Beagles & Greyhounds

Beagle Puppy (3,1)

1. Leader’s Molesend Dice. Tan and white dog of 11 months. A compact and well-made puppy, very together for his age. Masculine head, if a little short in muzzle. Good outline and excellent hindquarters. Moved with a great stride, showing reach and drive, a firm topline and tail held correctly. BOB & BP.

2. Tofts’ Jarrowley Marlow. 6 month old broken tri dog. Beautiful head an expression, lovely neck leading into excellent forequarters. A little long in the body. Sound on the move showing a good stride but just needs time to come together and firm up in topline.

Beagle Post Graduate (1)

1. Tofts’ Jarrowley Larksrise. 3 year old tan and white bitch. Lovely quality and type. Super front, well filled chest and good spring to ribcage. A touch long in loin. Well balanced hindquarters. Unfortunately, her attention was elsewhere on the move making it quite difficult to assess her. RBOB.

1. Scoles’ Roanna Elite. 2 year old black and white bitch. Feminine and well-balanced. Head of good length and proportions, with good strength to jaw. Strong and long neck into good shoulders. Lovely top and underline. Moderate in angulation fore and aft. Good with to thigh. Moving soundly but could use some more drive.

Greyhound Open (2)

1. Samson’s Estet Classic Romance (Imp). 9 year old red fawn bitch. Upstanding bitch of generous proportions. Beautiful head, feminine with good length and a dark eye. Superb neck and front. Deep and capacious through the body with good length and strength to loin. A beautiful series of curves throughout presenting an excellent outline. Generous in angulation fore and aft. Condition and movement were so impressive for her age. BOB.

2. Sawyer’s Jaxx Teller at Stonelow. 8 year old blue and white dog. Undoubtedly masculine and another who was in excellent condition for their age. Masculine head with enough length, good strength to underjaw and neat ears. Plenty length to neck but could be slightly more refined. Good shoulders. Smooth in outline but could be curvier. Sound mover but could not match 1, moved better in the next class.

Greyhound Special Open Racing/Lure Coursing (4,1)

1. Scoles’ Nutts Corner. 4 year old black bitch. Ultra feminine with good balance and proportions. A lovely bitch with a curvy outline and a ‘racy’ look to her. Super head, neck and front. Could be more developed in ribcage. Moved with good width up and down and a lovely stride in profile. RBOB.
