PUPPY DOG OR BITCH (2:0)

1ST: Strudwick: BURPHAM LOTTIES FIRST LOVE. Best Puppy In Breed. Presents a very appealing picture on the stack. Nicely balanced with good length to height proportions and good leg length to body depth. Good bone and feet with correct arched toes. Long ribs with good spring and pleasing in quarters already. Dark, expressive eye with, flat skull, moderate all through. Reachy neck with super lay of shoulder and plenty fill in front. She moves well with an easy stride.

2nd: Bellamy: BOCHILBARLEY GOBLET OF FIRE. Decent shape, good topline. Not quite the shoulder of 1 and I would prefer more fill in front. Has excellent ribbing through to short loin. Plenty width in quarter with enough bend of stifle. A little short stepping in front on the around but has a great attitude. Well muscled and in good coat.

JUNIOR DOG OR BITCH (3:0)

1ST: Bellamy: MOONTORN BETTER HALF OF ME. Best of Breed. Smart 15 month old girl, so well balanced with impressive outline and correct proportions all through. Lovely head and eye, dark colour and appealing expression, enough stop, well placed ears and good in back skull. Reachy neck, very well angulated fore and aft. Straight and true when viewed from the front. She has enough drive, sound coming and going and is extremely attractive on the around. Well put down and one I will watch with interest for the future.

2nd: Deacon: HARLISTREAM RAINSTORM. Good shape with good width over the quarters and enough bend of stifle. A shade long in the rear pasterns. Good length to foreface relative to back skull, clean in lips good nose. Would prefer a darker eye. Moved happily on the around.

3rd: Perry: KAMBERIN ANNIVERSARY WALTZ

YEARLING DOG OR BITCH ( 3:0)

1st: Bellamy: MOONTORN BETTER HALF OF ME. See previous report.

2nd: Wilson: HAMELDOWNTOR PEDRO XIMENEZ. This young man was presented in very nice order. Good muscle and in good coat. He had a super topline and tail set. Good skull and ear set. Has good depth of chest, plenty spring in rib of good length and is short in loin. Strong in the quarters but today was not putting it all in on the move, perhaps the heat was getting to him like it was me!

3RD: Perry: KAMBERIN ANNIVERSARY WALTZ

POST GRADUATE DOG OR BITCH (7:2)

1ST: Cobby: WAVERTON ICE AND FIRE. Tidy little mover with a very appealing head and good eye and expression. She has a super front assembly, rather nice behind . She was lacking a bit of coat today and on occasions on the stack was a bit soft in topline, but I liked her make, shape and balance. She moved with plenty reach and drive. Steady and attractive on the around.

2nd: Slade: HIGHTYNE FLY ME TO THE MOON. Good topline and tail set. Complimentary angles front and rear. Stands on good bone and over enough ground. Would prefer a little more stop and work in head but moves well on the around.

3rd: Deacon: HARLISTREAM HENDRICKS.

OPEN DOG OR BITCH (4:0)

1st: Bellamy: BOCHILBARLEY BLUE MOON (AI). Reserve Best of Breed. Put down here today in excellent order with strong, well defined musculature and in full coat. Rock solid topline with correct tail set. Well angulated in front with lovely lay of shoulder and good in upper arm. Deep, well sprung ribs extending back to strong, muscular loin and plenty width over first and second thigh with good bend of stifle. Just a shade deep in relation to comparative leg length. Moved well.

2nd: Bowen: CANDILIZ FUNKY MONKEY AT CLANDRIFT: Like her overall proportions and has very nice balance. Super quarter, good width to thigh and enough bend of stifle without excess. Has some return of upper arm would prefer more fill in front. She has a pleasing head and is of a nice style. Just couldn’t match the winner today in condition and attitude on the move.

3rd: Delamere:GAMERIGHTS DEEP RIVER BLUES.
