I want to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge this lovely show and all the exhibitors for their entry and for accepting my decisions. It really made for a lovely day judging.

Open D/B 6 (2 abs)

1st & BOB Pearson’s Ir Ch Braccorion's Nesta Vipas – This bitch caught my eye when she entered the ring and when I went over her, she didn’t disappoint; she had the correct head and all the correct points needed to make the head, powerful neck that gently went into the correct shoulder placement, strong shoulders of the correct length and well-muscled and laid well back, nice depth of chest giving plenty of heart room, well-sprung rib, correct loin, correct rear angles that allowed her to move around the ring with ease,

2nd BP & Puppy Group 2 Goode’s Viljetun’s Viking Sigurd At Brackenvale (Imp Nor) NAF – Lovely young dog showing lots of promise, but sadly gave a lot away in age and maturity today, but for me, this is correct; he as the time to fill and finish his great frame, I loved his head and expression, good length of neck into nice shoulders, good depth of chest for his age, lovely spring of rib, good topline and tail set, nice turn of stifle, moved with ease.

1st BOB & Group 3 O’Connor’s Karlejay Gump They Live In Yu – Liver and white dog with the correct coat length, texture and undercoat, lovely masculine head without being overdone and still in proportion with his body, correct eye shape and colour, strong neck of good length, correct angles both front and rear, excellent depth of chest, good deep ribs and well-sprung ribs, firm back and correct topline, good strong and well-muscled thighs, moved around the ring with power and ease

2nd Cox’s Green Dale Ash – This young dog certainly made his handlers work harder than it needed to be, lovely head and expression, correct coat and texture, good neck into nice front angles, nice depth of chest and spring of ribs, nice turn of stifle, just needs to develop the rear-end muscles a little more, moved well once settled.

1st & BOB Barker’s Caithpoint Maia At Flinthill – Orange and white bitch with the most appealing head and expression correct eye and nose colour, good length of neck that just flowed into great shoulders, nice wide chest giving good heart room, well let down brisket, good spring of rib, muscular back-end and well-turned stifle, well let down hocks, that she used to move around the ring with ease, her tail was set correctly and was used correctly on the move.

1st Barker’s Ragus Lets Get Moving at Flinthill – Black & white dog, with a masculine head and expression, lovely neck flowing into a nice front assembly, good depth of chest and well-sprung ribs, nice turn of stifle, correct topline and tail set, which was used well on the move.

1st & BOB Martin’s Garline Love So Deep – Pale bitch with the most appealing head and expression, good neck going into correct shoulder placement, nice depth of chest and good spring of rib, good turn of stifle and good second thigh, correct topline and lovely tail placement, moved around the ring with ease.

1st Taylor’s Stormford Honeysuckle SH CM – 8 ½-year-old bitch with a sweet feminine head and expression, lovely neck going into the correct front shoulder placement, nice depth of chest and spring of rib, level topline, and level topline, good tail placement, lovely turn of stifle moved well.

1st & BOB Palmer’s Cassom Sun Dreaming Over Colmeir – Orange and white dog, with a lovely masculine head and expression, muscular neck of moderate length, flowing into sloping shoulders, well-developed chest with deep brisket, good spring of ribs, short loin, level topline sloping gently downwards to tail, well rounded and well-muscled hindquarters, nice bend of stifle used well to drive around the ring.

2nd Bacon’s Timbric Etta James – Blue roan bitch with a lovely head and expression, good neck going into sloping shoulders, good depth of chest and deep brisket, nice spring of ribs, good topline, lovely firm muscular rear end, moved well with drive.

3rd BP MacFarlane’s Cooleela As Sweet As You Are

1st MacFarlane’s Cooleela Cressida – Black bitch with a feminine head and expression, nice neck into correct shoulder placement, nice chest and spring of ribs, strong firm topline, correct tail placement, good turn of stifle, moved with drive around the ring.

2nd Bacon’s Timbric Star Catcher – Liver roan bitch, with a sweet head and expression, good neck into good shoulders, nice depth of chest and spring of ribs, good turn of stifle, moved well around the ring.

1st & BOB Hackett’s Sh Ch Curlyco My Hot Rockstar – Masculine dog with the most appealing head and expression, without being overdone in any way, correct eye shape and colour just to finish the head off nicely, powerful neck going nicely into well-placed shoulders, back nice and short broad and level, well-sprung ribs, short coupled to hindquarters, powerful hindquarters with well let down hocks, correct tail placement and carriage, correct coat texture and features.

2nd Foody’s Kendenner Louisa – Feminine bitch with a sweet head and expression, good neck into nice placed shoulders, enough depth of chest and spring of ribs, good topline just needs to firm up a little, good turn of stifle and moved well around the ring, correct coat and texture, I think more practice is needed for the handler to get the best out of this lovely bitch.

1st BOB & Group 1 Chandler’s Chanangel Jo Sugden – a great dog of good breed type, masculine head and expression without being overdone in any way, skull with proportionate length, with a clearly defined stop, correct eye colour and size, lovely ear shape and set correctly finishing off his great head, long neck flowing nicely into sloping shoulders, correct angles both front and rear, muscular and strong body, with a deep brisket and well-sprung ribs, well-coupled loin muscular and slightly arched, strong backend, with a moderate angled stifle, well let down hocks that allowed him to drive around the ring with ease, correct topline and tail set that was kept well on the move, once I will watch with interest in the future.

2nd Douglas & Chandler’s Eiriandylis Georgy Girl By Santallina Taf Naf – sweet feminine bitch with a lovely feminine head and expression, good neck into well-placed shoulders, nice depth of chest and good spring of ribs, strong hindquarters, moderate turn of stifle, well let down hocks, correct topline and tail placement, which was kept well on the move, moved with ease around the ring.

1st BOB, BP Group 4 & Puppy Group 1 Robson’s Kalimor Nancy At Robricci – wow, what can I say about this lovely bitch, she just caught my eye from the moment she walked into the ring, she had all the attributes in her head to give her a very typical head and expression, clean and moderate length of neck, forelegs straight and strong, correct body proportions, level top line with the slightly sloping croup, chest correct for her age, well-sprung ribs, firm loin, and the correct tuck up, well turned stifles, correct tail placement and carriage, moved well around the ring. I will watch her show career with interest.

2nd Thorne’s Mabanika A Team – Upstanding dog with a very good head and expression, firm, strong neck going into correct angles, nice depth of chest and spring of ribs, firm loin and correct amount of tuck up, good turn of stifles, correct topline and tail set, moved with drive around the ring.

1st Robson’s Robricci Aramis JW – Masculine dog with a masculine head and expression without being overdone, strong neck flowing into correct shoulders, nice angles both front and rear, nice depth of chest and good spring of rib, correct topline and tail placement that was held well on the move, good turn of stifle well let down hock which he used well to move around the ring.

1st BAVNSC & Puppy Group 4 Hodgkinson’s Zorrazo Quest For Success (Imp Hrv) TAF (Spanish Water Dog) – Brown male with a very good masculine head and expression, all the correct attributes to give the correct shape and feel to his head, good firm short muscular neck set well into the shoulders, correct angles both front and rear, chest nice and deep with well-sprung ribs, good brisket reaching to elbows giving plenty of heart and lung room, well-muscled thighs, hocks well let down which he used well to move with drive around the ring, correct coat texture giving formed cords.

2ND Thrum’s Dappledele First Date At Bryburn (GSP) - lovely bitch with a sweet feminine head and expression with correct eye colour shape and correct ears to finish off her lovely head, muscular slightly arched long neck thickening before the shoulders, excellent angles both front and rear, nice depth of chest, ribs deep and sprung well, firm short back, level topline sloping gradually towards tail, correct tail placement which was kept well on the move, strong second thigh and stifles well bent, moved with drive around the ring.

1st BGV & BVIS Chandler’s Sh Ch Chanangel Sticky Wicket JW ShCM VW (WSS) – what can I say about this nine ½-year-old dog but wow, and going over him with my hands did not disappoint me in any way; he had the most appealing head with all the breed type which just made looking at his head so easy, long muscular neck set into sloping shoulders, forelegs straight well boned and of medium length, strong muscular body, with a deep brisket and well-sprung ribs, muscular loin, well coupled, well let down hocks, strong and muscular hindquarters, good second thighs, correctly angled stifles, lovely tail placement, this dog just moved so easy and free, he never put a foot wrong, and it was a pleasure to watch him go Best Veteran In Show.

2nd O’Connor’s Karlejay Gump Kin Ya Imagine ShCM (GWP) – 8 ½-year-old bitch, with a sweet feminine head and expression, good neck flowing into well-placed shoulders, lovely depth of chest and spring of ribs giving plenty of heart and lung room, correct topline and tail set, good turn of stifle, moved well with drive and she had the correct length of coat and texture.

2nd Lorraine’s Otterpaws Take It Easy With Raleniro JW – bitch with a good head and expression, nice neck into correct fronts, nice chest, good loin, topline firm and held well on the move.

1st BOB Group 1 Griffiths’ Brocolitia Point Of Fire – this stunning dog caught my eye as he entered the ring. He didn’t disappoint when I went over him, with the correct head shape, eye shape and colours and ear placement that finished his great head, clean, muscular neck flowing nicely into correct front angles, great depth of chest, good strong bone, lovely short strong level topline, deep brisket, great short coupling, a strong muscular back end which he used to his advantage moving around the ring, correct tail placement and carriage.

At the same time, she moved around the ring with power and ease.

2nd McIntosh’s Cleopatras Fortune of Chagall (Ridgeback) – 10 ½-year-old bitch with lovely head and expression, good neck and shoulder placement, good chest and spring of ribs, nice turn of stifle, correct coat and ridge, moved well.
