My thanks go to the committee for the invitation to judge my first groups at open show level. Also, thank you to the exhibitors for your entries and for making the day enjoyable for me. Thank you also to the stewards for keeping the ring going.

Quality was in abundance throughout and really pleased with all my winners.

1stBurt’s Villanyda Flaming Hot with Aussiame (Imp Esp) Tri B. Lovely profile, with excellent shape to skull. Good muzzle, correct bite, clean stop. Ears set well. Well developed front, good feet. Lovely lay of shoulder, good depth of chest. Lovely length of back, Nicely coupled, tail set well. Well muscled at the rear. In amazing coat of good texture. Excelled on the move showing true drive. BOB

1st Rivers’ Orora’s French Silk at Merrimak 11 month B. Just loved her. Superb in profile. Maturing really nicely, Correct head, lovely muzzle, correct eye. Amazing front, good length of neck leading to good set of shoulder. Correct length of body, good for rib, strong loin, correct rear angles and muscled nicely. On the move is just super, showing amazing, correct movement. Coat in super condition and of lovely texture. BPIB, and absolutely demanded the puppy group. It would have been criminal to place this lady any lower than PG1 . Went on to RBPIS, I will watch this one as her career continues.

2nd Swales-Glasscoe & Carter’s Cheryshd One Golden Kiss at Hewanorra. 4 year male. Good profile, Lovely shape to head, correct muzzle and lovely eye shape. Good for skull and lovely neck, Ok in front, would prefer it a little tighter on the move. Good for length of body, nice loin, tail set well. Nice rear angles. Coat is good condition and presented well. Moved out ok, as said, would prefer a little straighter in front.

1st Jackson’s Bryonyhill Wizzard Wizzes to Crestasan. 4 year male. Very masculine throughout. Good for profile. Lovely head, correct teeth, good muzzle, lovely shape to eye, lovely skull. Good neck, well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest. Lovely front, good for bone. Has a lovely length of back with good strong loin, topline was super, tail set and carried well. Superb and well muscled at the rear, that showed in the super movement. Coat in good condition. BOB.

2nd Patterson’s Corimist Musical Soul at Eltimaris. 7 Year B and just lovely to go over. Has a lovely profile showing balance. Good in skull, showing correct dimensions. Good bite, Lovely shape to eye. Good neck and well placed shoulders. She has a clean front, good depth of chest and lovely topline. Rear angles are good and tail is set well. Coat in lovely condition. When moving was very typical, showing a really good stride.

1st Harrell’s Beaukitas Mcrory Park 17 month B and a very good one too, fits the breed standard to the T. Superb shape to head, has a good bite and lovely shape to eyes. Correct skull, ears set well and used to perfect the expression. Has a lovely clean neck into a good lay of shoulder. Good in front, really good for bone. Super depth of chest, correct topline, good coupling, tail is set well. Super rear angles and nice to see a Beauceron with good strong hocks. Good in really good condition with correct texture. Showing really well on the move. BOB & Group 4 in very good company.

1st Harrell’s Odysee De Sainte Petronille. Has a lovely profile, with good shape to head and good muzzle, good shape to eye, ears set well but had a tendency to fly them on this occasion which spoilt the expression slightly. Has a good front, superb feet, good chest and excellent rib set. Shoulders set well into a good topline. Good for rear angulation, well muscled. Good quality coat, have seen her move better previously. RBOB

1st Stenhouse’s Taranza Winter Eclipse. 7 month B B/W. lovely in profile, maturing at the correct rate. Has a very good shape to skull. Good muzzle, correct bite. Lovely eye, Ears set well, Good shoulder, lovely front, nice feet. Good depth of chest, lovely ribs, Well coupled. Good topline, and tail set and carried well. Well muscled at the rear, good angles, Coat in good condition. Very typy mover, really covering the ground effortlessly. BPIB and PG4

2nd Lusty’s Birkcross Simply the Zest for Blamorder. 10 month BW B. Another pup that was good to go over. Has a lovely skull and muzzle, good bite and lovely eye shape. Ears set well, used to advantage. Clean neck, nice shoulders and good in front. Has a good rib, good coupling and nice rear angles. Rear angles are correct and muscled well. Coat in good condition. Just preferred the movement of 1 on this occasion.

1st Hartfield’s Moshanta May Contain Nuts JW. 3.5 year male. An absolute lovely boy. Good to go over. Has a good profile. Very well balanced. Good shape to skull, good bite. Good stop, nice eyes, correct ear set. Lovely length of neck, good shoulders and front nice and neat. Has a good depth of chest and really good length of body. Nicely coupled, good rear angles, tail set correct and carried well. Coat in really good condition and presented well. A really good mover showing excellent drive. BOB and Group 2.

1st Sweet’s Arundall Ebony. Black B ..a good profile. 19 month bitch in top condition. I loved her shape and size in profile, show good balance. A lovely shape to head. Nice dark eyes of correct shape. Correct dentition, Correct set ears of good shape and carried well. Lovely front to her, good for bone, good feet. Well placed shoulders, correct depth to chest and well sprung ribs. Nicely coupled, Good rear angulation, really well muscled, good turn of stifle, well let down hocks. Tail set well and carried well on the move. In lovely coat which is in excellent condition. On the move she was free, effortless and really striding out.

2nd Jacobs-Pearce Arundall Mithra Very masculine in profile, again well balanced. Nice shape to head, dark eye, lovely lay of shoulder, good front, well set ribs, lovely depth of chest, nicely coupled. Has a lovely topline, tail set well. Movement was again good but was outmoved by the bitch on this occasion.

1st Jacobs – Pearce’s Salieri Heaven Knows at Arundall ShCM, Dam of the first two, This B ticked all the boxes. Lovely profile, presenting a love shape to her. Lovely shape head, good bite and well set ears. Good length to neck, well placed shoulders, lovely front. Nice depth of chest, nice topline and well angled rear. Tail set well. Coat in good condition and correct texture. Covering the ground well and really driving out from the rear. BOB

Good head dimensions with a lovely shape to muzzle and correct dentition. Lovely shape to eye, With well set ears of correct shape. Nice length to neck. Correct shoulders, nice front, well developed chest, Correct rib set, nice length to loin, good topline, tail set well. Coat in excellent condition with a nice texture to it. Moved out with reach and drive

2nd Flower’s Serenlas Pumpkin Spice. Very pretty sable B. A lovely head shape, with good muzzle, good teeth. Eyes of good shape and lovely colour, Good skull shape, well placed ears. Nice shape to neck, shoulders placed well. Good front, good for depth of chest. Tidy feet, good for bone. Well developed in rib, correct length of back, topline held well and tail was set correctly. Rear angles were good. A nice pup that was well presented and coat of good texture and colour. Moved out well showing good movement and really using the back end to drive. BPIB

Good chest, lovely front, good bone, correct angulations, good topline and nice length of back. Good strong loin. tail set well. Moved out well showing a typical stride. In good coat, another one well presented. BOB.

Body is nice & long without exaggeration and with correct proportions, lovely well shaped head, good teeth, Good shape muzzle and lovely eye shape and colour, Ears set well. Lovely neck into well placed shoulders, good front, nice feet. deep chest, good topline and well coupled, Good angles at the rear. Coat in excellent condition, a good mover showing nice drive.

2nd Treasure’s Lapinlumon Pilvipouta for Infindingo (Imp Swe). Just coming up for 9 years, This B is in very good condition. Has a good outline. Good shape to skull, classic wedge shape head, good dentition. Lovely eyes, ears correctly set. Good length of neck, well placed shoulder, good depth of chest. Good rib set, nicely coupled, good hind assembly, well muscled, coat in good condition with correct textures. Moved out well.

1st Rudd’s Infindingo Lintu Henkka. Have judged this boy a while ago and I liked him then, Im so glad maturity has done him well. Now 5 years old and is really showing well. Overall I like his masculinity, he is very much the male. He has a very typical wedged skull, lovely muzzle, good teeth, Correct eye, good ears used well to give him that typical expression. Lovely neck, excellent shoulder, good front, good feet. Lovely spring of rib, Good topline, tail set well. Good rear angles with excellent muscle. Coat in immaculate condition. Really well presented. A real good mover. BOB & G3

2nd Critchlow’s & Francis-Christie’s Pavoskas Cancan. 5 year B of good shape and in profile very typy. well balanced, feminine shape. A good shape to skull and muzzle, nice dentition, lovely eye of good shape. Good front, nice feet, and deep chest. Good shoulder placement, well sprung rib and good topline. Rear angles were correct and she is muscled well. Tail set and carried well. Another with a well presented coat in good condition. On the move showed a nice drive.

1st Shaw’s Astradine Kornishman JW ShCM. 6yo D A very well presented dog. A very masculine, but not overdone, profile. Good markings and texture to coat. A stunning shape to head with a good stop. Correct bite. Nice clean neck and shoulders, good front and nice neat feet. Good topline, nice spring of rib, well coupled, and good rear angles. Tail set well, strong pasterns front and back. On the move he was solid, determined and effortless, really flowed around the ring. BOB

2nd Shaw’s Astradine Knight Prince. Litter brother to 1. Slightly smaller in frame and similar notes do apply. This one was not so smoother on the move than his brother. But still has good muscle front and back and lovely shape to head. Coat in good condition.

Good shape to head and muzzle, clean bite, good eye shape, ears set well and used well to give correct expression. Nice lay of shoulder, good front, tidy feet. Nice depth of chest and good spring of rib. Well constructed rear angles and well muscled. Tail set well. Good on the move, a nice, effortless drive.

2nd Haensel’s Philhope Summer Time to Sherkarl. 13 month sable. Very pretty young lady just beaming with elegance. Maturing nicely for age. Nice in profile and well balanced clean outline. Good shape to head, nice muzzle, good teeth. Well in front and good for bone, nice feet, well placed shoulders and good rib set, Good chest, ribs set well, nicely coupled and good for rear movement. Coat was in excellent condition showing good texture. Another one with effortless, light movement

1st Haensel’s Philhope Summer Highlights at Sherkarl. 3 year sable bitch. Her profile just oozes charm and breed type. Her head shape is correct with a well defined stop and good strong foreface. Correct dentition. Nice shape to eyes which enhanced her darling expression. Neck of good length, good front, nice lay of shoulder, nice bone and good feet. Deep chest, nicely coupled, good rear angles and muscled throughout. Tail set correct, good length and carried appropriately. Coat in excellent condition and well presented. Moved with drive. BOB

2nd Eldridge’s Keltihope Wispa’s Girl at Petara. Sable tri B of nearly 5 years. Good proportions on this girl, a very well balanced bitch. Coat of good quality and presented well. Feminine throughout, a good shape head, good teeth, good pigmentation, good muzzle, eyes of correct shape and ears set up well. Good muscled neck, nice lay of shoulder. Nice front, well developed in chest and good top line. Nicely coupled, well off in rear angles and moved well. Coat in really good condition.

Good shape to head, good bite, lovely shape to eye and ears set well. A very neat tidy dog. Nice front, good set shoulders, deep chested, good length of body, good coupling and rear angulation was good. Showed well on the move. Coat in good quality. BOB

2nd Howe’s Pepperthyme on a Rainbow. 7 year bitch. Another lovely example of the breed. Lovely shape head, nice clean bite, good shape to eyes, well set ears, just a lovely expression. Good condition throughout. Good to go over, well balanced, nicely constructed with good angles. Coat in good condition. Moved well.

1st Langford’s Caprian Adrianna. Coming up for 10 month. This b/w B is maturing nicely. Put down in beautiful condition. Well presented, good shape to head, lovely eye set and colour, ears set well and of correct shape. Nice enough in neck, good front, shoulders placed well. Has a good topline and lovely length of body. Well angled at the back and tail set well. Coat in excellent condition. Moved out well showing confidence and good attitude. BP and PG2.

1st Siviter’s Faywaidd Spice. Have judged this bitch a few times now and have enjoyed seeing her mature beautifully. At 3.5 years old, She is very typy from that classy shape head to the lovely tail set. Has a typical shape head with good shape muzzle, good stop, lovely dark eyes and a lovely ear set. Her expression is wonderful. Has a lovely neck, good front, lovely depth of chest and good shoulder placement. Lovely topline, good length of body, nice angles in the rear, coat in good order with correct texture. A really super mover too. BOB

2nd Langford’s Caprian Challenger JW. 4 year old male. Lovely and masculine in profile. Well balanced. Lovely head, shape, nice size muzzle, together with his correct eyes giving that good typical expression. Good clean bite. Well set ears. Lovely strong neck, well placed shoulders, good topline, deep chest, well angulated rear and good for muscle tone. Coat in excellent condition, tail carried nicely. Strided out well.

2nd Frost, Frost-Treadwell & Walmsley’s Frostisen Blakk Zeta NAF, Norwegian Buhund. Coming up for 7 months, this black lady is a nice shape. Lovely profile showing balance, Has a very typical wedge shape head. Correct bite, lovely stop, good dark eye. Ears set well. Has a lovely neck and shoulders placed well. Nice tidy front, good feet. Lovely topline, correct set tail, nice rear angles. Good on the move. Just a little bit more confidence to finish the overall picture. BP PG3

1st Pilgrim’s Ch Domburg by Appointment at Woodbriar, BSD Terv. Just stunning in profile. This 5 year dog is really eyecatching. A well presented dog with good shape to head. Correct stop, lovely shape to his dark eyes. Ears set well. Good neck and correct place of shoulders. Correct front, nice feet. Lovely spring of rib, correct topline. Slight rise to croup and tail set well. Good for angulation in the rear and hocks well let down. On the move he is light and free. Really stood out in the group for group 1. I am told after this gives him his ShCEx congratulations and Then RBIS

2nd Thorne’s Belshamish New Sensation at Pyrajay, Pyr Mountain Dog. Presented beautifully. She shows a lovely balanced profile. A lovely shape to head, nice bite, good muzzle, correct eye, and ears set well. Well for bone, good shoulder, nice feet, good body, nice spring of rib, well coupled and good for length in body, Correct rear angles, double dewclaws present, tail set well. Nice mover showing good stride.

In profile, is showing a good shape, A lovely classic head shape, Good shape to muzzle, clean bite, good stop, a lovely eye shape, correct shaped ears, Nice neck into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, good ribs, nice length of back, good coupling, tail set well. Hind angulation is good, muscles developing well. Coat in good condition. A good mover. BIR Pup.

Good profile showing power, grace and balance, Correct shape to head with powerful muzzle and correct dentition, good stop, Nice eye, correct set ears, good length neck. Well angulated front and back, with tight compact feet. Good for bone. Good lay of shoulder, nice topline. Good rear angles, good stifle. Nice set to tail, moved out well showing effortless drive. 1st Cox’s Gertlush Nimueh for Rainwilds. Red with black mask. This bitch just had the edge as being more settled on the move. Nicely balanced, good in profile. Has a very typical head, Good bite, good strong muzzle. Eyes set well and of good shape. Nice skull with ears placed and used well. Good neck, Well placed shoulders and nice and tidy in the front. Deep chest, good spring of rib, good topline, strong in loin. Nice rear angles. On the move, when she had settled, showed excellent drive and power. BPIB PG3

2nd Horton’s Gertlush Polished Ebony. Brindle black mask. Similar notes, has a good head shape, with a nice front. Good shoulders, nice deep chest. Good topline. Tail set well. Again, just not as settled as sister on the move but does move well.

1st Popp & Myers’ Optimus Thomas Morse of Penychen. I literally said “oh my god” when this dog walked in. He just demands to be noticed. 2 year black mask faun dog. His profile is superb. Theres no exaggerations with him, and he is superbly muscled. Has a lovely correct head shape, nice muzzle with correct dentition. Nice stop, good eye shape. Good skull. Ears set well. Super neck, well placed shoulders, good front. Excellent depth of chest, good rib. Correct topline. Tail set well. Has really good rear angles with super muscle. On the move showed power and drive. No hesitation for group 1.

1st Massey & McGeoch’s Manzart Zebedee. A stunning 7 month dog. Bags of charm and a lot to like about him. So mature looking for his age and everything is just right. He has a wonderful profile, good skull shape, correct bite, good muzzle shape. Correct stop, eyes of good shape, ears set well. He has a lovely well muscled neck, well placed shoulders, nice and tidy in front and has lovely feet. Good depth of chest, correct gentle slope to topline, good ribs, nice tuck in the loin, Tail set well. Really good rear angles and good for muscle. On the move showed balance, drive and power. BP PG1 and I believe this win gets him his JW.

2nd Webb’s Shalissa’s Perfect Blend. 6 month bitch and another in good condition and maturing nicely. A pleasing head with excellent ratios of skull to muzzle. Good dentition, correct stop, lovely colour to eye. Excellent ear placement. Good length to neck, well placed shoulders. Good front, really nice deep chest, nice neat feet, Good topline, tail set well. Rear angles were nice. When moving, showed elegance and drive.

1st Pilgrim’s Swnydwr Snapchat at Woodbriar JW ShCEx OSW. 4.5 years bitch. What appealed to me about her was an overall picture of balance and elegance, nothing was over exaggerated, just a good honest bitch, beautiful shape to head, ears set well. Gorgeous neck and topline, nice front, good chest good rear angles, well muscled and maintaining her feminine side, moves out well, tail correct length and carried well. BOB & G3.

2nd Thorn’s Grafmaz Sergeant Pepper. Coming up for 3 years old. This dog has a lovely balanced profile. A stunning head of correct dimensions. Correct eye shape and colour, nice muzzle, clean bite, ears set well. Nice front, well placed shoulders, Correct top line. Good for length of body, Good bone. Well constructed front and rear and good muscle tone. Excellent coat condition. Moved well but lacked the enthusiasm of 1 on this occasion.

Excellent rib set, nice length of back, good topline, good loin, well coupled, good rear angles, muscled well. Tail set well and of good length. A beautiful coat of correct texture with correct markings, and in good condition. Really excelled on the move to win BOB and group 2.

1st Samantha Webster handling a Beagle. Showing well at all times, Samantha herself was well presented, polite and at all times aware of others in the ring as well as myself. Teeth shown well. Pattern work was correct with nice neat lines and turns whilst not breaking the dogs gait. Constantly praising her dog, which to me is paramount. Golden rule never broken and presented well at the end.

2nd Kittiana French handling a Pomeranian. Another good handler getting the most out of her dog, again Kittiana was well presented in herself but making the dog the focus. Presenting well on the table and showed the teeth correctly but with head slightly obscuring my view. Neat lines and good patterns, slight break in dogs gait whilst turning, presenting the dog well at the end. Another handler praising her dog.

1st Karen Plummer handling a Tibetan Terrier. Have judged Karen in handling many times and I am a big fan of her style. She presents herself well and the dog is also immaculately presented. Karen is polite and has plenty of ring awareness. She presents her dog well on the table, teeth are shown correctly and always praising the dog without going over the top with it. Lines were neat, patternwork carried out correctly and dog moved at the correct pace at all times.

2nd Marguerite McShane handling a Shetland Sheepdog. Free standing in handling is not always the easiest but Marguerite made it look effortless. Presenting the dog well at all times, her style really makes the dog the focus. Presenting her dog well on the table, teeth shown correctly and gently, another praising her dog all the time. Lines were clean and tidy, moving the dog well.
