PREMIER OPEN SHOW – Saturday, 21 May 2022

Thank you to the Committee for inviting me to judge at this interesting show. A small entry but found some quality dogs.

Chihuahua (Longcoat)

P (2) 1. Skinner’s Majerose Bobby’s Heart In Heaven (NAF). Small cream & white dog of 8 months who moved out with drive keeping a level topline and carrying a correct tail. Pleasing head with good dentition. 2. Platek’s Laptek Everything She Wants. Cream sable bitch of 11 months with nice head properties and large dark eyes. Moved around the ring ok but was not happy today so outline was spoilt. J (3) 1 & BOB. Lewis’ Tyssul Celebration. Dainty red and white bitch of 14 months who moved round the ring as if she owned it. Lovely expression, large dark eyes, correct ear set and good dentition. Has a good reach of neck and carries a level topline and correct tail. Pleased to award her BOB and to be informed later this win is her final JW point. 2 & BP. Platek’s Laptek All You Ever Wanted. Fawn & white dog of 11 months. Pleasing head properties with dark expressive eyes and good dentition. Covered the ground well with correct tail carriage and a level topline. Pleased to award him BP. 3. Skinner’s Majerose Simply The Best NAF.PG (6,2) 1. Skinner’s Tyssul Zafira At Majerose JW. Cream sable bitch of nice proportions, pretty head, good body, moved out well and showed happily. 2. Lewis’ Tyssul Carat Gold. Litter sister to junior/BOB winner, another red and white and my notes are very similar but this little bitch was not so happy today 3. Platek’s Laptek Simply Red.O (5,3) 1 & RBOB. Platek’s Tinasjoy Dark Destroyer. Cream sable dog with a pleasing head and kind expression with nice dark eyes. Strong front and good turn of stifle allowing free movement with drive. Pleased to award him RBOB. 2. Skinner’s Tyssul Awel Y Mynydd. Cream dog of nice size and shape who moved round the ring happily, just preferred expression of class winner.

Chihuahua (Smoothcoat)

P (1) 1, BPIB & BOB Milton’s Gestavo Party Lines TAF. Dainty, quality cream bitch of 9 months with a pleasing outline and pretty head with large expressive eyes and a good mouth. Moved out well once settled with a nice straight front, level topline, good turn of stifle and correct tail carriage. Happy to award her BP and BOB and later pleased to see her take 3rd in both the Group and Puppy Group. J (1) 1 Burgoyne’s Lady Ace of Diamonds. Cream bitch of 16 months who was a little nervous. Nice size and shape, pleasing expression, correct ear placement and moved out ok with a level topline and correct tail set. PG (1,1) Open (1) 1 & RBOB Taylor’s Arkoschi Diamond in the Ruff JW. Another cream bitch of ideal size and shape, who moved out well both ways carrying a level topline and a correct tail. Good head properties just preferred the expression of the puppy in the challenge.

Pomeranian

P (1,1) J (1,1)PG (4,1) 1 & RBOB Edward’s Megatoy Tobe Or Not Tobe. Cream sable dog with a nice typical foxy expression, small erect ears, compact well rounded body and moved out well. 2 DixonHardwick’s Altina’s Dennis The Menis At Aacharmoe. Black dog, smaller in stature than winner but otherwise my notes are very similar, would have preferred a slightly larger eye. 3 Sealey’s Megatoy Love Story. O (1) 1 & BOB DixonHardwick’s Aacharmoes Dazzles Reign. I did like this happy orange dog, he had a lovely expression with nice dark eyes, stood proudly with a good chest and compact body and a correct high set tail. Moved briskly coping well with the heat of the day.

Japanese Chin                                                                                                                                                                          PG (2) 1 & BOB Jackson’s Amantra Eiji. Small b/w dog with lovely expression with the typical quizzical look, good black pigment. Body square and cobby, carrying a silky coat in lovely condition, moved carrying tail correctly. 2. Morgan & Godwin’s Shardlow Koji. B/W dog slightly bigger than winner but balanced and moved out well. Kind expression. Presented well. O (1) 1 & RBOB Gamble’s Ossidcla Shiro. Another b/w dog, typical expression, good width of chest, moved out well carrying tail correctly.
