Judge: Mr Colin Goodswen (Alphadal)

Thank you so much to the committee for the opportunity to Judge at this highly efficiently run show. I would also like to thank my steward Wilf, who, on his own, was able to keep our ring running nice and smoothly. I had a wonderful entry, and was so happy to see some very high quality examples of our breed. Finally I must also thank 'The Northern Ireland Dalmatian Club' who supported our breed at this show which included monetary prizes and some stunning rosettes.

Puppy D/B (6 entries, 0 absentees)

1st Chance & Dodd's Dotlun Apache Inch Perfect, 9 month old Liver spotted bitch, lovely kind expression with amber eyes, well laid back shoulders, length of shoulder and upper arm nice and equal. Perfectly level topline leading to correct tailset and equally nicely angled rear quarters. Her movement was effortless and smooth. Really seemed to enjoy her day. Delighted to award her BPIB and was elated to see her achieve 1st Utility puppy Group.

2nd Lamb's Dalpetro Dotty, 8 month old black spotted bitch. Another stunning puppy that could easily have swapped places with No1 on any other day. Lovely dense black spotting on an immaculate white coat. Good length of neck to well defined withers. Well angled, good depth of chest for one so young. Also moved with drive and purpose, just not as settled as 1st today.

3rd Wallington's Ailsadot Astral Lyra.

Junior D/B (2 entries, 0 absentees)

1st Foster's Perdita's Tomorrowland, 13 month old black spotted bitch. A friendly, pretty young lady with a correctly proportioned head, nicely arched neck to well defined withers. Nice level topline which she carries well on the move. At one with her handler today as she powered around the ring.

2nd Wallington's Ailsadot Astral, 9 month old black spotted bitch with lovely expression. Nice front and deep chest. Moderate angulation front and rear, not overdone at all. Nice steady movement, definitely one to watch for the future.

Graduate D/B (6 entries, 2 absentees)

1st Johnson's Dvojica Evergreen, 17 month old black spotted male. This boy impressed as soon as he entered the ring. Lovely strong masculine head, good length of neck, nice front with lovely straight front legs to tight cat feet. Well muscled and nice round bone. His angles are well balanced fore and aft with good turn of stifle. His overall picture made it difficult to take my eyes off him. Thrilled to award him my Best of Breed and pleased that he achieved Utility Group 4.

2nd Noble's Ruebedu Sheik Yerbouti, 4 year old black spotted bitch. Lovely feminine head, good front and nicely balanced angles. Excellent temperament and well handled. Good strong mover when settled.

3rd Barrett's Dalamanti Caesars Palace.

Open D/B (6 entries, 2 absentees)

1st Marley & Libbey's Bellili's D'Amore De Loin ShCM, 6 year old black spotted male, nice head with handsome expression. Excellent bone, nice front and strong rear quarters with good strong 2nd thigh. Nice and settled today, at one with his handler.

2nd Barrett's Dalamanti Hidden Glory, 3 year old black spotted bitch. Nice feminine expression, good length of neck to well defined withers and pleasingly level topline. Very lively and animated today but nicely settled on the move. Moved well.

3rd Noble's Shulune Celtic Snapdragon of Ruebedu.
