Newark & District Canine Society

Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge and to my two stewards for keeping the ring flowing for me. Also to the exhibitors for a wonderful entry. All dogs across all the breeds were clean, no mats, no dirty teeth and well presented.

Bearded Collie

Puppy (7,1a)

A wonderful class to start with and thoroughly enjoyed this one. Such depth of type and quality.

1st Pedder’s Saint Laurent De Chester at Caldermist (Imp Fra) A very impressive dog just demanding to be noticed. In profile shows great balance and a lovely shape. Good shape to head, with excellent muzzle shape, correct dentition, lovely shape to eye of good colour. Good skull and ears set well. A lovely shape to neck leading into well placed shoulders. Good in front, well developed chest and good rib set. Lovely length of back, good topline, well coupled. Rear angles are correct and good for muscle. Tail set correctly and carried well. Coat of excellent quality and correct texture. On the move showed confidence with an effortless stride. A really nice pup. BPIB. Lovely to see him win the puppy group.

2nd Edwards’ Kelham Like Dreams Do at Roxilyn. Smart girl of excellent shape, A lovely head shape, with good muzzle, good teeth. Eyes of good shape and lovely colour, Good skull shape, well placed ears. Nice shape to neck, shoulders placed well. Good front, good for depth of chest. Tidy feet, good for bone. Well developed in rib, correct length of back, topline held well and tail was set correctly. Rear angles were good. Another pup that was well presented and coat of good texture and colour. Moved out well showing good movement and really using the back end to drive.

1st Canty’s Bargemon High Society. 13 month slate female and showing well. Very well balanced in profile. Body is nice & long without exaggeration and with correct proportions, lovely well shaped head, good teeth, Good shape muzzle and lovely eye shape and colour, Lovely neck into well placed shoulders, good front, nice feet. deep chest, good topline and well coupled, Good angles at the rear. Coat in excellent condition, another good mover when settled.

Post Graduate (5,1a)

1st Hollis’ Adjucet Tale as old as Time. A well balanced boy showing a very good masculine outline with no exaggerations. Good head dimensions with a lovely shape to muzzle and correct dentition. Lovely shape to eye, Another with well set ears of correct shape. Nice length to neck. Correct shoulders, nice front, well developed chest, Correct rib set, nice length to loin, good topline, tail set well. Coat in excellent condition with a nice texture to it. Moved out with reach and drive.

2nd Skinner & Beech’s Dychix The Rag Nymph. A lovely girl. Good for breed type, lovely feminine profile. Nice shape to head, good muzzle and nice dentition. Correct shape eye, Lovely neck. Good deep chest, lovely front, good bone, correct angulations, good topline and nice length of back. Good strong loin. tail set well. Moved out well showing a typical stride. In good coat, another one well presented

3rd Weightman’s Debbeacool Takes Two to Tango JW

1st Hollis’ Adjucet My Girl. Good in profile, nice and feminine throughout. Good shape to skull, nice colour to eye of correct shape, correct muzzle with good bite, well set ears, strong neck, well developed front, well placed shoulders, good for bone with nice feet. Excellent rib set, nice length of back, good topline, good loin, well coupled, good rear angles, muscled well. Tail set well and of good length. A beautiful coat of correct texture and in good condition. Really excelled on the move to win BOB.

2nd Robinson’s Thingamebob Shes a Star JW. Very feminine from top to toe. An impressive profile, well balanced. Excellent head shape, good length to skull and muzzle, clean bite. Good length to neck. A nice front, good shoulder, correct feet. Well sprung ribs, good top line. Good strong loin. Rear angles correct with good muscle. Another good mover showing excellent drive, coat in excellent condition. RBOB.

1st Saunders’ Tachnamdra Button Moon at Fernfrey. A nice tri girl of 10 months. Very up to size and maturing nicely. A good profile showing correct balance. Correct wedge shape to head, correct muzzle, lovely dark eye and ears set well and used to enhance her expression. Nicely made in front, nice depth of chest, lovely topline, tail set correctly. Nice feet. Coat in excellent condition showin correct textures. Rear angles are correct and she is muscled well. On the move she excels and strides out well. BPIB & RBOB

1st Deveson Milesend Sea Pearl A nice Sable and white girl coming up for 6 years. Presented in good coat. A nice shape to skull, good shape to eye, lovely muzzle, correct bite, well set ears showing a beautiful expression. Good shape to neck, well placed in shoulder, good spring of rib. Lovely topline held well. Nicely coupled, tail set correctly, rear anglulation was nice. Showing nice movement.

2nd Hounsell’s Myter Made of Magic. 2.5 year tri merle female. A well balanced profile. Nice shape to skull, Good strong bite. Neat, well set ears. Strong in neck, good for shoulder. Correct feet, Correct depth of chest and super topline. Strong in loin and correctly set tail. On the move she was just slighty erratic today.

3rd Borderpride Viva Las Vegas at Lodurr

1st Deveson’s Janetstown Je Suis JW ShCM. A lovely looking Sable & white girl of 7 years. A good shape in profile, well balanced, good quality texture to coat and coat in good condition. Good shape to head and muzzle, clean bite, good eye shape, ears set well and used to advantage. Nice lay of shoulder, good front, tidy feet. Nice depth of chest and good spring of rib. Good topline and nicely coupled. Well constructed rear angles. Good on the move, a nice, effortless drive. BOB

Good shape to skull, lovely eye of correct shape, well set ears, nice bite, strong neck, well for front, well placed shoulders, good for bone with nice feet. Excellent rib set, good topline, good loin, well coupled, good rear angles, muscled well. Tail set well and of good length. Moved out well showing real drive. BOB

1st Young’s Cocosamel Camelia. A really nice 7 month B and packed full of character. In profile, is showing a good shape, A lovely classic head shape, Good shape to muzzle, clean bite, good stop, a lovely eye shape, correct shaped ears used well to enhance that type expression. Nice neck into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, good ribs, nice length of back, good coupling, tail set well. Hind angulation is good, muscles developing well. Coat in excellent condition. On the move she is correct with good stride when settled. BPIB

2nd Lepley’s Sarnoushka Silver Spirit. 13 month B of good shape and in profile very typy. well balanced, feminine shape. A good shape to skull and muzzle, nice dentition, lovely eye of good shape. Good front, nice feet, and deep chest. Good on shoulder and good topline. Rear angles were correct and she is muscled well. Tail set and carried well. Another with a well presented coat in good condition. On the move showed a nice drive.

Post Graduate (1)

1st Gwynne’s Rosnorske Royal Ametrine. 2 year B. Well presented and in good condition. I liked her head, she had correct shape to it and good bite, well shaped muzzle and good skull. Lovely eyes and ears set and used well. Good in the front with well placed shoulders and well for bone. Nice level topline and good depth of chest and rib set well. Nicely coupled and good angulations to rear. Tail set well and carried correctly on the move. Good quality coat. Showing really nice drive on the move.

1st Johnson’s Nikara Sweet Dreams for Kimeekasams. 3 year old B. I loved her for her well balanced profile. Good head on her, correct skull, muzzle ratio, good pigmentation, well set ears and a gorgeous expression, well placed shoulders, lovely chest and good spring of ribs. Good feet, correct angles to front and back. Good top line, Nicely coupled, well set tail curled nicely over the back. Well muscled in rear and moving out with purpose. In good quality coat. Moving out really well. A very eye catching lady. BOB

2nd Gwynne’s Vandreem Imperial Katriona with Rosnorske. 4 year B and quite the eye catcher. Good for size, looks good in profile. A very feminine head and very typy, lovely set eyes and good shape to muzzle, Ears set well and used well to create that beautiful expression. Good front, correct lay of shoulder, nice depth of chest, Lovely topline which held nicely when moving. Well constructed with a good spring of rib. Nicely coupled with hind quarters well muscled and well angulated. Good tail set. On the move was good, showing a good free flowing drive. RBOB
