JAPANESE AKITAS

Firstly I would like to thank the Committee for the invite to judge this beautiful breed that I have been involved in for a long time, albeit mainly from a distance.Secondly to the exhibitors for the great entry and I know some of you had a very busy weekend so to make the effort to enter and attend is most appreciated.I had some nice dogs but movement does remain an issue with this breed however I know breeders are aware and working hard to resolve.

1.TSOYU TAMASHINO GO

Very feminine 17mth old brindle bitch most pleasing head and expression, dark eye, correct thick slightly hooded ears blending into crest of neck, well balanced body ,well boned whilst remaining feminine, strong full tail ,moved ok

2. MEGAPOLIS STYLE KOMAKHIME AT MAMORIKENSHA(imp RUS)

16 mth red bitch,pretty expression ,broad skull, dark eye, good bone, level back with good tuck up, still maturing, out of coat today.

POST GRADUATE(3,3)

1.SEIJITSU AMAFUMI GO TSOYU

22mth red male , masculine head, dark almond eye, required thick hooded ear carried in line with neck,strong muscular neck, well boned front ,level top line ,moderate spring of rib, full tail.

2.TSOYU FUJU TORA MATSUKITA

9 year old brindle bitch, correct head proportions and nice expression with required dark almond eye,thick hooded ears,level top line ,required moderate angulation,well muscled rear.Very attentive to owner.

1.BEL CH TSOYU GIN-RAIKOU KYOSHI

As a late maturing breed this bitch proves at nearly 8 years she’s still got it.Beautifully balanced quality red bitch,most attractive head and expression, well developed cheeks,nicely hooded ears blending into crest of neck.Level top line,well boned ,strong front and in muscular condition,required moderate angulation, correct set tail.Moved well.

2.TSOYU MURASAKI GO SEIJITSU

Another nice red bitch just preferred movement on 1,well presented ,broad skull ,correct expression ,balanced bitch with good bone whilst retaining femininity,moderate angulation fore and aft.
