Shih Tzu

PG (3/1):

1. Smith’s Masserati Arssamandi Astarte Gold at Densown (Imp POL)– Red & White male who has a good head with correct large dark round eyes, a good muzzle and nose placement, correct skull shape. I liked his front construction and the broad chest, actually he was broad throughout with a level topline and a correct high tailset. A little more length of body would complete the picture. BOB, BP & PG3

2. Herring’s Quingshui Easter Surprise – 11m/o gold & white bitch, she also displayed good width throughout. She has a broad skull, good width of underjaw, eyes could be darker, correct length of body to height, a good topline & tailset. Preferred front legs of the winner and needs a little table training.

O (2/0):

1. Herring’s Quingshui Gingers Ninja – Red & white male, broad and correctly shaped ribcage, I liked his broad skull, good earset, correct dark round eyes. Would prefer more depth of chin. Good length of body, ribcage could however extend back a tad more, high set tail, in good coat and moved well with typical rear action. RBOB

2. Watts’ Matsha That’s Amore at Snugglebrook – Grey & white with a lovely tailset & carriage, presenting a typical overall balance. Correct mouth and dark round eye, skull lacks a little width and would like more breadth overall. Presented in good coat. Correct angulation.

Tibetan Terrier

PG (5/1):

1. Chamberlain’s Araki Shamana – B&W male, square and of correct size, good head proportions, correct scissor bite, good muzzle, medium neck flowing to a good lay of shoulders, correct depth of chest reaching down to the elbows, good ribcage, correct tailset & large flat feet to top it all off. BOB & G2

2. Honeywill’s Tegkei No Drama – a gold bitch of good substance & of correct size, I liked her square shape and overall balance. Good head proportions, correct bite, good depth of ribcage, good angulation and she moved well.

L (3/1):

1. Honeywill’s Araki Flick N’Flora at Tegkei – Gold & white 6y/o bitch with a lovely temperament, good head proportions, good eye, correct bite, good muzzle shape, correct moderate neck leading to well-placed shoulders and good return of upper-arm, the chest is well let down, good overall body shape, level topline and moved with good rear drive.

2. Chamberlain’s Araki Bitty Bobetty Betty – 6m/o B&W with a lovely square shape, already has a good depth of chest. I liked her front angulation and level topline. Good large dark eye, correct head proportions, good bite. Very promising as they say! BP

O (6/2):

1. Meakin’s Layoli Firecracker at Miksang – Black male, I liked his size & shape, good head proportions, correct neck, good angulation, straight topline & high tailset with good carriage. Correct depth of body to overall height, large flat feet and moved with typical gait.

2. Watkins’ Balesa A Touch Of Sass – Black girl with a lot of the same attributes as the winner, good bite, correct skull shape, good neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, correct overall shape.

AVNSC Utility

PG (4/1):

1. Heyes’ Ryuukita No Otome Go at Chillipaws – Japanese Akita Inu with a lovely feminine head & expression, correct almond eye shape, lovely earset, size & shape, good length of muzzle vs skull, correct broad & flat skull. Correct front angulation, good topline & tailset, moved well.

2. Moore’s Odivane A Sharp Dressed Man – 6m/o schnauzer male with a really lovely head and correct eye, correct and full bite. He has a good lay of shoulders, a correct length of body, good tailset. He moved better & better as the class went on, showing off his correct construction. Good coat texture. BP & PG4

O (3/2):

1. Bull & Warren’s Zaralee I’m Still Standing at Starferry (IMP IRE) – 2y/o Shar Pei, good compact shape with topline typically dipping slightly behind the shoulders and rising back up to a short & broad loin and a high tailset. Moderate angulation front & rear, correct amount of wrinkling on body, correct head shape with good eye, correct bite & typical bluish coloured mouth & tongue, could have slightly tighter flews to be hyper critical. Compact & tight feet. BOB & G4.

PG (1/0):

1. Cowie’s Sangrereal China Girl – 9m/0 coated Xoloitzcuintle bitch, good triangular head shape, medium round eyes, scissor bite, lovely open triangular ears. Good length of body being slightly longer than height at shoulders, level topline, moderate angulation. Hare feet. Lovely temperament. BOB & BP

1. Chamberlain’s Araki Shamana, Tibetan Terrier (repeat)

2. Prichard’s Ruption Knightcott Black Diamond at Violotta - Compact French Bulldog of good size, correct topline, good head and skull shape. Correct earset & carriage, good underjaw supporting a correct bite, correct nose placement, displays a few pleasing frowns when alert. I liked his front angulation and his correct tight feet.

Spec V (7-9 years) (8/3):

1. Rice’s CH Souska Devotion - Tibetan Spaniel lady of correct overall body shape, she has a good small skull, lovely earset & good eye shape. Correct mouth being slightly undershot, good hare feet, correct level topline, good tailset & carriage. Could do with a slightly more laid shoulder, but she moved well around the ring and presented in lovely condition. BVIG & delighted to see her go BVIS later on.

2. Bardsley’s CH Neradmik Ruby Slipper for Skathki - Almost 8y/o keeshond girl, small & feminine, good muzzle, correct almond eyes, good ear shape & set. She has correct angulation front & rear, tight cat feet and moves efficiently. Presented in good coat.

Spec V (10+ years) (4/1):

1. Edens’ Dalens Hot Gossip JW ShCM ShCEx - Dalmatian male with a lovely head shape, good eye, lean muzzle, correct scissor bite, lovely earset, good reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, straight forelegs, good topline, correct body length, chest well let down to tight elbows, moves well and good tailset & carriage.

2. Quest’s CH Chenrenzi Keeper of Dreams JW ShCM VW - 12y/o Tibetan spaniel bitch full of breed attributes, lovely hare feet, good blunt muzzle, lovely small skull, good eye, level topline, correct moderate rear angulation, good high tailset & tail is carried correctly, in good silky coat.

Utility Group:

1. Sheppard’s Mikasa Starstruck - Black Toy Poodle puppy bitch who is small but nevertheless of good substance, she is square, with good lay of shoulders, lovely, refined foreface, lovely dark almond eye. Presented in good coat.

2. Chamberlain’s Araki Shamana - Tibetan Terrier

3. Black chow of good size, correct coat texture, good body shape, ribcage & substance, nice eye, good ears. Moved with the typical rear movement expected.

4. Bull & Warren’s Zaralee I’m Still Standing at Starferry (IMP IRE) - Shar Pei
