I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their show. Delighted to see my winner of the Gundog Group go Best in Show and my Best Veteran take Reserve Best Veteran in Show, well done.

1. Williams – Teisgol Hot Shot

4-year-old male, very balanced throughout with clean lines, beautiful head and eye, strong neck leading into correct front properties, well ribbed with good depth to chest, strong bone, moved true with reach and drive off tight feet, BOB

2. Osman – Cattistock Cosmos with Marissolo

Only 9 months of age so giving a lot away to the winner, another with a lovely head and expression, balanced throughout, good depth and spring to rib, good bend to the stifle, moved steady for a baby. BP

Male of 5 years, great depth throughout, masculine in head and eye, excellent front, great depth to rib, good rear angulations, moved with drive off lovely tight feet.

2. Sardu – Misty Meadow’s Baby’s Got A Temper

6-year-old bitch, nice head and eye, decent front properties, would prefer a little more depth, good over the croup, good in rear stifle, moved ok.

4-year-old American cocker, beautifully turned out, head well rounded with good depth of muzzle and earset. Long, muscular neck leading into good front assembly, excellent in sternum, straight front, good depth and spring of rib, strong quarters which he used on the move. BOB

2. Sheppard - Nasailleen On A Mission At Shadowview

8-month-old male, lovely domed skull with a beautiful kind eye, well balanced throughout, good in rib, strong quarters, moved well for his age, lots of potential. BP

1. Salmon – Crimicar Indigo Eclipse

Lovely 2-year-old male showing plenty of balance, lovely head and expression, excellent in front, excellent sternum, stood on good legs and feet, lovely rib, elbows tucked in, good in topline, moved steady and true and turned out in excellent condition.

2. Masters & Dott – Adriana Sunforest Soul With Manchela (IMP UKU) NAF

Only 10 months of age but what a lovely bitch, caught my eye as she entered, most beautiful head and eye, balanced throughout, took my eye, excellent in front, good depth and spring of rib, stood on lovely feet, well boned for her age, moved steady and true for a baby BP & PG1

3. Parkhouse – Federico Brave Heart (IMP RUS) NAF TAF

1. McCabe-Bell – Grandtully Eliza Doolittle

Bitch of super quality, lovely head and expression, strong neck leading into excellent front properties with the correct lay and return of upper arm, good in rib, excellent over topline which she held on the move, moved well with drive off lovely tight feet, plenty of substance throughout, turned out in excellent condition BOB & G2

2. Parkhouse – Sandlauga Magic Spell for Shivani ShCEx

Another lovely dog, excellent front and rear angulations, good in rib and depth, beautiful head and eye, turned out in excellent condition, moved well.

1. Kibby – Trimere Turn Back Time

My notes say ‘wow’, what a stunning little bitch of only 13 months. This is a dog that just takes your eye, beautifully balanced throughout. The most beautiful head and expression, strong neck leading into the correct lay of shoulder and upper arm which enabled great forward reach, excellent in sternum. Great depth and spring of rib, leading to strong quarters and lovely sweep of stifle. Well boned for her young years and stood on the tightest of feet, she moved with drive and precision and like she owned the ring, just loved her and I’m sure she will have a bright future. Presented in excellent condition. BOB, G1 and later BIS, congratulations

2. Kibby – Trixhund Scarlett Ribbons at Pinhays

3-Year-old bitch of nice type, nice head and eye, good angulations fore and aft, good depth to the rib, good in topline, moved ok as she seemed a bit unsettled.

Litter sister to the previous class winner and with the same attributes, lovely head and eye, strong neck into good front angulation, good depth and spring of rib, good over the croup, another who moved out well with drive.

11-month-old bitch of excellent type and quality, she just took my eye as soon as she entered the ring. Most beautiful head with kind eye, excellent angulations fore and aft, great depth and spring of rib, stands so true, moved out with precision and drive, she is just so balanced throughout, just lovely, I hear this was her final point for her JW, well done, I’m sure she will have a bright future with her young handler. 2-year-old bitch, another lovely girl, well balanced, good angulations fore and aft, good in stifle, good in topline which she held on the move, moved steady and true.

Irish Water Spaniel 16 months old and presented in excellent order, lovely head and eye, strong bone and substance, best of feet, excellent angulation fore and aft, great in rib and depth, moved out well with drive and precision. Best AVNSC

2. Henderson – When I Was Your Man Black Lofty (IMP POL)

Gordon Setter 2½ years old beautiful head and eye with lovely square muzzle and raised brow, strong neck leading into decent front angulation and lay of shoulder, great in depth and rib, good bend to the stifle, good in topline, moved well.

3. Green – Sooty Ringlet

1. 4-year-old Gordon Setter bitch, pleasant in head, kind eye, decent angulation fore and aft, good in rib, stood on nice feet, moved ok.

1. Fenn – Willsbrook The Hairy Biker At Jandeburn ShCM

10½-year-old Golden Retriever built on substantial lines, so well off for bone, beautiful head with dark eye, excellent in forehand and sternum, good layback of shoulder leading into ribs that had great depth and spring, lovely sweep of stifle, stood on the best of feet, moved with drive and precision and turned out in excellent condition. BV & Reserve Best Veteran in Show – congratulations

2. 9-year-old Irish Setter bitch, beautiful head with lovely raised brow and lovely finish to foreface, excellent front properties with the correct lay and return of upper arm, elbows well tucked in, good in topline which she held on the move, good depth and spring of rib, lovely sweep to the stifle, moved steady and true, presented in lovely order.
