Whippets

Puppy (4, 1 abs)

1. Howgate & Hull’s Palmik Chasing Rainbows. 7 month old fawn bitch. Well balanced and perfect for size. Feminine head with kind expression, well laid shoulders and excellent return of upper arm. Nice flowing lines with no exaggeration. Correct topline with a slight rise over the loin, and a matching underline. Well muscled and moderately angulated hind quarters. Very together for her age and moved beautifully in all directions. Delighted to award her BOB and BPIB. 

2. Hooper’s Veredon Veuve Clicquot. 9 month old fawn bitch. Another very feminine bitch with a very pretty head and correct rose shaped ears. She has the correct amount of substance for her size. Long neck, correct layback of shoulder and a nice curvy outline. Well muscled hind quarters. Moves well and holds her topline well in profile.

Post Graduate (5, 0 abs)

1. Livsey’s Bryntreia Sea of Love. 2 year old brindle and white dog. One of the dogs that really felt the cold on this day. Masculine head with alert expression and rose shaped ears. Good for size. Strong neck and well angulated front. Correct bone, good spring of pastern and good feet. Lovely curvy topline and underline. Moves well in all directions. RBOB.

2. Trouton’s Runnel Run for Fun. 6 year old fawn dog. Another dog of a good size but slightly heavier throughout. Lovely head with a kind and gentle expression. He has a well constructed front with well laid back shoulder and good return of upper arm. Good feet and pasterns. Strong well muscled hind quarters with low hocks. Holds his topline well in profile.

Open dog (3, 0 abs)

1. Howgate & Hull’s Palmik King Arthur JW. 19 months old brindle and white dog. Masculine head with flat skull and a lovely expression. Well balanced and with correct moderate angulation. Good for size and bone, and with good feet. Presents a lovely curvy outline which he holds well on the move. Moves well in profile and sound on the away and back.

2. Manley’s Grasampa Turn on the Light at Ivybright. 4 year old brindle dog. Handsome boy who is slightly taller than my winner. He has a masculine head and a nice strong neck. Curvy top and underline. Would prefer more spring of pastern. Well presented and moves well.

Open bitch (4, 1 abs)

1. Trouton’s Citycroft Grace Kelly of Runnel JW. 4 year old fawn and white bitch. Very pretty bitch who is perfect for size. The most feminine head and beautiful expression. She has a lovely very curvy outline. Excellent neck into shoulder, and correct return of upper arm. Flat bone with the correct slight spring of pastern and good feet. Moderate hind angulation with low hocks. Moves really well in profile.

2. Scanlan’s Jasteal Lady of Loe Bar. 2 year old fawn bitch. Lovely for breed type a presents a very curvy outline. Correct flat bone, excellent topline and underline. Moderately angulated front and hind quarters. Moves very well in profile.
