I would like to thank the Committee for inviting me to judge this prestigious show, and for the exhibitors who kindly gave me the opportunity of going over their dogs. I was thrilled to get the chance to judge so many Shelties in one go, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.

Minor Puppy Dog (2)

1st Mottram's Lundecock's Hoopie-Doo At Lochkaren (Imp Swe). Sable and white baby of nine months. Lovely head of good proportions and sweet expression, well placed dark eyes and well set ears used to advantage. Well grown and with good bone, nicely proportioned and with good angulation. In lovely coat and condition and moving with confidence. Best Puppy Dog, Best Puppy in Show. 2nd Jamieson's Torinska Sky Full Of Song. Six and a half month old tri, balanced head although skull needs to flatten a tad, dark eyes, good reach of neck, body has good proportions but tends to stand bum high at present. Preferred the front of (1). Moving ok for such a baby.

Puppy Dog (3, 1)

1st Thornley's Felthorn Barnaby Rudge. Eleven month old tri, pleasing head and expression with well used ears and dark eyes. Well angulated front and rear, well off for bone, body nicely proportioned, in nice coat and moving well. 2nd Watts' Sandwick En Vogue At Cedarbank. Sable and white almost ten months, attractive head with a sweet expression, slightly longer cast than (1), top coat in good condition but lacking undercoat today. Rather erratic on the move.

Junior Dog (2)

1st Lundecock's Hoopie-Doo At Lochkaren (Imp Swe). 2nd Ayres' Gemette Gone Platinum. Well grown blue merle of fourteen months, well placed and used ears, eyes a tad low set but a beautiful blue colour, longer cast body, stands over a lot of ground, in excellent coat.

Novice Dog (1)

1st Sandwick En Vogue At Cedarbank. Moving better here on a shorter lead.

Graduate Dog (5, 1). Three year old sable, nice head and expression, good front and well proportioned body. Good angulation but rather long in rear pastern. Moving ok. 2nd Gemette Gone Platinum. 3rd Goldie's Blenmerrow Mazurka.

Post Graduate Dog (6)

1st Hateley's Mohnesee Mr Bobbie Black JW. Three year old tri, balanced all through with a lovely head and expression. Enough bone and good angulation, all covered in a well fitting coat of good texture. Moved with an easy action. 2nd Withers & Thornley's Felthorn Cover Story. Almost three year old tri, balanced head with well used ears, just preferred the expression of (1). Good for size, with enough bone, good angulation. Moving well. 3rd Pattinson's Kyleburn Hidden Dream.

Limit Dog (5, 1)

1st Hull's Mohnesee's Dream Date Of Lizmark JW. Four year old sable who looks stunning in his glamorous coat. Nice head and expression, good body proportions, well angulated front and rear, excellent topline, moving well and shown in excellent order. Reserve Best Dog. 2nd Robinson's Lavika Deep Blue Ocean. Two year old blue merle, would prefer a bit more stop and underjaw needs to develop. He presents a good outline and has excellent angulation. Coat in excellent condition. 3rd Williams' Tachnamadra Au Revoir To Milesend.

Open Dog (1)

1st Walker's Tooralie's Ocho Rios JW. Four year old shaded sable with a lovely head and expression, making the most of his well tipped ears. He has a balanced body of good shape and is well angulated. Moved very well

Special Open Dog (Sable & White) (3)

1st Robinson's Lavika Starlight Salute. Sable of twenty-two months, well built with rather a strong head, excellent body proportions and good angulation, moved well. 2nd Tachnamadra Au Revoir To Milesend. Three year old sable, well used ears and nice eyes, slightly longer in body but well angulated. 3rd Moore's Sanscott Limited Edition.

Special Open Dog (Tricolour, B & T or B & W) (1)

1st Pattinson's Kyleburn Romulus. Five year old tri, well put together with balanced head and body. Well off for bone, kept his topline on the move and in good coat.

Special Open Dog (Blue Merle) (3)

1st Daniels & Taylor's Pepperhill Cruise Control. Coming up for six years this lad has a lovely head, well balanced body and good topline, well angulated but not moving with much enthusiasm today. 2nd Gemette Gone Platinum. 3rd Varnom's Milesend Blue Jeans.

Veteran Dog (3)

1st Walker's Ch Marsula Shogun JW ShCM (Imp Aus). Lovely seven year old tri, in super coat and condition, with excellent head and expression. Good body proportions and angulation, croup tends to fall away a tad when standing. Moved very well. Best Dog, Best Veteran Dog, Best Opposite Sex in Show. 2nd Varnom's Milesend Sea Captain. Seven year old shaded sable, with rather a strong head and muzzle, nice eyes and well used ears, carrying a little extra weight. 3rd Pattinson's Kyleburn Mithras.

Minor Puppy Bitch (6)

1st Sutherland's Beechmere Beautiful At Holamber. Seven month old pale sable and white, pretty head and expression, with lovely eyes and well used ears. Nice overall shape and good angulation. Moved well. Best Puppy Bitch. 2nd Diviney's Divinecroi's Bonny Ailbhe. Six month old darker sable, very immature but showing a lot of promise. Overall shape is nice and she is well angulated. 3rd Walker's Tooralie's Two Step.

Puppy Bitch (2)

1st Divinecroi's Bonny Ailbhe. 2nd Moore's Kyleburn Almost A Dream With Sanscott. Nearly eleven months sable, with well used ears, underjaw needs to develop, moving ok.

Junior Bitch (3, 1)

1st Robson's Saxonoak Blue Turns To Grey. Sixteen month old blue merle, pretty head with a lovely expression, Nicely put together with good angulation, tends to pace and would benefit from moving faster. 2nd Massey's Echolynn Harmonic Among Ristine. Fourteen month old tri, bigger all through than (1), balanced head and body, and in good coat.

Novice Bitch (4, 1)

1st Rule's Bleatarn Chantilly Lace. Smaller type this little girl is a lovely rich red sable with a pretty head and expression. She has a super outline and excellent angulation, moving well. 2nd Kyleburn Almost A Dream With Sanscott. 3rd Echolynn Harmonic Among Ristine.

Graduate Bitch (7, 3)

1st Whittington's Tighness The Tide is High. Very nice sable and white bitch, didn't look seven and a half, very pretty head with sweetest of expressions, lovely make and shape, in super coat and well handled to get the best out of her. Reserve Best Bitch, Best Veteran Bitch, Reserve Best in Show, Best Veteran in Show. 2nd Ayres' Gemette Gala Night. Three year old tri, smaller type, nice head, good front but tends to fall away behind. 3rd Moore's Sanscott Sweet Edition.

Post Graduate Bitch (3)

1st Withers & Thornley's Mitchfields Cover Girl At Felthorn. Four year old tri with a lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, well off for bone, balanced throughout with level topline and good angulation. Moved with style. 2nd Morrison's Ketim Future Edition. Three year old shaded sable, very pretty head and expression, nicely put together and moving well. 3rd Deveson's Milesend Sea Pearl.

Limit Bitch (3, 1)

1st Hateley's Mohnesee Enchanted. Two and a half year old sable with a keen expression, rather rangey at present, moving out nicely, 2nd Atkins' Jontygray Kiss N' Tell. Four year old with a sweet expression, rather low set body and tends to stand wide in front. Could not match (1) for movement.

Open Bitch (2)

1st Robinson's Lavika Time Of My Life JW. Super five year old sable, prettiest of heads and well balanced throughout, excellent topline and moved like a dream. Best Bitch, Best in Show. 2nd Deveson's Janetstown Je Suis JW ShCM. Seven year old with a well balanced head, sweet expression and lovely eyes, body rather short coupled but well angulated.

Special Beginners Bitch (3)

1st Pesonen's Tooralie's Rose Queen. Two year old shaded sable, very nice for size and type. Well balanced and in well presented coat. 2nd Divinecroi's Bonny Ailbhe. 3rd. Way's Tywysoges Delphine.

Special Open Bitch (Sable & White) (5, 1)

1st Hateley's Mohnesee Millybelle JW. Four year old rich sable, with the sweetest expression, lovely head with well placed eyes and ears, she has a super outline and is well angulated, moving very well. 2nd Gruszka's Samphrey Sea Breeze. Eight year old shaded sable, nice head and expression, carrying a little extra weight today so not moving as well as (1). 3rd Sanscott Sweet Edition.

Special Open Bitch (Tricolour, B & T or B & W) (2)

1st Robinson's Lavika Black Beauty JW. Five year old tri with a super head and expression, very attentive to handler, good body shape and excellent angulation, in super coat and moving well. 2nd Whittington's Esterbon Three Kisses For Tighness JW. Five year old tri, finer boned than (1), nice body shape and moved well.

Special Open Bitch (Blue Merle) (2, 1)

1st Dunn's Mohnesee Diamonds N' Pearls JW. Seven year old blue merle, strongly made bitch with plenty of bone. Very keen expression, good front and rear angulation. Carrying a very good coat.

Veteran Bitch (4)

1st Robinson's Lavika Lucky Star JW. Seven year old sable, who I last judged as a puppy when I awarded her BOB. Lovely for type, with a sweet expression, well balanced in head and body, nicely put together all round and still moving well. 2nd Mohnesee Diamonds N' Pearls JW. 3rd Ayres' Gemette Gone Midnite.
