Lancashire Sporting Terrier Club 4th June 2022

A pleasure to judge for this hard working committee. It was good to hear warm applause for all of the winners. Pleased to see my Skye BoB go on to win Reserve Best In Show

Looked well here, correctly proportioned head with good ear placement. Good reach of neck. Well balanced in body with long ribs and firm couplings. Super topline. Well angulated quarters. He was in great body and coat. Moved true both ways. Effectively handled to Best of Breed and later, a well-deserved Reserve Best in Show.

1 Lomas’ Hurrockheath Miss Emmeline

Just 6 months and a little bit wary but easy enough to see that there is a lot to like here. Pretty head of correct proportions with bright eyes and typical expression. Nicely boned and developing well in body. Correct topline and stet on of tail. She moved well once settled. Should do well.

1 Forman’s Jandor Moonlight Melody

Finely made but well balanced through. Good head with dark eyes, well placed ears and strong jaw. Alert and keen expression. Arched neck of good length. Good topline. Nicely turned stifles. Moved well enough in a difficult ring.

2 Usher’s Digelsa Dark Sensation

Well boned 3-year-old, up to size. Masculine head with dark eyes. Strong neck leads to sloping shoulders and a straight front of good width. Strong quarters. Moved easily. Preferred the topline and tail set of the winner.
