HUNGARIAN VIZSLA

P 1(0)

1. Watson’s Oakswarren Light My Fire (AI). Lovely medium sized pup full of early promise, super body, correct proportions, nice amount of bone showing robustness, pleasing noble head with skull being a little longer than muzzle and lovely expression, with good dentition, lovely level top-line and moved around the small ring with grace and ease and in a lively fashion, a pleasure to assess, BP.

PG 4(2)

1. Watson’s Oakswarren Inferno. 2 year old male, lovely outline, a robust workmanlike balanced male of lovely russet colour, really looked like he could do a day’s work, scores in head and expression with the desired leanness and tapering of the muzzle, with good amount of bone and nice tight feet, sound, ground covering and lively on the move, BOB and later Group 3.

2. Morris’s Stairnel Siren. A little unsettled, enjoying his day out today but very much scores in bone and muscle with a good width of second thigh, all male in head with a good breadth to his skull, long lean neck and correct proportions, straight front legs, well bent stifles, just needs to settle.

HUNGARIAN WIREHAIRED VIZSLA

1. Jones’ Venatordream Lille at Fortmorrigan. 14 month medium sized bitch with much to like, really liked her depth and a super presence of forechest, lovely outline with a dense harsh jacket all over, sweet, kind, intelligent expression and temperament to match, she covered the ground on the move, would prefer a touch more rear angulation to complete the picture.

PG 2(1)

1. Jones’ Venatordream Lille at Fortmorrigan. Repeat, 1st in J.

O 2(0)

A difficult decision between two quality but different exhibits.

1. Moss’s Enryb Scarlett O’Hara at Ewtor. A more moderate compact bitch who I felt was more robust than her kennel mate, skull broad and slightly rounded, ears slightly oval, well-muscled neck, in slightly better jacket today than 2, lovely proportions, lovely feet, well bent stifles matched by well laid and muscular shoulders and good body, sometimes stands herself over too much ground, moves with real reach and drive, BOB and later BIS.

2. Moss’s Electra Atlantis at Ewtor. A more old-fashioned type in less coat today, more moderate in angles but in no way incorrect, lovely depth, great typical head and so free and clean on the stack, in good condition and really enjoying her day out but pushed her kennel mate all the way and would still challenge the best, she perhaps scores best in her graceful, elegant and ground covering action which appears effortless.

WEIMARANER

PG 1(0)

1. Gosling’s Glasarian Sitka. Laid back bitch of medium size, correct 12:10 proportions, balanced angulations fore and rear, lovely typical silver, grey coloured coat, moved well covering the ground, good top line which was held on the move, feet could be tighter but otherwise put on a sound performance for what was her first indoor show, a little more presence and enthusiasm will come.

O 2(1)

1. Gosling’s Glasarian Amethyst. Typical bitch, lovely classic outline with correct proportions, in good condition, scores in depth and well-balanced, nice neck and pleasing head with aristocratic expression, lovely ear set and correct head, moved well covering the ground with ease, another with a lovely temperament, mother to the young exhibit and it showed, BOB.

ITALIAN SPINONE

PG 1(0)

1. Pugh’s Gellini Indian Moon. Lovely robust Spinone with appealing head and divergent planes, nice almost round eye of a colour compatible with coat, lovely bone and a nice size all over, well balanced and with good body, moved freely at a fast trot and with ease, showed very well and was complimented by a coarse dense jacket, a pleasure to judge.

O 2(1)

1. Bennett’s Testaverde Irma Capece Del Hochopeca JW. Pleasing bitch with a wonderful contagious attitude, correct head planes, lovely ear set, large spongy nose, strong dentition, super depth and good forechest, tight feet, correct unexaggerated top line, moved well, would prefer a little more width behind but put on a good show and could not be denied BOB.

SPANIEL (SUSSEX)

P 1(0)

1. Bradbury/Preston’s Harasteorra Big Bear. Enthusiastic outgoing puppy dog with an ever wagging tail which was lovely to see, super condition and shown in first class order, lovely angulation fore and rear, correct coat, wide skull with a pronounced stop, nothing overdone, on the move he was eager and demonstrated that distinctive ‘roll’, BP.

Junior (1 etnry)

1. Bradbury/Preston’s Harasteorra Big Bear.

PG 1(0)

1. Bradbury’s Harasteorra Aurora at Shoaloak. Just right for age, another one enjoying the day, showed very well, moderate but not incorrect, scores in body with depth and width with a lovely flat coat to compliment, nice tight feet, moved soundly and really covered the ground, lovely nose with wide nostrils and good ear set.

O 4(2)

1. Bradbury/Preston’s Harasteorra Aphrodite. An outgoing bitch shown in wonderful condition, lovely body, very appealing, unexaggerated head with moderate curve and classic expression, neatly fitting eyelids showing little haw, good dentition, moved around the ring freely and easily and with determination, BOB.

2. Hastings’ Sh Ch/Ir Ch. Bardings Bypolar Bear Ir Jun Ch CW19 CJW19 JW. A little heavier than 1 all over for me and a little less animated on the move today which ultimately cost him higher honours sadly, lovely outline and good bone, great rib and lovely top-line, super personality and a great coat showed very well with a real no nonsense look at me attitude.

SPANIEL (FIELD)

PG 2(1)

1. Hazell Nadavin Expectation of Vraibleu. Lovely exhibit, just right for age, classic, noble and upstanding outline with great balance, lovely head and a great attitude and showmanship, correct amount of coat, shown in first class order and moved well, a nice size, really pleased to assess this one, I thought her quite lovely and will watch her progress with interest.

O 6(3)

1. English’s Sonnetend Wake Up and Dream at Wireduck. A pleasing bitch of lovely size and great proportion, melting head and expression, not as enthusiastic on the move but warmed up as the class went on, lovely neck into well laid shoulders, she continues to mature nicely.

2. Moss’s Ewtor The Wizard. Upstanding, all male chap who is the ultimate showman, lost out today on coat which was a shame as he is a first class exhibit, beautifully handled and presented, lovely bone and super proportions, I will watch him with interest.
