Bedlington Terrier

Thanks to the LHCTC for the invitation to judge one of my favourite Terrier breeds at this well run, friendly show. A very good entry that was very much appreciated.

P (2) 1st Miteymidgets Modern Love. 10 month old dog pup. Appeals greatly for size and overall outline. Correct head shape, masculine but not coarse or heavy in any way. Small eye of correct shape. Excellent bite with large, functional teeth. Correctly shaped, thin ears. Good neck leading to a nicely angled front. Good feet and pads. Correct topline. Well bodied for his age. Excellent coat. Super mover. BP.

2nd Agnellino Faith No More. Well presented liver bitch also 10 months old and quite mature for her age. Equally good in head, eye and ear. Excellent bite. Strong neck. Good angles front and back. Shapely topline. Needs to tighten further in pasterns. Moved well enough once settled.

PG (5) Good class to sort. 1st Agnellino Midnight Runner. Strong, masculine dog that was presented in excellent form. Liked his head, excellent length of skull, narrow, deep and typical. Good eye shape and tone for his colour. Strong, scissor bite. Medium angles. When handler stacks him right, shows correct topline with a gentle rise over loin. Good profile movement, just needs to tighten a bit out and back. Overall a lovely dog.

2nd Miteymidgets New Varient. Ultra-feminine bitch. Lovely head and expression. Thin, well set ears. Correct neck into good front angulation. Good topline with muscular loin. A bit straight at the rear but still drives off well from low set hocks. Good coat with correct texture. Sound mover in all directions.

3rd Toolbox Yes Why Not At Squidlyannes.

L (1) 1st Miteymidgets New Visison. A very good young dog, standing alone but a worthy representative. Loved his head shape, correct skull and excellent bite. Good eye and ears. Super pigment. Excellent reach of neck. Correct front and rear with an excellent topline. Sound mover and presented in good coat.

O (20 1st Ch. Miteymidgets Going Global. Super 8 year old bitch. At full maturity and still on great form. She has a narrow skull, deep through and of pleasing length. Small, dark eye. Good pigment. Long neck. Good angles. Super outline with a slight rise over muscular loins. Carrying enough weight. In super coat of correct texture and even colour. Moved well, absolutely sound out and back. BOB.

2nd Miteymidgets Little Hottie At Squidlyannes. Younger and not the maturity or finish of 1st. Appeals for general type, size and outline. Good to go over on the table and moved well.

AV Puppy (5) All 5 puppies present showed promise and gave a good account of themselves.

1st Petmon Royal Ruffian. Promising Scottish Terrier. Won here on his very good head, strong, thick-set body for his age and excellent Terrier temperament. Moved soundly with enough drive. Excellent high set tail and was presented in super coat and condition.

2nd Lady Jed. Real baby at 6 months. Liked her otter head, dark eye and good expression. Strong neck. Good body, spannable and correct bone and feet. Excellent jacket. Sound on the move.

3rd Maxstaff Miss Vivienne At Teshleystaf. Staff Bull Terrier.

AV Open (4) 1st Komidon Rimsky Korsakov At Sarminja. Cesky Terrier. A little overawed on the table today but collected himself well enough on the move. Pleasing in head and expression. Liked his typical outline showing correct topline. Excellent quarters. Good coat.
