MANCHESTER TERRIER ASSOCIATION LIMIT SHOW HELD AT THE STAFFORDSHIRE SHOW GROUND ON 2 APRIL 2022

I would like to thank the members of the Manchester Terrier Association for their kind invitation to judge their Limited Show. I had a nice entry of 14 however some absentees were inevitable.

Thank you to my steward how kept the proceedings running smoothly.

SPECIAL BEGINNERS D/B (2 – 1 ab)

1. JOYCE – WYSTRY OSCAR’S KNIGHT – nice for size and markings, pleasing in head with a dark eye and a good scissor bite. Presented in good condition, nice arch over the loin and correct tail length. Moved soundly.

PUPPY DOG – (0)

JUNIOR DOG (2)

1. GOODWIN – X-PECTED DINE MITES DOC HOLIDAY AT HOLTAIRE (IMP NOR) – first time out and handled the proceedings well. Correct for size and bone, pleasing in head with a good scissor bite. Narrow in front and a well proportioned body. Coat was close and smooth. Moved soundly both ways - RBD

1. PLANT – PLANTOCRACY BOLD BRUCE – pleasing in size and outline with a nice rise over his loin. He has a lovely wedge shaped head with a dark eye and a good scissor bite. He has nice bone and feet, straight front and was in good condition and muscle tone. He was well angulated and moved steady. Best Dog and RBIS

POST GRADUATE BITCH – (2 – 1 AB)

1. WALKER – SIZLIN HEY GOOD LOOKIN – Nice wedge shaped head, dark almond shaped eyes. Bite was correct, her body was compact and she had a nice underline. Coat was close and short. She has good muscle tone a narrow front. Moved ok

LIMIT BITCH – (4 – 1 ab-)

1. MCDERMOTT & CORCORAN – DIGELSA DASH OF CLASS AT GEMRIS – attractive feminine bitch. Lovely wedge shaped head, good ear carriage, dark eye and good dentition. Markings were clear and a rich tan, her front was straight with enough forechest and good feet. She has a nice arch and underline. She has nice angulation and moved soundly. BB and BIS

2. FORSHAW – JANDOR MOONLIGHT MELODY - Nice in size, pleasing wedge shaped head, correct bite. Shapely outline and good bone. Her front was straight, and tail carriage was good. Moved out well RBB

3. OBOYLE – PAUCELIN FURET AT RUFFAGGA
