LABRADOR RETRIEVERS

Firstly I would like to offer my thanks to the welcoming committee for the kind invitation to judge at their show, thanks also to my two helpful stewards Michelle and Siobhan and finally to the exhibitors for this great entry of dogs on the day.

A fabulous entry with some quality dogs especially the youngsters which bode well for the breed. Some older dogs would benefit from better handling as many were quite bouncy and difficult to get hands on with ease- the standard does read ‘biddable’, puppies can be allowed exuberance but Limit and Open dogs should be able to be presented much easier than they were.
