The Royal Cheshire County Show

Tuesday, 21st June 2022

I must thank the committee for this lovely invitation and my fellow judges for sending me so many wonderful BOB & Best Puppies. The quality was obvious in all the Groups and I really was 'spoilt for choice'and many decisions were made on the smallest margins. As the weather proved to be very warm in the sun, I would like to thank the exhibitors for working with me to keep your dogs in the shade and not overheating. Best in Show

All seven groups winners lined up and what a choice I had. I have to make a decision so after moving them all again my choice for the topspot was Myers Bullmastiff Optimus Douglas absolutely fills the eye for type and movement, I understand he was Best Puppy at this show last year. Reserve Best in Show was the Dandy Dinmont Miss Allenby's Ch. Diddimont Luna Wuffgood, so pretty yet so strong and even in the heat still showing her socks off.

Best Puppy in Show

Again all were presented and another choice that was not easy. This time the topspot went to the Siberian Husky from the first day Rogerson/Delgarno & Simms Arcticskies Fernando Avec Kessem only 6 months but what a prospect so much breed type, I would happily take him home. Reserve Best Puppy Allenby's PBGV Soletrader Fun Times for Rangali, still showing so well at the end of a long day and looked so happy doing it.
