Whippet Bitch Critique

Puppy Bitch (2, 0a)

1. Hooper; Veredon Veuve Cliquot. Quality pale fawn youngster white trim almost 10 months old, shapely girl of lovely breed type which I did prefer. Pretty head and sweet gentle expression she oozed femininity. Long elegantly arched neck flowed into a good lay of shoulder, adequate depth of brisket for age and good length of ribbing. Nice rear angles good turn of stifle with hocks well let down. Loved her curvaceous underline which flowed into a good tuck up complimenting her lovely shape. Moved out soundly in all directions holding a pleasing topline. BPIB, HPG2.

2. Sharp; Barnesmore Never Feel Blue. Brindle of 11 months totally different in breed type, nevertheless nicely balanced and mature for age. Correct angles fore and aft. Good width of thigh, sweeping turn of stifle enabling powerful rear drive. Moved well and with purpose, sound as a pound in all directions, just lost a little topline on the move.

Junior Bitch (2, 1a)

1. Maple; Courtbirch Catch In The Dark. Fawn white trim not long out of puppy class stood alone today. Pretty girl of good breed type and nice for size. Good feminine head with black mask complimented by the darkest of coal eye. Adequate depth of brisket and good infill. Desired bladed bone well knuckled neat feet, really has lots to like. Moved well in profile just a little untidy behind. Eye a tad full.

Yearling Bitch (3, 2a)

1. Sharp; Chippwhipp Let The Sunshine. Smart brindle youngster another who stood alone today, nevertheless worthy of her placing. Good head with correct flat skull and clean scissor bite. Desired front and rear angulation, lovely depth of brisket and good length and return of upper arm. Strong through the loin, well developed upper thigh sweeping turn of stifle, she moved correctly and effortlessly in all directions with great rear drive.

Graduate Bitch (1, 0a)

1. Ellsmore; Freehamlet Dreme Maker. Another brindle who also stood alone. Elegant and refined so full of those desired gentle curves. Her correct topline and flowing underline complimenting her lovely profile shape. Moved ok in all directions.

Open Bitch (4, 2a)

1. Lawrence & Woodward; Palmik Kandalama Dusk Till Dawn JW. Brindle and white parti just embarking on her veteran career. An honest bitch full of quality, well balanced and spot on for size. Gorgeous refined feminine head, complimented by her kind gentle expression. Well constructed front assembly, good length and return of upper arm, elbow falling directly under wither viewed on the stack. Deep through the brisket and strong in loin, nicely angulated rear mirrored her front. Stood square, fore limbs straight, correct spring of pastern and standing on good feet. Moved out so soundly in all directions holding a lovely topline. long and low with enough reach and plenty of rear drive, I could watch her move all day. Undeniably my BOB, delighted she later took Best Veteran in Show under Stuart Byrne (Toveri).

2. Hooper; Torbers Rare Magic. Mature brindle and white parti she presented such a classic elegant balanced outline. Good female head and expression, elegant long arched neck flowed into a well laid shoulder. Good depth of brisket and tuck up, which gave her a super shape viewed in profile she has all the curves in all the right places. Nice rear angles, good bend of stifle and hocks well let down. Moved out soundly in all directions.
