Sunday 10th July 2022

Judge: Mrs Kelly Hampton-Lee (Kelrick)

I would like to thank the committee of Ladies Kennel Association of Scotland for inviting me to judge at their Summer Open Show and my lovely stewards Steph Duncan and Ian Prentess who kept the ring running smoothly for me. I was pleased to have some lovely dogs to go over and would like to thank all the exhibitors for their entries.

Yorkshire Terrier

2. Mackay’s Joangelz To Love Somebody. 6 month old puppy bitch. Another lovely puppy. A spirited girl with a super personality, pretty head with correct length of muzzle, good dentition, small ears and sparkling dark eyes, good coat. Moved well.

Graduate: (1,0) 1. McCahill’s Zobear Bumblebee at Drachenfel (NAF). 3 year old bitch. Nice head with round dark lustrous eyes, correct mouth, and relatively short muzzle. Well open nostrils, well defined wrinkle, good pigmentation. Well angulated, good tail and moved well.

Open: (1) 1. Ferguson’s Rhodenash Dream Date With Tartanmops. 2 year old dog. I preferred the size and shape of this dog. He had a lovely head and soft expression with round, dark lustrous eyes, correct wrinkle definition and good pigmentation. Short and cobby body, good spring of rib, good reach of neck and well angulated throughout. He moved so well around the ring with purposeful and steady movement, holding a level topline. A super show boy! BOB.
