GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTERS

Post Grad (3, 1 abs)

1st Cushatlaw Athena. BPIB. Stands over plenty of ground with good angulation, short back and plenty of dog in front. Has a good forechest, depth of brisket, spring of rib and wide well muscled quarters. Balanced head, fine ears, nicely arched neck fitting cleanly into well laid shoulders and a harsh coat. Moved well keeping her shape.

2nd Sharrale Aalis. Very raw at present. Has good depth of muzzle, long arched neck, level back and good second thighs. Pulled away on the move.

Open (4, 2 abs)

1st Dappledele First Date At Bryburn. BOB. She has a very pretty head with a dark eye and kind expression. Good depth of muzzle and raised brows, well set on ears and good length of neck. Plenty of heart and lung room, wide thighs and good tail set. Moved with a smooth and nimble gait.

RETRIEVER (FLAT COATED)

Post Grad (2, 1 abs)

1st Aricdell Night Fall. Plenty of bone and substance, excellent forehand with depth of brisket, legs set well under. Level topline, wide quarters and lashing tail. Toes in a bit on the move but has good forward reach. Decent, well balanced head.

Open (2, 1 abs)

1st Lacsar Tequila Mockingbird IKC. BOB. Presents a well balanced outline, terrific front with plenty of forechest, legs well under body. Great length of upper arm and lay of shoulder, strong quarters. Gorgeous head and expression. Holds a great shape on the move and moves with a lashing tail. Typical front action with great forward reach.

RETRIEVER (LABRADOR)

Junior (2, 1 abs)

1st Flyenpyg Shut Ya Pie Hole. Strongly built with good width of chest, plenty of depth and good ribbing. Level topline, wide quarters with well turned stifle and great tail. Broad head, strong jaw and ears well set on. Stands on good feet and moves steadily holding topline.

Post Grad (4, 2 abs)

1st Flyenpyg Shut Ya Pie Hole.

2nd Exelby Hellebore In Flyenpyg. Lost topline on the stack but has good depth and strong bone. Round, compact feet. Preferred the head of the winner.

Open (3, 2 abs)

1st Flyenpyg Porky Pig JW. BOB. Masculine head, big nose with wide nostrils, intelligent expression and strong neck fitting cleanly into well laid shoulders. Has strong bone and stands on round compact feet. Well developed quarters and lashing tail.

SPANIEL (AMERICAN COCKER)

Post Grad (1)

1st Mycalleys China Doll. Divine head, rounded skull, deep stop, beautiful eye and soft expression. Strong neck, well laid shoulders, hard, sloping topline. Fabulous mover.

Open (3, 1 abs) 2 absolute crackers! Both buff with fabulous heads, hard toplines and silky coats.

1st Churchill Moser Dog At Mycalleys. BOB. Refined chiselled head, compact body, well boned with great ribbing and well developed quarters. Covers the ground well on the move showing a clean pair of heels.

2nd Mycalleys Moondust Over Sharnamber. Compact and sturdy, well up at shoulders. Effortless movement.

SPANIEL (SUSSEX)

Open (1)

1st Gainsmill Lilly Luna Potter At Crumbledor. BOB. Quality bitch with well balanced head, kind eye, deep muzzle and low set ears. Presents a true Sussex outline, well ribbed up, plenty of dog in front and strong quarters. Steady mover with good drive and true on front.

FIELD SPANIEL

Open (6, 4 abs)

1st Broomeece Fire Cracker over Mishules. All male, good bone and feet, depth and spring of rib, well muscled quarters. Handsome head, deep muzzle, low set ears. Moved OK.

2nd Fecimus Living the Dream at Flyenpig JW. Balanced head, lovely big nose, well boned with great feet. Not as animated on the move as the winner.

BEAGLE

Post Grad (3, 1 abs)

1st Evalux Druid Of Breskar (Imp Ita). BOB. . Hound Group 2. Sturdily built with round bone and short pasterns. Well proportioned with level topline and well bent stifles. Balanced head with good stop and long ears. Holds a good shape on the move

2nd Molesend Wistful. Very pretty with a lovely expression. Level topline, strong loin, well turned stifle. Not as confident as the winner.

Open (4, 3 abs)

1st MaCall Bushman. 9 year old looking grand with great forehand and bone. Has width of chest and is well ribbed back. Tail set on high and carried gaily. Moved well.

RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK

Junior (1)

1st Hespa Masseto Of Africaner. BPIB. BOB. Hound Group 1. Puppy Group 1. I fell for this one, he is so impressive on the stack presenting a picture of quality and strength with a touch of elegance and style. True in front with strong bone, deep brisket, ample spring of rib, strong loin, fabulous quarters and compact feet. His head and expression are to die for and he moves so effortlessly.

Post Grad (2)

1st Barfordridge Wilhelmina Of Janak. Pretty headed bitch with bright eyes and good expression. Graceful over neck and shoulders, well muscled upper arm and sloping shoulders, plenty of depth and good turn of stifle. Easy mover.

2nd Benicloujam Lola Of Chagall. Very nicely put together, clean over the neck and shoulders and has good second thigh development. Preferred the strength in muzzle of the winner who had the better forward reach.

Open (4, 1 abs) There was much to commend all three.

1st Benicloujam Aumba Breeze Of Africaner. Balanced head set cleanly into long neck. Clean over the shoulders, strength in body, flowing lines and stands on good feet. Moves on an easy stride.

2nd Matsushona Fire Opal Of Cynami. Upstanding handsome boy with deep chest and level topline.

3rd Kinabula's All About The Bass JW

SALUKI

Open (2, 1 abs)

1st Glenoak Laquan. BOB. Presents a graceful outline with sloping shoulders and good cut up. Long, narrow head with dark eye. Light movement with plenty of reach and drive.

WHIPPET

Junior (1)

1st Collooney Queen Aslaug. Pretty long lean head, rose ear, enough depth, good topline. Moved OK.

Post Grad (2)

1st Aarminias Dance Like A Dafty. BOB. Hound Group 3. Good type, presents a picture of strength and power. Graceful outline with well laid shoulders, deep chest and bladed bone. Broad well muscled back with graceful arch over loin and powerful quarters. Long lean head with fine muzzle and slight stop. Typical front action with great propulsion behind.

2nd Bruntsfield Isle Sula Skier At Klondyke. Finer all through and could do with a bit more weight. Very pretty though with a lovely expression.

Open (1)

1st Ranveli Lemon Popsicle At Klondyke. Has a lovely head and eye, long neck and super quarters. Carries a great topline and sound mover. Finer all through than the BOB.

A.V. IMPORTED BREED REGISTER HOUND

Open (2) Litter sister and brother with the winner having the better front.

1st Serenade Des Vallees Longeronnaises Avec Caelestibleu. Basset Bleu De Gascogne. BAVIMP. Puppy Group 2. What a little sweetheart. Very pretty wedge shaped head and fabulous ears. Deep chest and prominent prosternum. Easy mover.

2nd Schumann Des Vallees Longeronnaises Avec Caelestibleu. Basset Bleu De Gascogne. Much the same comments apply but he didn’t have the body of his sister.

A.V.N.S.C. HOUND

Post Grad (1)

1st Kwaricott Kaleginy Bettinsoli. Deerhound. Dignified in outlook with straight front and deep chest. Appealing head with good moustache. Correct shaggy coat. Moved well with good head carriage.

Open (4, 1 abs)

1st Merlin Do Casal Dos Choupos (Imp) Basset Fauve De Bretagne. BAVNSC. Hound Group 4. Won this class with his better hind movement. Fabulous head, great forehand. Carries a better topline on the move than on the stack.

2nd Ormanstar Cosmos At Kaleginy. Deerhound. Terrific head and expression. Tended to cross behind.

3rd Souffriere Artimon Basset Griffon Vendeen (Grand).

A.V. HOUND

Junior (2)

1st Souffriere Artimon. Nice type but moved rather closely behind. Great head carriage.

2nd Bronia Solar Corona. Dachshund (Smooth-Haired). What a pity she wasn’t entered in a breed class. Pretty girl with good balance and great front. Moved OK but was pulling away from her handler.

1st Barfordridge Wilhelmina Of Janak. Ridegback

Open (2, 1 abs)

1st Kinabula's All About The Bass JW. Ridgeback. I liked her in her breed class but wish she had shorter nails.

Veteran (2)

1st Macall Bushman.

2nd Kenquince Pisonia Of Cynami ShCM. Rhodesian Ridgeback. Balanced in outline, fabulous head and expression. Just a bit wristy on the move.

Puppy Dog

1st Hespa Masseto Of Africaner. Rhodesian Ridgeback.

2nd Mikared Harry Of Sussex. Border Collie. Well balanced and graceful outline. Fabulous coat.

Puppy Bitch

1st Boshanti Zhazha. Tibetan Terrier. Square and sturdy with a beautiful coat. Presented and handled well. Moved with an effortless stride.

2nd Cushatlaw Athena. GSP.
