I’d like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge today, this was a carry over appointment from 2020 and I’m sure you will all agree with me that we are better off today than we was then! To my steward my thanks for her assistance and to the exhibitors that gave me the honour of judging their dogs, a huge thank you.

1 Whincup & Glendinning Plaiglen Whateva at Partisky (AI) BOB

Lovely BWT bitch of two years, head balanced with good stop and rounded skull, correct eye shape and colour giving a lovely soft expression and plush muzzle. She is balanced with good reach of neck into correct front angulation with good forchest. Well bodied with deep chest and well sprung ribs, lovely bone and neat feet. She really moves out well with her ground covering stride.

1 Davies Mablehope Melrose Miss of Peacevale BP and BPIS

Super L/R bitch of 11 months pretty head, eye still needing to darken a touch, but it didn’t detract from her kind expression she is a lovely balanced shape when stacked, good reach of neck into correct front. She had good depth and well sprung ribs, lovely rear quarters with moderately bent stifle, good bone and feet. She moved true in all directions driving from the rear and showing off that merry Cocker action. Please to hear she went on the BPIS, congratulations.

2 Taylor-Kistner Black Lord Wildest Dream at Frieljoanipa NAF

What a sweetie is this little black bitch and a real baby at just 6 months old. Head still developing she has good body for her age, decent neck and bone. She was happy on the move and that’s always a good thing, time will be her friend.

1 Kidd & Freestone Laurellakes Dream Come True with Freestone

13 month old black bitch, balanced feminine head good length of neck, straight front, well boned and neat feet, she has depth in body with forchest developing. Well angled front and rear, she moved well with drive.

2 Ward Wensum Let’s Dance

This 15 months gold bitch, has a lovely outline, she makes a nice shape when stood, her head is balanced and feminine with a dark eye. She’s well bodied with good depth, well angled front and rear; she was a bit unsettled on the move but did move well when settled. I see litter sister to BOB

1 Glendinning Plaiglen Coffdrop RBOB

This lovely BR bitch of two years headed this well filled class. She has a balanced head with square muzzle and the right amount of stop, her eye could be a touch darker but the eye shape is correct. She has a good length of neck into good front angulation; she is well bodied with well sprung ribs, lovely rear end with well muscled quarters. She moves with drive really using her tail.

2 Collier Pepperbox Back in Time

 I liked this impressive BR dog for his basic outline, his head is masculine with lovely dark eye, good reach of neck into level top line, he has depth in body, well angled front and rear, he moved out well in all directions.

What’s not to like about this super black bitch of 15 months, she’s beautifully balanced with the prettiest of heads, she has good reach of neck that flows into her level topline. She’s straight in front with good bone and neat feet. Her chest is deep and ribs well sprung. She is compact with well muscled hind quarters; she moved with true Cocker bustle and was perfectly presented.

Mature BR bitch carrying a little more weight than I’d like, She has a pretty head with dark eye, straight front, well bodied, with good angles both ends. She moved out well really strutting her stuff.

1 Stevenson Mymmsbrook Matador with Blythway JW BOB

I liked this young man; he has a super head with gentle expression, good length of neck into decent front angulation, forelegs well boned and neat feet. He has good depth in brisket and well sprung ribs. He used his well muscled rear quarters to drive him around the ring; he was true fore and aft, but just a little proud of his tail. Well presented.

This is a sweet shapely bitch, with a feminine head having good eye shape and colour, She has good length of neck that flows into her topline, good angles front and rear, and she moved well, I would have just liked a bit more of her all through.

1 Gaylor & Robertson Heniveruce King of Brewers RBOB

This pleasing young man has a lovely head with soft expression. His neck is muscular and of good length, he has good forequarters with excellent return of upper arm, well off for bone and well bodied, well angled rear quarters with moderate turn of stifle. He moved well.

2 Cocking & Barnaby Bushwacker Happy Gilmore At Ruskinte

I thought this boy would be my winner on first glance as I feel he has a slightly better height to length ratio than 1. He has a Lovely head and eye, good neck length and lovely front angulation that match his rear quarters. I just feel he lacked body condition which is a shame. He moves out well.

1 Woodward Hinxwood Fire and Ice

This mature bitch has a pretty head that is balanced with good eye shape and colour. She has a decent front, straight forelegs and neat feet, she has ample depth with good rear quarters having good width of thigh and moderately turned stifle. She’s just carrying a little extra weight at the moment, but she was a happy mover covering the ground well..
