Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge your lovely show. I had a lovely entry of dogs to assess. Thank you to my stewards who kept things running smoothly and to the exhibitors for their entries. 


Australian Shepherd


Class 399 Postgraduate (3/2)


1st 621 Land & Gittans’ Soloyal Storyteller for Casmawllan. Beautiful, well balanced female. Feminine clean head with correct eye shape. She gives you the most adorable, melting expression. Good reach of neck. Well off for bone, good pasterns with excellent oval feet. Well sprung ribs, correct topline and strong through the loin. Nicely angulated rear and well muscled hinds. Moved with a lovely, rhythmic action. BOB.


2nd 620 King’s Altussi Aryan Mist. Young male who was slightly leggier than the winner of the class. Excellent, masculine head. Nicely constructed front with good bone and straight fores into good feet. Good topline and good turn of stifle. Moved well, needs more time to mature. 


Class 400 Open (2/1)


1st 622 Spenceley’s Quilters Kingfisher. Striking male, nicely matured at 3 years old. Masculine head with good balance of skull to muzzle. Good reach of neck into good front construction. Nicely boned with good feet. Ribs carried well back with correct topline. Nice angulation at the rear and well muscled all through. Well coated and moved strongly around the ring. RBOB.

Class 406 Junior (1/1)


1st 629 Harrell’s Beaukitas McCrory Park. Loved her! Beautiful, typy head with the darkest of eyes and strong muzzle. She has the most endearing expression. Well muscled neck, defined withers, well off for bone and tight feet. Well ribbed with strong topline and good width of loin. Well muscled thighs with strong hocks. Double dew claws present. Moved effortlessly around the ring. BOB.


Class 408 Open (1/1)


1st 620 Harrell’s Odyssee De Sainte Petronille. Mature bitch with a pretty, feminine head and dark eyes. Nicely constructed front, well boned fores. Correct topline, well angulated rear with double dew claws. Would benefit from some attention to her nail length. Not as active on the move as her younger competitor. RBOB.

Class 275 Puppy (1/1)


1st 459 Chambers & Gepp-Cox’s Bemojo Pearls of Wisdom at Musique. Cracking young pup with so much potential. Excellent head with correct eye shape, nicely balanced skull to muzzle, correct ear size and placement, well pigmented all through. Lovely front construction with excellent feet. Good ribbing, nice topline with correct tailset and carriage. Nicely angulated rear. Moved so well. BPIB.


Class 278 Open (3/2)


1st 458 Chambers’ Ch Musique Born Legacy. One I have judged before and my previous comments still apply now. So square in outline, excellent head, good eye and small, high set ears, well pigmented all through. Nicely boned with great feet. Lovely front construction with good forechest. Short coupled with a strong topline and excellent tailset and carriage. In lovely body condition and beautiful coat. Moved with drive and enthusiasm. BOB.


2nd 460 Ferry’s Ch Longsdale’s Little Bird with Ferrybelle. Really splitting hairs between these two exhibits. Feminine bitch with a beautiful head, dark eyes, excellent pigmentation, small and high set ears. Good neck, nicely sloped shoulders, excellent bone and feet. Compact through the loin, tail set on and carried well. Moved well around the ring. RBOB.

Class 319 Puppy (3/3)


1st 527 Gell’s Paravell Little Miss Magic. Just a baby at six months, this puppy is absolutely stunning. Elegant head with nothing overdone, dark eye of correct shape, well set ears. Nice length of neck into excellent front construction. Nicely boned with rounded feet. Compact through her body with ribs carried well back. Nicely balanced rear angulation. Correct tailset and carriage. She really flowed around the ring. BPIB.


2nd 533 Thomas’ Kelmorespitz Smokin Storm. 9 month old male with a handsome, masculine head with good eye colour. Decent length of neck. Well off for bone, with good feet. Nice topline which he held well on the move. Well coated. 


3rd 531 Rees’ Gemaras Glass Slippers at Blakeville.


Class 320 Junior (2/2)


1st 528 Hadlow’s Snoanda Doing This My Way. Masculine youngster with a good head, well defined stop and strong muzzle. Well muscled neck, nice front construction. Very well off for bone, good depth of brisket and length of rib. Level topline and correct tailset. Good turn of stifle and hocks well let down. Moved well.


2nd 525 Dyer’s Tasica Absolutely Fabulous. Cheeky young girl, pretty head and very feminine all through without lacking bone or substance. Nicely ribbed, good topline and tailset. Nice rear angulation, just a bit erratic on the move today. 


Class 321 Postgraduate (3/2)


1st 526 Elvidge & Webb’s Araki Hug My Panda. Absolutely loved this girl. So compact, so feminine and has the most charming disposition. Excellent head, strong jaw, dark eye, well set ears. Lovely neck into well laid shoulder. Great bone, round feet with good pads. Good spring of rib, brisket to elbows and strong through the loin. Good turn of stifle, nicely muscled thighs and hocks well let down. Really came into her own on the move where she has such a flowing gait. BOB.


2nd 529 Inwood’s Boshanti Yashmina at Bedivere. Larger built bitch but still well balanced. Good head with dark eye and defined stop. Nicely arched neck into good lay of shoulder, well boned fores. Level topline, well ribbed and balanced rear. Moved well. 


Class 322 Open (4/2)


1st 530 Inwood & Price’s Lasang Mister Dick at Bedivere. Mature male in his prime. Well coated with a handsome head and cheeky expression. Darkest of eyes, good ear set and carriage. Muscular neck, well balanced front angles. Well off for bone with large, round feet. Nicely ribbed, level topline with correct tailset. Strong through the hocks and well muscled hinds. Moved with drive. RBOB.


2nd 536 White’s Araki Fabulous Figtal at Trytez. Heavier set boy with plenty of bone and substance. Masculine head, correct eye shape and colour, strong through the muzzle. Nice arch to his neck, good forehand and nicely rounded feet. Good depth of brisket and spring of rib. Strong through the loin. Good bend of stifle and well muscled hinds. Moved well.
