I would like to thank the committee for their kind invitation to judge at this show and to my stewards who did a sterling job.

Spaniel Cocker

Puppy:- 1. Nelson - Anastasia The First - 6 month old beautiful black and tan puppy. Full of cocker personality. Pleasing outline when stood. Lovely feminine head of good proportions with dark eye and gentle expression. Ears correctly placed with good length of neck. Correct angulation in both front and rear which showed when she moved confidently around the ring for one so young.

Special Yearling:- (3) (Abs 1)

1. Blackley & Salero - Wightroche The Bee JW – 20 month old black bitch. Feminine head with gentle expression. Correctly placed ears. Body well proportioned with good angulation front and back. She has a level topline which gently slopes down to correct tail set. Coat gleamed in the sunshine and her movement won this class. RBOB

2. Walker - Blueacre Simply The Best With Ameysford - 16 month old Orange Roan. Attractive head with kind expression and correctly placed ears. Overall well made but just preferred my winner’s topline. She was in beautiful coat and condition and moved happily around the ring.

Open:- (1) 1. Blackley & Salero – Cooleela Operation Dynamo Wightroche – 5 year old black bitch in peak condition. Lovely feminine head with kind expression and dark eye. Correctly placed ears. Good length of neck leading into sloping shoulders. Compact body. Well boned with straight front legs and tight round well padded feet. Well made hindquarters which showed how soundly she moved around the ring in typical cocker style. BOB Delighted to see her go Group 3.

Spaniel English Springer :-

Special Yearling (2) (Abs 1)

Weyman – Spuffings Prosecco -13 month liver/white bitch who has a broad head and kind expression with correctly placed ears. She also has a really good length of neck leading into good front angulation. She presented a good overall picture but needs time to body up. However, she had very good rear angulation and moved correctly around the ring.

Post Graduate:- (1) Williams & Toublic – Cobhay Fancy Phlox – 4 year liver/white bitch presented a very balanced picture. Pretty head with good proportions and kind expression. Deep in chest with good spring of rib. Good front and rear angulation with well let down hocks. Moved very well around the ring covering the ground with ease. When challenging for BOB, she was the best mover.

1.Weyman – Spuffing Molly’s Secret – 7 year old black/white bitch who headed a very nice class of bitches. Beautiful head and expression with kind eye. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Short coupled with good shoulder angulation. Well ribbed and well developed rear quarters. Moved very easily and correctly when moving around the ring which gave her this class. RBOB

2.Williams & Toublic – Cobhay Dazzling Azalea – 7 year old liver/white bitch presented a very balanced picture. She is very well made and shares many of the same attributes as the winner. Very little to choose between them except my winner moved more positively.

Spaniel Welsh Springer

Post Graduate (2) (Abs 1)  Jackson – Catjack Everpreciousone – 5 year old bitch Presented a good overall picture. Attractive head and kind expression. She has good front and rear angulation which she used to move around the ring .My winner had a cleaner outline. RBOB

Open (3) (Abs 2)   Barnes – Nyliram Twist And Shout With Barhi – 3 year old bitch. Very feminine in head with plenty of chiselling. Good length of neck sloping into well placed shoulders. Well sprung ribs with compact body. Stands on well boned legs with tight round feet. Moved well around the ring with good hind movement. BOB
