Callow & Davis Whittimere Alright Bab, beautiful 6 month old bitch, full of promise, caught my eye when she entered the ring (and not only for her name), presented a lovely shape on the stack, good head with dark oval eye, small ears set on high with vertical outer edge, scissor bite, medium length of neck into shoulder, short strong back, balanced angulation front and rear, small feet, tail set on high, effortless stride on the move, definite one to watch.

Moved with a straight forward and free action using his angulation to advantage. BOB

Broadsmith Nyangoma Dream On Bobby Brown at Chainama (imp Deu), Heavier type than my winner, again has a good head but I would prefer a darker eye for his coat colour, ears set high, scissor bite, neck of good length into shoulder, forelegs straight, balanced moderate angulation, deep chest, compact feet, sound on the move. 1. Hoskins Bodlon Kind of Magic at Shelsue, fawn brindle 7month old bitch, nice head and oval eye, small rose shaped ears, scissor bite, naturally stood over ground with definite tuck up. BPIB.

Ryan Sylleka Sashay Away, bitch, larger in size than I prefer but won this class on her shape, nice head which fits with the rest of her body, oval eyes, rose shaped ears, long neck into shoulders, straight forlegs, pasterns with slight spring, definite tuck up, good depth of chest, naturally stood over ground, sound on the move. Adams Ellesophia Fly Me to the Moon, Std Wire Haired Dachshund, really liked this cheeky male, he has a good head which appears conical when viewed from above, almond shaped eye with ridges over the eye, scissor bite, high set ears, long neck into well laid shoulder, balanced angulation, good forechest, forelegs covering lowest point of keel, topline reasonably level, broad rump, free flowing sound mover.

2. Matthews Stanegate Senorita, Std Wire Haired Dachshund, another nice example of the breed, 6 month old bitch, feminine all through, good head and eye, high set ears, scissor bite, long neck into well laid shoulder, balanced angulation, good forechest, forelegs covering lowest point of keel, topline level, sound on the move.

Nash Ch Tokaji Moon over Miami with Mutoko JW, Basenji, a beautiful black and tan bitch who is quality all through, beautiful head, well chiselled with slight stop, correct amount of wrinkles to her head, dark almond eye, scissor bite, small pointed erect ears, long neck into well laid shoulder, elbows tucked in against brisket, forelegs straight, correct body proportions, short level back, hocks well let down, small and compact feet, high set tail with curve of buttock extending beyond the root of the tail, legs carried forward on the move demonstrating a long swinging stride.

Wayman Speymalt Northern Star JW, 8 year old Whippet, masculine head with dark oval eye, small rose shaped ears, punishing jaws complete with scissor bite, good length of neck into well laid shoulder, good front with fill to forechest, forelegs straight with slight spring to pasterns, deep chest, back broad, ribs well sprung, definite tuck up, well developed second thigh, stood naturally over the ground, long tail, sound mover showing freedom of action. Best Special Veteran and I learnt he went Reserve Best Veteran In Show, well done.

2. Murphy Black Royal At Rhosyndu, Beagle, another nice male who presented a nice shape on the stac. Good head of fair length, skull slightly domed, well defined stop, dark eye, low set ears, scissor bite, good length of neck into shoulder, good substance, ribs well sprung, level topline, right feet, sound on the move.

Barker Ch Silverbriar Mirrow Image JW VW, Basenji, 11 year old bitch and still the showgirl, beautiful head, dark almond eye, scissor bite, small pointed erect ears, long neck into well laid shoulder, elbows tucked in against brisket, forelegs straight, balanced angulation, short level back, high set tail with curve of buttock extending beyond the root of the tail, sound on the move.
