East Kent Canine Society

Puppy (6, 2 abs)

1. Reed & Pace’s Dejare A Dash of Hope. 8 month fawn and white bitch. Well balanced with correct moderate angulation. Feminine head with kind expression, good neck into shoulder, nice flowing lines with no exaggeration. Correct topline with a slight rise over the loin, and a matching underline. Very together for her age and with beautiful profile movement. BPIB and I was delighted to see she went PG2, I will watch her future with interest.

2. Bunney’s Bunehug Let It Be Me. 6 month fawn dog. Raw puppy and his first show I believe. Masculine head with flat skull, and lovely alert expression. Another well balanced puppy. Good neck and shoulder, straight front and good bone. Correct curvy top and underline. A little unsettled on the move today but this will come with age.

Junior (1, 0 abs)

1. Foxon’s Dejare Might Be a Secret. 15 month old brindle bitch. A very feminine bitch who I really liked. She is good for size and has a lovely very curvy outline. Excellent neck into shoulder, and correct return of upper arm. Flat bone with the correct slight spring of pastern and good feet. Her hind angulation matches her front angulation resulting in her very fluid, effortless movement. Sadly she wasn’t cooperating with her handler today, or she could have been a strong contender in the challenge.

Post Graduate (5, 1 abs)

1. Reed & Pace’s Dejare Dream On. 3 year old fawn bitch. Feminine bitch in fit condition and with the most beautiful soft coat. Excellent type, size and substance, and with moderate angulation. Naturally stands over a lot of ground. A very sound mover but tends to flatten her topline a little at times. She showed really well which won her this class. RBOB.

2. Foxon’s Dejare Might Be a Secret.

Open (7, 4 abs)

1. Boggia’s Falconcrag One For The Team At Boughton. 2 year old fawn bitch. A typical head with kind expression, and correct rose shaped ears. She has a strong well arched neck, good layback of shoulder and return of upper arm. Correct slight spring of pastern and good feet. She naturally stands over a lot of ground and has a curvy top and underline. In perfect fit condition. A very sound mover and held her outline in profile. BOB and I was really pleased to see her take third place in the hound group.

2. Smith’s Welstar Airs and Graces At Cryhavoc. 5 year old fawn bitch. One I have judged before and the same comments still apply. Excellent for breed type a presents a very curvy outline. She is all whippet and there’s nothing exaggerated about her. Smooth shoulders and correct flat bone, excellent topline and underline. She moves well from all angles, however today I just preferred the profile movement of 1.
