Strong 8mth dog with substance. He is balanced and shows good body proportions. His elbows are correctly placed with quality bone. He moved freely once settled. BP

1st Ward’s Laoirebay Glenashleagh From Copperwhite
I liked this girls profile standing but she didn’t make the most of herself. Feminine head and clean muzzle with good eye colour. Her shoulders are well placed and she is deep in chest. Her rear is moderately angulated with short hocks. She just needs a little more confidence.

Open (4, 2abs) Two difference types here.
1st Taylor’s Laoirebay Monte Carlo
Pleasing head and expression, he shows maturing in body with good depth and spring of rib with strong bone and tight feet. He was the more positive on the move today which was what won him the class. BOB
2nd Jakins’ Dut/Lux/BelCh Terne Des Coris Galimero at Coolfin JW (Imp Bel)
I preferred the head on this boy to 1. He has balanced angulation with good length of upper arm. His rear has good length and short hocks. On the move he was close going away and would benefit from a bigger ring.

I was asked to judge the remaining breeds as the scheduled judge was unable to complete the appointment. I wish him a speedy recovery and thank the exhibitors for accepting me as their replacement judge.

1st Taylor & Taylor’s Pelenrise All Guns Blazing
Lovely dog of just 7mths. Clean in head with naughty expression. He has a strong neck leading to good shoulder placement. He already shows balance in his body and good width to his loin. His rear is well developed and this showed in his smooth easy movement. BP, PG1 and delighted to hear he was BPIS! Congratulations.
2nd Angus’ Keigame Hvitserk of Sparkenhoe
Unlucky to meet 1, this boy is also very well balanced for his age. Lovely head and eye with correct length of neck and front. He just tended to drop his topline but this should firm up when he matures. Moved well.

1st Brown’s Winterwell Thatll Do For Desijem JW
I judged this bitch as a junior and I’m pleased to see she is developing on so well. She has a very typical head, clean and well proportioned with good eye colour. Her shoulders are well placed and with long upper arm. Her rib is deep and correctly sprung. Her rear angulation balances up her front which enables her to move with little effort, covering the ground with ease. BOB
2nd Peebles & Hammond’s Seasham The Groover
Of different type to 1, being more up on his leg, but still lots to like. Lovely clean head with intelligent expression. He is very well balanced front and rear and has strong width of loin. At the moment he is not as deep in chest as 1 and I feel he still has some maturing to do. Moved well but I would like to see him in a bigger ring where I think he would open up more.

1st Hawkes & Robinson’s Codnorhawk Brucie Bonus
Lovely head on this young boy. He has good length of neck and well laid shoulders. He is deep enough in rib and his rear is well turned. He was a little erratic on the move but this will come with training and experience.

Junior (6, 2abs)
1st O’Neill’s Tenshilling To Sir With Love
At 8mths this bitch is so together and well made she was difficult to look past. Her head is of good proportion with correct stop. Her slightly arched neck leads to her sloping shoulders. She has depth to her body and well turned stifles. On the move she was very together for one so young and went with drive. BP
2nd Stilgoe & Fox’s Teisgol Snow Queen
Of a more refined type to 1, she is still very well made. Balanced all through showing good proportions. Her profile movement was lovely to watch with a good open stride.
3rd Stilgoe’s Glenariff Mojito Over Teisgol

Open (5, 1abs) Two super dogs head this class and I was nit picking between them.
1st Philo’s Fydal Caprio at Salmonmist JW ShCM ShCEx
Fully mature dog with an impressive outline. He has a typical head with good eye shape and colour. His neck has a slight arch and flows, slightly sloping, all the way to his correctly set tail. He’s so well balanced in his angulation which provides accurate movement with drive when seen in profile. BOB and delighted to hear he was G1! I wasn’t surprised to be told afterwards that he is the father of the BP, he’s certainly prepotent!
2nd Oliver & Stilgoe’s Teisgol Love Is In The Air
I liked this boy a lot and very similar remarks apply. He also is very balanced with good front construction and corresponding rear, however I preferred the shoulders of 1 which was the deciding factor. He was another who was fluid on the move.

Sweet baby of 8mths with a pretty head and good eye. Adequate shoulder placement with good topline and tailset. She has excellent bone and good feet. She was happy on the move which was straight and true.

Junior (2, 1abs)
1st Thomas’ Bowdonia Truly Scrumptious
Attractive head with nice expression and ear set. She has a deep brisket and muscular loin with good tailset. Moved true on a good stride.

Open (2)
1st Woodward’s Hinxwood Fire And Ice
Mature bitch of lovely type. She has good lay of shoulder and good topline. Excellent bone and tight feet. She was in full coat and feathering. She was straight and true on the move which secured her the class & BOB
2nd Heathcote & Bourton’s Kamuntings Buzz Lightyear
Almost 2 years old this boy gave a lot away in maturity. Another with a pleasing head and eye. Ok shoulders and deep enough in rib. He moved well on a steady stride.
