Junior Handling

Some very smart handlers here today, well done. It was sad to see juniors being told what they didn’t do so well as soon as they exited the ring rather than being positively encouraged. Our hobby should be fun and there will always be another opportunity at the next show, just enjoy being in the ring with your dog and have fun.

6-11

1st Zoe Hudson

A very natural handler who showed her dog to its best and blended into the background herself as every great handler should. Smart table presentation. Executed patterns well and lines were straight. Just one tip, beware of overshadowing in the initial line up, as when you moved to the rear of the dog, you blocked my vision of the dog behind you, never the less and excellent round, Well done.

2nd Myla Mae Hanes

Another very sympathetic handler who showed her Bedlington well. I would just focus a little more on table presentation and positioning the dogs head upwards to the judge when presenting the teeth. Good pattern work, moved freely and was at one with her dog.

3rd Kian Whitelock

12-16

1st Porscha Rault

At one with her dog throughout, a very smart handler who completed all table and pattern work quietly and confidently, encouraged her dog all the way.

2nd Isabelle Collier

Another smart handler who was very sympathetic and encouraging to her dog. Completed the initial presentation well, just lost out on the final up and down which was not as straight as I would have liked.

3rd Kaitlin Collier

Adult Handling

17-30

1st Abbeygail Longhurst

A very natural handler, not exaggerated and got the best out of her dog at all times. Aware of others in the ring and completed all table and pattern work well. Just watch out on the final presentation as you were not as central to the judge as you could have been a couple of times. However, an excellent handler and enjoyed watching you work your dog, well done.

2nd Yakira Michel

Another excellent handler with lots to like. Very similar to one and hard to split, just lost out on the final up and down which was not as straight as I would have liked.

3rd Kittiana French

30 years plus

1st Anita Skinner

A lovely natural handler who I could not fault. Presented her dog to its best at all times, smart table presentation and pattern work and was aware of the others in the ring around her. A faultless round, well done.

2nd Ann-Marie Taylor

Another natural handler who presented and moved her dog to its best at all times. Moving her dog at the correct pace on a nice loose lead getting the best out of him. Just lost out on the final up and down which was not as straight as I would have liked.
