Thank you to the Officers and Committee of Eston & Barnaby DC for inviting me to judge at my first show. It was a very overwhelming to have such a large entry of 15 from some of the top kennel’s in the country, with only 2 absentee’s. This made my decision’s very difficult and I had to be very thorough in making my placements. Thank you to my helpful steward, John who kept the ring running smoothly and helping me with documentation.I enjoyed my day, unfortunately I wish I had more 1st places! due to the quality of my entry. Thanks must also go to all the exhibitors who gave me the chance to go over their dogs, even though I was a little nervous as having experienced Exhibitor’s who award CC’s !! I was Pleased my BOB went on to TG1 & RBIS also BP was TPG1.

1st Pickering’s Picer Mirabel Ostler. (BP, TPG1)

Blue & Tan Bitch A workman like Bitch that was shown in top condition pleasing head with keen expression, good strength of muzzle, good eye shape, width of skull nicely set ears good reach of neck, stood on straight legs & neat feet, correct top-line, correct angulation & neat tail-set leading into carrot tail, tight thick coat texture coming though, thick loose pelt . Movement was textbook! very happy to award BP

2nd Atkinson’s Raedwulf Daybreak.

Grizzle Dog We’ll proportioned & of a handy size, nothing overdone! completely balanced, great otter head, Straight front & well padded feet, well laid shoulders, easily spanned body, moved well. A hard decision, unlucky a mixed class 1 had more presence in line up.

1st Pickering’s Picer Bess pool.(BOB, TG1, RBIS)

Grizzle bitch, very balanced strong head, neat ears, dark eye, good muzzle & bite, strong spannable body with ribs back with good loin, lovely harsh coat coming through with thick pelt, good rear quarters with strong bend of stifle & well set tail, steadily handled without fault, happy to award BOB

2nd Horner’s Stinavel Lambert JW

Grizzle dog ,nice otter head with strong expression, correct bite, straight front & shoulders, balanced neck, spannable harsh coat & thick pelt, good rear quarters , nice outline with level topline & well set tail, moved & handled flawlessly, unlucky to be in the class with 1 preferred overall picture of 1 today.

1st Singh’s Goldenmill Illusion at Vandamere.

Grizzle bitch, well presented, keen expression, correct bite, petite otter head, good length of neck, good bone, easily spannable, good pelt, well groomed coat coming trough, moved effortlessly around the ring, a good silhouette in the line up.

2nd Evan’s Icetonic Elsie.

Grizzle Bitch nice size, Feminine head and expression, good bone, nice double coat, Carrot tail, movement good enjoying her day out.
