Stafford & District Canine Society 24th September 2022

Dalmatian

Thank you to society for the invitation, it was a fantastic show ran by a newly formed committee, I was pleased to have a large ring and was well looked after throughout the day. Thank you to all exhibitors for coming and supporting each other with lots of applause.

Junior (3,2)

1st – Ms M Kembrey – Dalmark’s Banana-Rama, 13 month ideal sized liver bitch with a sweet expression, amber eyes and correct bite. Spotty face, moderate stop and well broken ears. Well laid shoulder and strong topline to correct tailset just off the back. Compact feet with good bone throughout, moved well in all directions and showed well for her handler who got the best out of her. Even distribution of spots, took the class on her balance and more settled in her movement today.

2nd Ms M Kembey – Dalmark’s Rhythm And Blues, liver dog, littermate to first and tough decision between them. Clean head, good bite and well held ears with slightly darker shade of liver colour. Good depth of chest and ribs carried well back. Two nice youngsters, lots time for this young male. Both exhibits in excellent condition.

Post Graduate (7,5)

1st Ms M Kembrey – Dalmark The Ash Blonde, 2 year old rich liver spotted bitch, spotty faced with a good length to her muzzle and moderate stop. Good width to her forechest and ribs carried well back. Well laid shoulder and moderate angulation throughout, tailset flowing off her back and clean moving from all directions, she holds herself well and maintained her topline standing and moving. Decoration well distributed and coat in great condition. She put a little more in when moving, demonstrating her reach and drive to take RBOB.

2nd Miss J Alcock – Kayjule Amber Lady At Dalspartan, another 2 year old liver bitch, again with correct rich liver spotting, built on a larger frame overall but lots of the same qualities. Feminine head with lovely amber eyes, clean around the mouth and well broken ears which were used well to frame her face. Elbows held close to body and good depth to brisket. Moderate angulation giving a balanced outline and moved well around the ring.

Open (6,3)

1st Mrs A & Mr M Finlay – Dvojica Excuse My French At Dalfin JW, 23 months, ideal sized black spotted bitch with excellent pigmentation throughout. Showing from the moment she entered the ring. Feminine head, enough stop and high set ears which are correct sized and carried well. Dark brown oval eyes giving her a bright expression. Nicely slightly arched neck into good shoulder placement, which lead onto straight forelegs with good spring at her pasterns. Lovely round feet with well maintained nails. Liked her overall size, and presented in fantastic condition with a glossy coat. Excellent width of rear with well defined hocks, good round bone showing strength but retaining her femininity. When moving maintained her topline and demonstrated powerful movement with correct tracking. BOB and pleased to see her take Group 4.

2nd Dr E & Mr W Sampson – Tyrodal Seven Of Nine At Dalstorm, 3 year old liver bitch, different type to 1 with stronger bone, but showing a pleasing outline all round. Very attentive to her handler and coped well with change of runners. Flat skull, medium size amber eyes, beautifully broken ears carried well and so focused on the job in hand. Clean neck into well fitting shoulders, ribs well sprung and carried well back. Another presented in fantastic body condition, she has a strong loin and great width to her rear. When moving maintains her topline and carries tail correctly with a slight upward curve.
