neat ears, good reach of neck, well ribbed, moved well with good tail carriage. 2, Williams & Jackson’s Wherrypoint Horatio, 20 month Dog, rather unsettled, nice head and ears, good reach of neck, good front, moved well once settled. Open, (4), 1, England & Burrage’s CH Ashleyheaths Black Thunder ShCM ShCEx, I have judged this Dog before and at 9 years old he still manages to impress, lovely head with good eye and excelent mouth, good reach of neck with well muscled front, moved with drive and reach maintaining topline, good tail carriage, BoB & TG3. 2, Fewings’ Komidion Passionato, 6 year old Bitch, sired by 1 and unlucky to meet him today, has most of the attributes of the sire but just lost out on movement, RBoB.

Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Limit (1), 1, Barrett’s Saffini The Sweetest Taboo, Well balanced 16 month Bitch, lovely feminine head with good mouth and neat well placed ears, good reach of neck with well made front, well ribbed, mature coat for her age with good wheaten colour, good topline, moved with drive and grace as if she were floating around the ring, good tail carriage. BoB. Open, (1), 1, Barrett’s Saffini Shining Star, Well made 6 year old Dog, Good head proportions with well placed ears, good reach of neck, well muscled front, good topline, coat of good wheaten colour, slightly unsettled on the move, RBoB.
