Special Yearling

1. Steer-Eldridge Kakos The Happiest Days of Gwalltafwyn – 1 year old bitch. Reddish fawn and white. Level topline. Fluid movement. Body was a good length and she had the correct double coat. She had a good head that was in proportion and a good ear set.

2. Butler Calowych Moana at Baxilby – 16 month dog. Slate grey and white. He had a nice head and level topline. He moved well. He is a bit ‘in between’ at the moment in a way that is age appropriate.

Post Graduate

1. Emery Tybury’s Black Magic – 2 year old Dog. Grey slate. Happy boy well presented with good bone, good topline and lovely eyes. Moved well. Best of Breed.

1. Harrell Titan Des Ramparts Castels – 6 month Dog. Well behaved with a good outline. Double dew claws, Good Temperament and good movement. Shows great promise. Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Breed. Puppy Group 3

1. Harrell Beaukitas Mccrory Park – 19 months Bitch. Good coat and lovely waggy tail. Double dew claws. Pretty girl who enjoys showing.

Sadly only one present on the day – however I was not disappointed.

1. Wright Pelido Davod Weir VW – 10 years Dog. Moves without too much lift in a lovely efficient way belying his age. Red sable with a lovely head, beautiful dark almond eyes and lovely markings. His coat was correct, he had good bone and good feet. This dog is an absolute credit to the breed and I was delighted to judge him. Best of Breed

1. Treasure Infindigo Riemu Emmi ShCM VW – 10.5 year old bitch. Eye colour in keeping with the coat. Nice head shape with lovely markings, great outline, level topline, moves so well – and can go on and on. I never questioned her ability to do a day’s work and not only was she Best of Breed, she was Group 1, Best Pastoral Veteran and Best Veteran in Show.

2. Rudd Infindigo Lintu Henkka – 5 year old dog – who did not get past his Mother. I could tell they were related and he had a lovely head, good outline, was in great coat – he was not as tight on the move as his Mother today. Best Opposite Sex

1. Hill Wakematt’s Jinz – 6 months bitch. Good coat, good ears and eyes. Nice markings and went well for her level of experience. Best Puppy

2. Miles Bridgeview Hugo – 16mth Dog with a longer coat than first. He had a lovely outline, good ears and eyes. He had a nice topline, good markings and adequate bone.

Post Graduate

1. Hudson Sierre Athena – 2 years Bitch. Good outline, Steady mover. Bone ok. Markings ok and colour good. Settled on the move Best of Breed

2. Lemon Solophina Floyd at Mitzahner – 2.5 years Dog. Bone ok, outline ok, ears and feet good with handsome head. Not as settled on the move.

1. Hill Sonarly Derrick – 2 years dog. Nice outline with good reach and drive on the move. Good coat, head and eyes. Reserve Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex

2. Appleby Copybush Wednesday – 7years Dog. Lovely head and moved well – definitely the mature dog – moving slightly wide in front today.

3. Allison Sunny River Shannon – 6 year old Bitch Good coat and texture. Moved well.

1. Gruszka Japaro Timeleess Design for Samphrey – 3 year old Dog with nice outline, good topline, lovely ears and head shape. Nice dark almond eyes with good pigmentation. Moved steady. Best of Breed

1. Apperley Nracigroc Charlotte Jayne – 3 year old bitch. Nice feet, good front and developing well. Good markings could have a darker eye and more bone. Best Opposite Sex

1. Hollingworth Highashes Plan Bee – 13 month Bitch. Red and white. Good eye shape with broad skull and good shape to ears. Good pigmentation, good topline and moved steadily and with balance.

2. Dickenson Brynmay Star Explosion – 11 Month bitch. Red and white. Moved well with lovely coat. Could have darker eyes. Best Puppy

1. Hollingworth Ryslip Dolly Daydream at Highashes – 3 year old bitch Good shape, good length and outline. Moved well. Best of breed

2. Jones Ceranda Surf’s Up – 8 Years dog who enjoys his food. He had good pigmentation and moved well. I would have preferred him to carry a little less weight – he is a lovely boy. Best Opposite Sex

3. Warner – Meitza Erik the King JW – 5 year old dog. He had a lovely topline and was thoroughly enjoying himself. Would prefer a darker eye and tighter front.

Puppy

I liked all of the puppies in this class and felt spoilt for choice.

1. Jones Quemerford Magic Wish OES – 9 month old Bitch. So Square. Good coat and markings. Good pigmentation and moved so well. Best Puppy and Reserve Best Puppy in Show

2. Grant-Parkes Parabar Palanca Lancashire Heeler. 7 month old bitch. Level topline moved well, good markings and pigmentation. First show and completely took it in her stride.

3. Trimnell Kastobri Magical Dreamer – Briard. 11 month Bitch. Good colour and shape – bit of a live wire today. Moved well once settled.

Junior

1. Craker Fosterbrie Just Exquisite of Crakebrie Briard – 14 months dog. Moved so well. He epitimised Briard for me and won well in a competitive class. Best Opposite Sex

2. Wensley Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive Smooth Collie – 14 months dog. Slightly less together than 1. Level topline, good colour, good eyes, ears and tail. Would prefer more bone.

3. Grant-Parkes Parabar Paeonia – Lancashire Heeler. 13 Months bitch – at that very ‘in between’ stage. Level topline and good markings. Moved steadily.

Post Graduate

1. Wensley Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive – as above

2. Young Cocosamel Camelia Samoyed – 18 months bitch. Developing well. Good coat and nice dark eyes. Moving a little close behind today.

3. Seager Blamorder Scale Force – Smooth Collie 19 months Dog. Good markings and coat. Nice head moving a little wide behind today.

1. Strong and Clinton – CH Ohanaway Having a Blast at Mackjama Swedish Vallhund 2.5 years Dog. Handsome boy and very settled today. Good topline and outline, Nice Dark eyes. Cobby dog who looked like he could go all day. Best AVNSC and Group 2

2. Pointon and Woods – CH Vigilat’s Rapsody in Blue Via Bumblebob (IMP NLD) IR Junior Ch. OES. Lovely and square. Moved well once he was settled and this was where he lost out to 1. Great colour, shape, outline and I really liked him.

3. Young Cocosamel Misia Samoyed – 5.5 years bitch. Moved well and in good coat. Would have preferred a darker eye.

1. Treasure Infindigo Riemu Emmi ShCM 10 years Finnish Lapphund bitch see above. Best overall Veteran and later Best Veteran in Show

2. 2. Garland Tonkory Doyle JW ShCM VW 11 years Border Collie. Nice head, good bone, good topline and moved steadily.

Pastoral Group.

This was a lovely group and I could easily have placed 7 dogs.

1. Treasure Infindigo Riemu Emmi ShCM – Finnish Lapphund. Just kept on going on the move like she could work all day. Could not be denied.

2. Clinton and Strong – CH Ohanaway Having a Blast at Mackjama. Swedish Vallhund. Like the Lapphund just kept going and really gave her a run for it. –

3. Yu and Halliday Dolce Of xanadu’s Aria for Enzotica (IMP USA) NL J CH HCJW22 HCW 22 – Picardy Sheepdog. Moved well and consistently

4. Hollingsworth – Ryslip Dolly Daydream at Highashes – another who just kept moving.

Pastoral Puppy Group

So much to choose from I was spoilt for choice.

1. Jones Quemerford Magic Wish – OES. So settled and just so much potential. Outstanding puppy. Later Reserve Best Puppy in Show

2. Lester and Smith – Domburg Because it’s me. BSD Tervueren. Such a baby but what a sweetheart. Great outline, screams BSD at you and moved like a dream. Bit less settled than 1.

3. Harrell Titan Des Ramparts Castels – Beauceron. Settled well in the group and consistently moved well.

4. Hackney Trebons Berger Blanc Boo (IMP DNK) White Swiss Shepherd. Settled well and moved steadily in the goup
